Well I just started playing the game same happened to me.
I tried by checking the objectives option and returning to game and it worked for me
I tried this 4 times and it allways worked hope it does for you

Hi,

You need to press the pause break button at the top right of your keyboard

If there is a chat box, press enter, if it says 'game paused' there is a button on you're keyboard near the lights that show whether num lock, caps lock and scroll lock are on, it says pause on it, press it to pause and un-pause the game

what do you press when on a laptop, laptops dont ave pause/break and pressing p doesnt work and there is no objectives menu on skirmish
