For the slam dunk contest, these are the dunks that will score big numbers

press E while gathering and press X (trick button) and you will see your player doing a between the leg dunk. Execute the dunk to perfection and you will score about 48( the least) or 50.

Can anybody tell me how to alley oop off the shot clocks, the big squares on the sides, throw it over your head, threw..

Well, Let me tell you all the ones I know. To hit it of the so called "square" hold the control pad left, and then hold c-stick left (you can also do it vice-versa). Well, I can't think of anything else but try combinations with the control pad and C stick.

What buttons do you press to do a slam dunk in slam dunk contest of more than a 360 degree spin for example, 540 or 720?

Well, there is only one 540 dunk and one 720 dunk. I will tell you how to do them.

To do the 540 press y, spin your control stick around 1 and a half times, then press L and B at the same time. Hold this dunk untill he spins roughly a 180 then he should do a 360 statue of liberty then finish backwards. To do the 720 First hold R (hold R for the whole trick) then press y, then spin your control stick around twice, then finish with y. You have to hold this dunk for the same amount of time as the 540.

Note: These dunks are an automatic 50. I have also tested these dunks, so they do work. They will only not work if you do them wrong.

Just realease the players that suck and are paid a lot
for example if your the knicks then release Allan Houston because he sucks in the game, and is paid like 14m so if you realease him you will have room to sign players.

How do you perform a 720?

You have to be tricky with tha fingers 4 this dunk.

Start at that 3-point line. Hold down tha r1 button and press triangle.

Then quickly rotate the left analog stick twice counter-clockwise and finally press triangle or square or circle or X, it doesn't matter.

Remember timing is everything: hold it too short you will drop tha ball but hold it too long you will miss tha dunk.

Good luck scorin 50's with this dunk.
