I know, I know, and now I feel stupid. Those of you here who already knew that and were here for something else are probably laughing at me right now, but I don't care. At least now I can tell you the right answer.

You actually have to get one less than the next highest score on the weekly leaderboard - which means you're almost-beating someone else's score, one of your neighbors', not your own.

Sorry about that! Hope you had more luck with this answer, this actually being right.
