how do i scoop flour?

In the pantry where you have to scoop the flour to find batteries, can someone please tell me how to do it. I have held the scoop pointing at it and some other things, but have now been stuck on it for over a week and it's driving me mad. Looked everywhere for walkthroughs or hints, but theres nothing about for this game.

Any replies would be much appreciated before I smash the game up!!

That does not work. When I select the metal scoop and click on the sack of flour, the game jumps to the sack of flour. But moving the Wii Remote does nothing and the only button that does anything is the "B" button and that just backs me out and puts the scoop back.

I switched from my WII MOTION controller to a standard controller and it started working.

Do I push any buttons?
Tara7577 answered:

I just got finished with this part. You know when you make the motion to scoop up anything for real. Try the same motion or something like that and it'll work.

But now I have a question for you, when you get to Chapter 5, well there's a part when he says that he just wants to get off the island. I don't know what to do next. If/when you do, answer me back.
Thanks.
Hope that helps!

Guest answered:

Do the scooping motion, but slowly

Guest answered:

I just thrust my Wii remote forwards, with the tip of the remote forward, like scooping flour.
I hope that helped :D

Guest answered:

I'm thinking using the regular controller might help. Like you I've tried everything, little scoop motions, big scoop motions, pressing A, not pressing A, fast scoop, slow scoop, pointing at tv, away from tv, left to right, right to left, directly at tv, from up high, from down low, nothing. I hope the other controller thing works. Obviously there's a glitch. Some people can do it while others are going insane.

actually I just got it! I was about to give the whole thing away and then it worked! I'm not sure how - I just made random "scooping" motions with the remote and after about 5 minutes a small amount of flour was removed at first, revealing the battery, and when I persevered for about another 5 minutes the battery mysteriously appeared in the scoop itself! I don't really even know how this happened but all I can say is just keep persevering, it seems there are no real "tricks".

it works when you scoop on the frozen screen. I thought you had to 'scoop' before this scene.

Do you know if I push any buttons? I have been tiring for a while and am getting really frustrated. Does anyone have any helpful tips?
Guest answered:

Get up high press A and a fast scooping motion. And got it in five minutes. Sharp forward motion. Stand on top of the bed.

Guest answered:

You have press a while your doing a scooping motion not before it won't pick up until your done to get the batires do it again

Guest answered:

Point the controller towards the floor then bring up swiftly in a scooping motion.

Guest answered:

The sensor bar won't always pick it up. I turned the sensitivity on my Wii remote up all the way and it worked when I tried again.
