Date of Question: Aug 16 2006 | Question ID: 65038 Please help! I am managing Kidderminster and have taken them from the conference to league 1 in successive seasons but now I am stuck with the best team but massively underachieving so I can only assume that it's the formation. Can somebody please give me their killer formations to stop me going mad! |

Well, it's most probably the lack of coaching staff. Try upgrading these so your players unleash their full potential. Also, try getting some good seasoned veterans in to help you out in tough spots.

Ok m8 heres my tip.... Buy a few veterans ... Try and get a veteran CB and CM ... That should give you some experience.
Also try My formation... You need good attacking players tho... And a good back 4.
4-1-3-2 ... Dont make the 1 infront of the back 4 a DM ... You need a playmaker there.

I'll give you help in finding some awesome cheap players.
I prefer playing 4-3-1-2 with 2 wide playersin midfield
Firstly if you have the funds I would try and get a player called Luis Pedro Figueroa for £1.1m from Universidad de Chile great left winger. Also there are 2 awesome players hidden at Forest Green Rovers; Alex Meechan, and Bruno Teixeira, both of whom score 20 goals per season in the premeir division and they cost £50k for both!!

Adding to Annefranman52: Along with the staff, make sure you get the board to upgrade the training grounds. If the fans and the board love you, they will do it, even if you give them an ultimatium (they say it's 'acceptable'... Right... A Conference TG in LC division... I have given them ultimatium and always approved it. Perhaps consecutive League championship winner and cup winner helps :)
And Alex and Bruno is a great buy, as well as Gadsby from Forest Green, Cole Skuse from Bristol City, Myhill (Goalie) from Hull and Emmanuel Krontiris from 1860 Munich.
