Free Transfers:

Offer as much as possible for the player you want then Wait until the club accepts your offer and Click on 'Offer Contract. On the contract negotiaton page click on the left hand menu and then on 'News' which is under the managers name. Then click on the player and withdraw the bid and immediatley reoffer �0. Then using the back button go back to the 'Contract Negotiation' screen and offer a contract and if the player accepts you will get him for free.

Get Wayne Rooney:

To do this you must become the manager of Everton at the start of the game and release Wayne Rooney on a free. The board allows you to do this because he is only 16, you then approach him from your team.
