What safe? If it's the one with colors and numbers in the library, just pick anything you want. Then three heads will appear, and a beam will shoot the moon. Then in Granemor City, you can click on the evil moon to take you to the Void.

If yur talkin about the 1 in the gecko's mouth then open the drawer with the gecko clik on it. Play the minigame and remember yur number. It's gekkonidae for the first 2 lines and yur numberon the third. The a feather will come out. Get the feather and tickle him on the left side. Keep tickling him until the message says hehehe. The keep doing it until there is a shake and the message says bwahahahahahahaha.then you can buy his armour( idont recommend it if you're over lvl 35.)

If you mean the one in the room you enter when clicking the torch in the library, just click the handle
