And if you're a non-guardian go to warlics magic shop and mix the rock and other 2 ingrediants until you get a pet roock.then talk to valencia privately and talk about passes and then you're able to go to the crsswords

You can't get the blade of awe if your not a guardian, unless you cheat to get it.
