The out post typhon I can not descend from 40 to 41 it says I've been washed by a sense of dread and can't go further I have made it to 245 on all others out post

i got that same thing but im a level 367 and i was on level 42 in the dungen. i was trying to get to 43 and it said that. so i looked around and i killed everything else there on that level and i came back to the stares and i was able to. not sure if this would help or not.
I got stuck there too and i'm a level 250, i just Descend 1 and got past. Should work just press ctrl shift and ~ at the same time a a question mark will apear then write Descend 1. Should work
it was telling me that when i hadn't beaten the quests you get from the people in the temple of fate, after i beat those it let me go past without the cheat
You are unable to descend to the level that the realm quest is located on (43) until you have returned all the hero items from that realm to the respective statue. So for example, you would have to find all of the argonauts armory in order to descend to Typhon 43
I've went back & started at the beginning of that dungeon to see if I missed some of the hero armor but I never came across anymore and still can't get to level 42....
Descend 1 works fine with me! And thats ryt you should finish all the quest that people of fate request so you could pass!
You need to get all the hero items before you can advance to the next lvl
