Cry of Fear Cheats and Tips

The following secret rooms can be used to change costumes or equip items and weapons.

Secret Room #1

When you have seen the black figure walk away at the beginning of Chapter 1 enter the first door on the left.

Secret Room #2

Search for a wrecked red car at the beginning of Chapter 6 and then enter the trap door that is next to it. This room allows you to regain items and weapons that were lost after the train crash.

Complete the game under the indicating setting to unlock the corresponding feature.

Nightmare Mode:

Complete the game.

Doctor Mode:

Complete the game.

Nightvision:

Complete Doctor mode.

Hidden Package:

Complete the game with the fourth ending.

Unlimited Ammunition (FAMAS):

Complete the game under the Nightmare difficulty setting.

Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding item.

Camera:

Complete the game in under 2.5 hours.

Simon's Book:

Complete the game with an 'S' rank on the Nightmare difficulty setting

David Leatherhoff's Axe:

In the 'Heaven' level, enter the code '26-16-4-27-49-2-32-45-12-23' to get the axe, then use it on a Twitcher.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding item of clothing will become available.

Afraid of Monsters Hoodie:

Collect from the table in Harbor College in Chapter 4, then complete the game.

Awesome Hoodie:

Watch ALL 5 endings.

Black Metal Hoodie:

Complete the game with the first ending.

Camo Hoodie:

Complete the game with the second ending.

Custom Hoodie:

Unlock ALL the other hoodies.

David Leatherhoff Hoodie:

Complete the game with the fifth ending.

Half Life Creations Hoodie:

Collect from a room at the Apartments in Chapter 1, then complete the game.

Hello Kitty Hoodie:

Examine the dead cat in the vents in Chapter 4 until a message appears then complete the game.

Mod DB Hoodie:

Collect from the kitchen of an apartment in Chapter 3 before the rooftops then complete the game.

Sick Simon Hoodie:

Complete the game with the fourth ending.

Team Psykskallar Hoodie:

Complete the game with the third ending.

Twitcher Hoodie:

Kill a Twitcher enemy by using David Leatherhoff's axe in the 'Heaven' level.
