Having a tough time? Then read this.

Save your game and load it as the nation you´re at war with and dispand all their armies. THAT´S NOT EVEN CHEATING!

Save your game and load it as the nation you want to take over. Then you go to the diplomacy... Thing, enter diplomacy mode with your nation and press at the far bottom of the scroll, "Sell Province" and choose the province you want to add to your Empire. Can be repeated every month but the capital cannot be sold so you have to take that one by force.
