Developer Mode Codes

Start the game with the -DEVMODE command line parameter by making a shortcut to the game on your desktop. Right click the shortcut and edit the properties putting in the -DEVMODE option and clicking 'OK' before the end. Then during gameplay press one of the following keys to activate the corresponding effect. In developer mode ALL levels will be unlocked.

Decrease Speed:
- (minus)

Increase Speed:
= (equals)

Give 999 Ammuntion:
O

Give ALL Weapons:
P

Toggle 'bgod' Mode:
Backspace

Toggle 1st and 3rd Person View:
F1

Move to Next Checkpoint:
F2

Create Spawn Point:
F3

Togle No Clip (fly through walls):
F4

Return to Default Speed:
F5

Save Curent Positon:
F9

Load Current Positon:
F10

Toggle Extra Information:
F11

Cheats for the DEMO version od Far Cry

Set armor (demo version)
Use Notepad to edit "\Scripts\Default\Gamerules.lua" file. Find the line with "armor = 0;" string and change the value to 255. Save the changes and run the game. You should always backup any files you change in case you make a mistake or it mucks up your game.

Invincibility (demo version)
Use Notepad to edit "\Scripts\Default\Gamerules.lua". You should always backup any files you change in case you make a mistake or it mucks up your game. Find the following line:

ai_to_player_damage = { 1, 1, 1, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5 }

and change it to:

ai_to_player_damage = { 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 }

Save the changes, and run the game.

Use Notepad to edit "\Scripts\Default\Entities\Weapons.lua" file. You should always backup any files you change in case you make a mistake or it mucks up your game. Find the line with "loacal unlimitedAmmo = 0;" string and change the value to 1. Save the changes and run the game.

Dont get hurt!

Use notepad to edit the "Gamerules.lua" file in the same folder as the previous cheat. Then look for the line:
"ai_to_player_damage = 1, 1, 1, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5"

And change the line so all of the numbers are 0
Example: "0, 0, 0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0".

Always make a backup before editing files

Unlimited Ammo

Use Notepad to edit
"\\Scripts\\Default\\Entities\\Weapons\\BasicWeapon.lua"
look for entry "local unlimitedAmmo =0"
change it to read "local unlimitedAmmo =1"
Click "file" and "save"
