Mechquest Hints for PC
When at Tak's Mechs on solars go to the man right outside the entrance to Tak's Mechs talk to the man on the right named Joey undergo the salvage missions and you can salvage weapons from bots killed then just pay 1000 credits to get it turned into a certain lvl weapon I do believe they stay just 2 levels above your current level and the weapons can range in levels also you get pretty good money and xp for each monster plus theres a repair station there so you can go for awhile. I'm level 19 and fought a level 19 and got 277 xp and 1934 money
Im level 20 and have gone to the movie theater next to the pizza shop and have been getting mostly nova gems instead of money. Ive gotten several 5's and one 50 so far. All from clicking the "get prize button" I've gotten 75 nova gems so far from doing this
As you may have already know, The zombie outbreak on Planet Romero is out! Here is how you beat them.
In Romero, do a mission from Nurse Helia in the building right of the spawn point (if you haven't started Nurse Helia's Missions/first visit to Romero, you better read this! It could save you some troubles!)
When versus a Zombie Guy or a Zombie Girl, you'll need the Brute Blade (Dmg:10-18) (if below Rank 12/32 in the Hospital on Loreon, below LVL 10,or below 12k Credits) the Trephine Laser (Hospital Rank 12+ shop item, but also in Romero, Dmg: 11-19) or the Sternum Blade (Dmg:12-20) as they can deal damage that is above 20, and sometimes 30 as well, since the Zombies in Romero have HP somewhere above 100 HP! Also, make sure Power,Reflex,Accuracy, and Perception is 10+
ALWAYS use Special Attack until the blue bar runs out! Special Attacks has they have a very high change to deal 20-30+ damage! Then finish the zombie off with normal attacks that does 10/11/12-about 30
Ta-the! If you have done what I said you'll end each battle above 25%, with a extra 100 EXP and 700 Credits!
(Romero is a good way to up your Credits! Since the Zombie Killin' Missions always ends either above 1,000 or 2,000 Credits!)
Many of you already know this...but if your new to MechQuest, here is what you do.
After you logged in and selected your character, and you should spawn in Soluna City in Loreon. Go right 2 times to find Hal's Haircuts, Clothing store, Energy Blade store, and Mysterious Johnson's Magic Shop. ENTER THE MAGIC SHOP!!!
When you enter the building, you'll see normal items with a little magic touch to them. There are 5 items you can interact with, but 4 most newbies don't know about...so here is what you do on those 4!
1. Beach Ball Bomb:
Scroll over to start a 13 sec. Countdown... It will stop if you remove the mouse. HOLD THE MOUSE on the Beach Bomb to make it explode....causing a cut-scene where Johnson reseveres time to before you scrolled over the Beach Bomb...but before the cut-scene ends, you and Johnson both get hit by our next item on the list!
2. Punchy (the thing that KO's You and Johnson out before Johnson fixes everything)
What's so secret about a punching bag? YOU CAN FIGHT IT!!!!!!!!!!!! Click it about 5 times to active the battle with it. Equip your best energy blade here!! He does about 10+ damage.
But what sucks about this secret is this:
IT GIVES ONLY 10 EXP AND CREDITS!!!
So maybe use it when your about to LVL UP with only 10-1 EXP left.
3. Whoopie-master 3k!
Same as before, but this time, you'll have to click it about 11 times! Again, equip best energy blade, does about 10+ damage!
Rewards are the same again, only 10 EXP and Credits...which sucks...so again, only use if you have 10-1 EXP left until next LVL
4. Barrel Pirate Monkeys!
Just click a secret spot on the barrel to active a fight...with a MONKEY wear pirate clothes! Does below 10 damage... But, for speedrunners, equip a blade that deals above 10 dmg,and make sure it can hit in the 20s and 30s too, because he can die in 2-3 hits! FAST AS HELL!
Again...only 10 EXP and Credits, use when 10-1 EXP til LVL up.
The 5th item is a mirror, but you unlock at Rank 8 in Ghost Hunting....not that much of a secret...
I hope this help you with your....secret finding series...or whatever
First you get a good mecha with good equips, I use lv 12 wolfblade but with other head as weapon, then you get lv 35 on energy blade at the GEARS university and buy the black belt blade in soluna, then you go to mission log-> quest in Romero, to fight zombies, after some running and talking you can go in a building, talk with the nurse Helia and to the quest of zombie samples, the zombies are a bit hard sometimes but give 100exp and 700credits
If you know the webbed spider (to the right) keep battling it to get more exp to level up more, but Ferrel wolf from the SPD.
On the left side of the gate of tek's mechs you would find a girl talk to her and press yes, if you are lucky it will give you 500 above exp and above 1000 exp .
If you liked it please thumps up. Plez!!!!!:^D
Go to the left of the Soluna city in the Cinemech when lvl. 3 when you watch there just keep watching until the last chance you will get a 5 free ng it's true I got 5 nova-gems but it take a 1 week just keep watching every day you will get free
Go to planet Yokai , complete all the dojo missions and beat all the masters. After you beat the Supreme master your HP and damage will increase automatically.
Do you ever get mad because you look for a good way for money, but it doesn't fit your level? Well, as far as I know, this way is easy and gets like 3000 gold per battle and 400 exp per battle. (May vary. I'm lvl 25, but it's probably the same because I removed the level thing.) Go to battlemech arcade game (PVP game) and go to options. Remove the scale fights thing an click duel. Put in the ID number "10708710" without the "". This guy is lvl 40, but has a lvl 1 mech. Tear his newbatron to scraps an press play again. The number should still be there after you press play again. If you quit and go on again, you'll have to re-type it. This method will get you exactly 2800 gold and 400 exp per fight. It shouldn't very depending on levels because the "Scale fight lvls" thing was removed. Hope it works for you and enjoy!!!!!
Go to the cinemech and then get prizes until u can't. Then go change the date on computer.(Does not matter what date,as long as you can remember the previous date)
then go to the cinemech to get more credits and maybe some nova gems!
go to assault mecha id number 3 its artix. defeat him and you get 630 credits this is only for money not exp you only get 70 exp
Go to planet yokai and get the ninja uniform with the yokai blade. Then travel to the planet necryptos and go to the crypt. for every one you defeat in the crypt you get 100exp and 700gold.
Ok I'm not a Star Captian but it took me days to get where I am at. I'm at level 12 and trust me if you have just started and havent payed for the star captain it'll be a while. (THE HINT: Your first mecha that you get when you start up your game will be fine the cheapest one you can buy will do! What you wanna do is get to level 5. If you can do it by staying on the dropship so be it! If not just battle and repair don't even think about taking the exam yet! Once you hit level 5 you should have saved your money, In the event that you didn't you'll need to!!! You want to save up to 12500 credit, Then you can buy a better mecha NUBERTRON
Go to the universiti(have to have a mecha that hits at least 20 and hp at least 140)go to the spider web which is right beside the fountain when you land.Fight the giant spider and get 500 credits and 80 exp per win!!!
Get the geekatron mech from planet zargon or what ever it is...then buy incredible disrupter(arm) and incredible scanner blade(head) use them in sequence with geekatron and youll get +20 dmg! Do same but with incredible rockets/duel strike(both shoulder weps) instead of disrupter and your health will regenerate it's self!!! If you use incredible cluster bombs(arm) instead of disrupter duelstrike and missles you will get +30 defence! Note you have to use one of those then incredible scanner blade(helm) then geekatrons special move.
In the Knife and Spork, to get there you have to head left of Tek's Mechs, then you will reach the two places of Cinemech, and Mecharoni, just head left again, you should be at the Hospital, head left one last time, and then head into the Knife and Spork,(I suggest you be pretty strong) and then get to challenge 6, complete it, and you will be making 10,000 credits each time you win that challenge.
Ok there are lots of ways to get money in mechquest but here are the ones most people arent doing.
Ok first off get a job at the pizza place. Now do everything on there and get up to 20/20 rank. You should have a bit of money. Now go get a job at the Police. Get it up to 32/32.l now you should have a bit more cash. You should be around level 6 to 9 by now. Now I suggest when you get to level 5 get a better mecha. Use this mecha until level 8. At level 8 buy the level 8 mecha in the right hand side pop-up thing. This will be your mecha what you use for a while until you get to a higher level. Ok after you have 20/20 at the pizza place and 32/32 at the police we can now start with the hospital. Get your hospital rank to 32/32 and you are strating to gain some good money. Now after you have done all of this. Go to the university and choose a house. I reccommend Wolfblade. Now do the Blue Labyrinth mission. Heres a tip for that. When you die you keep all the experience and money youve eraned so you can keep dieing and fighting and oyu'll be getting your cash up really quickly. Now you can start doing this until you get to level 13. At level 13 go to Teks Mech's and go downstairs. If you've sold your starting mech buy it again. After you've bought it there a minigame you can play downstars which will give you a gold token. When you get the gold token go to the shop and mereg the token with your starting mech to get the gilded newbatron. This has 215 hp and really strong attacks. I have this mech right now and the maximum hit I've done is a 108. The average hit is 32 though. Now start doing the quest which dean warlic gives you and do them. You should be able to do them all without dieing. If you do die your doing it all wrong. After you have done all of this start on the ghosthunting, museum and all the gears university classes.
I hope this helped you.
First play autopsy in the hospital thaen try to raech level 10 or higher.
JOIN A house on GEARS!! WOLF-BLADE will be better then play the mission and read the instructions. Youll know what to do.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By now, you can enter the Museum on the far side of town (to the right). Inside, you'll see a girl named Val. Talk to her and offer to help her. You'll be able to do three missions (which, in order to complete the fossil, or atleast be able to enter the shops, you'll have to redo...alot...). I recomend going in the order, but that's just me. But before you even start one, hit the weapon rack and pick up the strongest weapon you can use. (If your like me and don't have the Star Captain-thingamawhosits, and not finished with the Dojo, it's prolly the Kama.) Grab it, make SURE your mech is alright, has the right weapons, repaired, ect., then head to the first Temple (Que 'Indiana Jones' music.
To start it off, just head to the right. The next scene will be safe, you'll just see a temple over the tree tops. The last one, though, you'll encounter (more than likely) your first Dino-Mech. Just fight it like normal and, after it's defeated, head up, like your trying to go into the temple. You will now be outside your Mech. Head up the stairs (3 different scenes) and enter the room at the top. Now, there will be fists falling out of the celing. Clicking 'Hint' will tell you where and when to run, so be on guard. After the first fist drops, the third will, closely followed by the second. After the second one heads up, run for the spot under the third. Wait a moment, and don't freak when it looks like it's going to fall. The final fist should finally head up and you can head into the next room. Now, you have to avoid giant swinging blocks of stone. It's easier than it looks. Those 3 areas kinda set off? Once the blocks look as back as they can go, head out and duck into the first one and keep doing that until you get to the next room. Your almost done! In the background, you should see what looks like a block of Ice. Infront of you, one of thoes ugly (or cute, depending on your taste) Shadowscythe Piolts. Hopefully, you grabbed a weapon off the Weapon's Rack, or else, you'll be fighting this thing with that flimsy little sword. After the fight, click on the Ice Cube, and pat yourself on the back. Congrats. You beat the Jungle Temple. One down, 2 to go...and don't worry, you'll be coming back to visit...alot...
Head Right, like the last one, and fight the Mech waiting at the Temple entrence. Once you enter, head left and you'll see a bunch of holes in the floor (don't worry, you can't fall through them). Just keep going because flames shoot up from the ground, going all the way across. Their really easy to avoid, as they start near the middle of the room anyway, but a bad start can have you doing it over. After you make it to the next room, fight the Invaders Piolet and you'll have to 'Touch the hottest flame.' You want the middle one, because touching the others will send a bunch of flaming arrows at you and you'll have to start over at the begining of the temple. The middle will the wall walls close in on you with spike. DO NOT MOVE. This part I cannot stress enough. Stay in that exact spot, because soo, the block above you will start to fall and it'll end up making the other walls stop moving. Ypu've made it through the Desert Temple. Click the button, get your prize and prepare for the Ocean Temple.
This one is a bit different from the other two in a few ways. Read what Val has to say and you'll see what the first one is. Yes. You'll be navagating the deep blue in a yellow, duck shaped, Submarine. As if that isn't just fantastic, you also have to avoid a sea of jellyfish of various sizes that will come up from the bottom of the screen. Once they get close enough, they'll change course from stright up, to whatever direction your in. But they only move in a diagnal and once they start moving, they don't change course again. Anyway, after you survive the swarm (hopefully, your good with a mouse) You'll have to fight...A GIANT SQUID THINGY!!!
Okay attacks, he only regens 5 energey per turn, but then again, his attacks don't cost that much... Anyway, chop him up and serve him for dinner! Anyway, after you get rid of his shell and he scurries away, head to the right and you'll be outside a shell that houses the temple you need to enter. Don't worry, as Val says, the air is breathable, so click go and head in. No traps in here, just continue right and you'll soon be facing the Shadowscythe Piolt again. You know the drill, kick his butt and move on. Head right twice more and you'll see a shell with a few tentacles attached. Just as you try to take your hard earned prize...Val rings you up. He's baaaack...
Kathool Adept (no shell)
Almost the same, but not quite, but luckly, your at 100%. Just becareful, because he can use an attck that'll spit ink at you and cause you to freeze for a bit. After you beat him (seriously, I hope you do. If you don't, you gotta start ALL OVER. From the Sub, to the first fight with him. Luckly, no Shadowscythe) collect your prize. Temple complete. Now, head back to the Museum and start all over. Your going to know these temples like the back of your hand by the time you complete Triceratops Skeleton.
