Turning Stolen Items into Non-Stolen Items
To do this you must take any stolen items you have to a merchant (fence) that buys stolen merchandise and sell them it. Then without exiting the 'Buy/Sell' screen go back to the 'Buy' option and scroll down to 'Sold Items' and buy the item back for the same amount you sold it. Doing this will take off the red hand 'Stolen' icon from the item.
