This is sneaky cheat that will save you a lot of time. Go to where the game is located on your computer and locate the following folder.

Open 'config.cfg' and find 'cheat_points' and change the number next to it to '30'. Doing this will unlock ALL the cheats in the game without having to collect Intel.
When you reach the following ranks in Multiplayer mode the indicated effect will become enabled in the game.

There is a total of 30 intel pieces scattered throughout the game which you collect to unlock extra features in the game. The list below tells you how many Intel pieces are in each level.

This hidden mission becomes unlocked when you have viewed ALL the credits at the end of the normal game.
When you have completed the game once these features will automatically become unlocked. To access the 'Cheat' menu go to the 'Options' screen during gameplay.

To insert the following codes, open the Call of Duty 4 folder and right-click-drag it to your desktop. Then click create shortcut. Then right-click the shortcut and click properties. Then in the target box type this at the end( +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0 )
Enable the console from the in-game options.
Now you don't have type anything in to enable the cheats I give you.

cg_drawgun - Drop your gun
cg_fov - Zoom with any gun
cg_LaserForceOn 1 - Laser site with any gun
demigod - God Mode (with shaking screen)
give (item) - Acquire any item
give all - Get any weapon
give ammo - Full ammo
god - God Mode (without screen shaking)
jump_height # - Adjust gravity (39 is default)
noclip - No Clipping
notarget - Dumb AI
are_fullbright - Brighter features
timescale # - Adjust the time (1.00 is default)
ufo - No Clipping (II)

You were supposed to put a space and then a 1
The set default is 0
Enable the console and type in
Seta thereisacow "1337" and press enter
Now type in
Sf_use_ignoreammo and press enter again
Now you should be able to fire without having to reload
