Not much to say really... I hope it is clear, and accurate with some information you find useful! First off we have the Table of Contents. To jump to any section of the guide press CTRL+F then copy and past the symbol next to the section you want. But if you use the whole line your search will not come up with anything. Some sections have multiple codes, such as the mineral list. This is done so the code found in the table of contents leads directly to the section. The secondary codes found within the walkthrough work just as well, they just keep the guide better organized. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Table of Contents { TOC } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ { TOC } Table of Contents { TOM } Table of Maps { VERS } Versions {MINOVR} Mineral Overview {EXCAVT} Excavating Mini-Guide {SPECOV} Spectrobes Overview (Your Partners) {EQPCBT} Equipment Combat and the CH Meter { TLES } The Incubator, Spectrobe Training, and Evolution {WKTHRU} Start of the walkthrough { #1# } Starting Out { #2# } Back at HQ { #3# } Upsilon Cube and the Card-Input Machine { #4# } Finding the Lost Professor { #5# } Cyrus' Dilemma { #6# } HQ Overthrow! { #7# } Ziba's Moons { #8# } Spaceship Speculation { #9# } The Table Top Mountains { #10# } Adding the Final Keystone { #11# } The Himuro Mystery { #12# } The Red Spring (Obtaining the Fire Geo) { #13# } Meido. { #14# } The Final Battle {ULTSP1} *Obtaining the Geos, Vortex tournament Method {ULTSP2} *Obtaining the Geos, Card input machine method {GEOMSC} *Miscellaneous Geo Information {EVOLVE} Nessa Area 2 and the Evolve Mineral Vortex {CRDINT} Card-Input Machine Guide { DANA } Danapod Spawn { MME } Mossapod, Messapod and Emerald Locations { INK } Inkapod Spawn {RUBIES} Finding Rubies, and Sapphires { GOLD } *The Fabled Gold Mineral {EXCEVO} *How to Excavate Evolve Minerals! {T/U/C } *Finding the Titanium, Uranium and Chrome Minerals {CHROMA} *The Chromas {DUPING} Duplicating Spectrobes {CUBES } Cube List {MINERL} Mineral chart {MSAMLA} Max stats and Max leveling a spectrobe {TROBES} Spectrobes List {CREDIT} Credits and Such * Indicates sections that require you to beat the game ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Table of Maps { TOM } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ { MAP1 } The Ship and Lab { MAP2 } Daichi Area 1 { MAP3 } Kolin HQ { MAP3.1} Kolin Shoping Area { MAP3.2} Kolin Museum Plaza { MAP3.3} Kolin's Museum { MAP4 } Genshi Area 1 { MAP5 } Nessa Area 1 { MAP6 } Nessa Area 3 (and Ruins) { MAPN2 } Nessa Area 2 { MAP7 } Ziba Area 1 { MAP8 } Ziba Area 2 { MAP9 } Ziba Area 3 { MAP10 } Daichi Table Top Mountains { MAP11 } Himuro Central Area {MAP11.1} Himuro West (and West Temple) {MAP11.2} Himuro East (and East Temple) {MAP11.3} Himuro Central Temple { MAP12 } Genshi Area 2 { MAP13 } Meido. {MAP13.1} Meido Underground. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Versions { VERS } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Version 2.10: -Added: - Max stats and Max leveling a spectrobe section Version 2.01: Updated the list of sites this guide can be found on Version 2.0: You could say that my drive to complete the guide was rekindled after finding out about the announcement for a Spectrobes sequel. The basic minerals are as follows: /\ / \ / \ /______\ Pyramid shaped minerals denote attack minergy Yellow pyramid +8 attack Green pyramid +16 attack Pink pyramid +24 attack Purple pyramid +32 attack ____ | | | | | | |____| Rectangular minerals denote defence minergy Yellow +8 defence Green +16 defence Pink +24 defence Purple +32 defence ______ / _ \ / / \ \ \/ | | | | /\ / / | \__/ / \ ____ / Crescent moon shaped minerals denote HP minergy Yellow +8 health Green +16 health Pink +24 health Purple +32 health The in game naming system uses letters instead of colors though. So, the minerals I have just shown you would be named: Power c = Yellow pyramid Power B = Green pyramid Power A = Pink pyramid Power A+ = Purple pyramid The Rectangular and crescent moon shaped minerals also follow the same pattern only they are called "Defence" and "Health" instead of power. Later in the game, some minerals will appear as if they are combined, such as Onyx, and Zicron. These minerals have one black mineral accompanied by another mineral which is pink or purple. They offer increases of up to 40 in their particular minergy, but will subtract up to 16 off of the minergy that appears as the color black. In addition to these minerals, you will see rarer minerals like platinum, pearl, sapphire, emerald and gold. They will increase all disciplines of minergy by a small amount; but will sell for 3500 10,000 15,000 20,000 and 100,000 Garu. Another interesting type of mineral are the Chroma minerals; although they are not available until after you have beaten the game they hold a unique effect. They allow you to change the color of your Spectrobes! Chroma 1: Reverts a Spectrobe to its original color Chroma 2: Changes color to Custom Color 1" Chroma 3: Changes color to Custom Color 2" And they look something like this: Chroma 1 Chroma 2 Chroma 3 _ __ /_\ |__| __ / \ / \ / \ <| |> \ __ / | | \__ / |__| \ __ / \_/ Finally, the last types of minerals are, perhaps the most useful. They come in both yellow and green, and their names and stat increases are listed in that order. Agate/Lazuli Fluorite/Coral Jade/Amber /\ / \ /\ /\ ______ /____\ | \ / | / __ \ | | | \___/ | / / \ _\ | | \ / | / / \ |______| \ / | | / / \ / | | | \_\ __ / \ / | | \______/ \/ |_____| +8 atk/def +8 HP/Def +8 HP/Atk +16 atk/def +16HP/Def +16 HP/Atk For more information on minerals, you can visit the minearl list section of the guide you can use the code given in the table of contents, or this one {MINRS} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Excavating mini-guide {EXCAVT} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is, like it is said a short guide on excavation. Once your spectrobe has detected a Sparkly Spot on the ground, you need to touch it with your stylus. This will take you into the next menu. Here, you find what resembles dirt on the majority of the screen. Your object is to uncover whatever happens to be in the ground; be it fossil, mineral, or cube without destroying it. Upon successful completion you will receive experience points, the item itself, and if applicable a custom part. In addition to this, what you excavate also depends on the planet you are on, and the point in the game you are currently at. Once you enter the screen, you will see a globe in the middle left hand side of the top screen with X ft. Where the X is, is the number of times you need to touch the bottom screen before you can begin excavating the mineral. For example, if it says 2 ft, you will need to touch the bottom screen twice before your mineral/fossil appears. After you have seen the first of the mineral/fossil, your percentage excavated will begin to increase as you continue to uncover more of it. Once you have uncovered 95% of the object, you will be able to pick it up; you can do this by pressing the Pick Up button near the bottom right of the touch screen. Leveling up your excavation level: From Level 1 to 2 requires 1500 EXP From Level 2 to 3 requires 5000 EXP From level 3 to 4 requires 15000 EXP From level 4 to 5 requires 30000 EXP From level 5 to 6 requires 60000 EXP Leveling up your excavation level has a very useful effect. It will allow you to excavate an object at a much faster pace. Furthermore, it will also do alot less damage to the object when using tools such as the large drill. Tools ````` There are several different types of tools available for excavating; and most can be purchased at the Excavating Tool shop on Kolin. Drill L. - the most powerful of the drills; it will quickly excavate and clear anything it comes into contact with. Be forewarned, it does the most damage to the object being excavated. Drill M. - The same concept as the Drill L; it will excavate objects at a reasonable rate, and but will do much less damage to the object Drill S. - Perhaps the best tool to use throughout the game, it does minimal damage, and excavates the objects at a slower, but much more accurate, and safer speed. Giga Tool - This is an amazing tool, but it has its limitations. Any mineral that you have excavated successfully will be automatically excavated with this tool. Be warned though, you will receive no experience for using it, and it will NOT work on fossils. It also destroys any mineral you have no successfuly excavated before. Solvent- An interesting tool; it will dissolve the excess debris found on the object, but it is slow. Holding it above a single area for a long time will damage a fossil/mineral. Blast- The blast tool works best when your objects are buried deep. It does exponential damage to the object in question, and works only both fossils and mienrals. The higher your excavation level is the greater your chances of success. You recieve no experience for using this tool. Blower- this tool will blow all loose debris off of an object; this is very useful when you are trying to excavate fossils at 100% completion and very little damage, because it reduces the need to overlap on an area. Sonic- this tool works just like the blower, only it uses the microphone to remove the loose debris. Blow onto the microphone to use the tool, the harder you blow the faster debris is removed. Recovery- it will reduce approximately 1/10 (10%) of the total damage bar from your current amount of damage done. It is also very useful for obtaining custom parts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spectrobes Overview (your partners) {SPECOV} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These, are your partners you battle with against the Krawl. They come in many different shapes, sizes and colours. Spectrobes even have a variety of custom parts that can be found! Baby Spectrobes ``````````````` They are, as their title dictates the smallest, and weakest spectrobes. You cannot take them into battle with you, but they follow you around throughout the game. You can only have one of these in your party at a time. Choosing the right baby spectrobe is important, because they have many different qualities. Some of them can only find certain types of spectrobes, and some cannot find minerals. Here is a list of all Baby spectrobes that can find both minerals, and fossils aswell as their scan range. --------------- |Spectrobe|Range| |---------|-----| |Masetto | 2 | |---------|-----| |Segu | 3 | |---------|-----| |Spiko | 3 | |---------|-----| |Komainu | 3 | |---------|-----| |Shapod | 3 | |---------|-----| |Zoza | 3 | |---------|-----| |Bartor | 3 | |---------|-----| |Samukabu | 3 | |---------|-----| |Tenkro | 3 | |---------|-----| |Vilar | 4 | |---------|-----| |Dongor | 4 | |---------|-----| |Kubaku | 4 | |---------|-----| |Messa | 4 | |---------|-----| |Mossari | 4 | |---------|-----| |Inkana | 5 | |---------|-----| |Aoi | 5 | |---------|-----| |Grilda | 5 | |---------|-----| |Danawa | 6 | --------------- Other notable Baby Spectrobes include Nagu, who has a range of 6, but cannot find minerals aswell as Harumi and Geji who have a range of 7, but are unable to find fossils. Adult, and Evolved Spectrobes ````````````````````````````` These, are the spectrobes you can take into battle with you. In order to obtain them, you need to have access to the lab, and place baby Spectrobes in the incubators for a set period of time, and fulfill certain requirements with their statistics. There is, however a way to avoid the need to train a Spectrobe to get it to evolve. This is through the use of an Evolve Mineral. These can be found on Nessa (Planet 4) Area Two by going to the large black vortex that does not move, and completing a 30 round tournament, upon finishing all the rounds you are awarded with said mineral. After beating the game, there is another much easier way to obtain Evolve minerals, they can be excavated in the ground, there is a section in the TOC dedicated to finding this mineral. Another interesting aspect of these Spectrobes, is their ability to equip custom parts. For starters, custom parts can be found by excavating a Spectrobe fossil and doing little to no damage to it. You can tell you received a custom part if there is a O across from Custom Part after completing excavation. There is two custom parts for both the Adult, and Evolved Spectrobes. The only effect they have is to aesthetically alter your spectrobes. The next important tidbit of information is a Spectrobes alignment. Each Spectrobe, and all opponents for that matter have their own alignment. There is three different ones. Corona, Flash and Aurora. They also have certain strength and weaknesses. They are as follows: Corona > Aurora Aurora > Flash Flash > Corona All Spectrobes and enemy Krawls alignment can be determined by their color. Corona is red, Flash is blue and Aurora is green. Finally, Rallen can have up to six of these Spectrobes in your party at any time. Two of them, will appear in battle with you. The other four will act as support, and provide increases in speed, attack, charging the CH meter, and defence. Note: You can switch them around by going to the lab, and selecting the line up function. Or, whilst in the field if your press X, go to battle set and touch Spectrobes. You can switch them around there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Equipment and Combat {EQPCBT} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rallens Equipment ``````````````````` Perhaps the least important aspect of battles is the equipment Rallen has. New equipment can be purchased normally after defeating a boss Krawl. You can find the equipment shop by entering NPP HQ, going up until the screen changes, moving down to the bottom of the next screen and turning to the right. Here you will find a man selling the equipment! This is a list of all different types of equipment, their price, and the stats they increase. Gloves `````` -------------------------------------------------------- |Name | Stat increase | Cost | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Grasp Gloves | Defence +40 | 50 Garu | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Grip Gloves | +75 | 100 Garu | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Power Gloves | +100 | 300 Garu | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Hyper Gloves | +125 | 500 Garu | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Intense Gloves | +145 | 1000 Garu| |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Voltage Gloves | +160 | 1250 Garu| |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Delta Gloves | +190 | 1500 Garu| |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Sigma Gloves | +220 | 2000 Garu| |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Omega Gloves | +250 | 2500 Garu| -------------------------------------------------------- Swords `````` -------------------------------------------------------- |Name | Stat increase | Cost | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Heat sword | Attack +20 | 100 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Spark sword | +30 | 250 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Speed sword | +40 | 600 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Sabre sword | +50 | 1000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Plasma sword | +60 | 2000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Hyper sword | +70 | 2500 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Delta sword | +80 | 3000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Sigma sword | +90 | 4000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Omega sword | +100 | 5000 G | -------------------------------------------------------- Blasters ```````` -------------------------------------------------------- |Name | Stat increase | Cost | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Double Blaster | Power +5 | 500 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Ray Blaster | +10 | 1200 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Triple blaster | +10 | 4000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Homing blaster | +10 | 4000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Photon blaster | +15 | 6000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Shatter blaster | +20 | 8000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Tracking blaster| +20 | 8000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Hyper blaster | +20 | 8000 G | |----------------|----------------------|----------------| |Rupture blaster | +30 | 10000 G | -------------------------------------------------------- Note: Power refers to roughly the amount of damage done to enemies. Suits ````` ------------------------------------------------------------------- |Name | Stat increase | Cost | Alignment| |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Durable suit | HP +80 | 2500 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Armed suit | +100 | 5000 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Power suit | +150 | 7500 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Scalar suit | +200 | 10000 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Scalar suit C | +200 | 12500 G | Corona | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Scalar suit A | +200 | 12500 G | Aurora | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Scalar suit F | +200 | 12500 G | Flash | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Energy suit | +300 | 15000 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Resist suit | +400 | 18000 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Vector suit | +450 | 20000 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Vector suit C | +450 | 25000 G | Corona | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Vector suit A | +450 | 25000 G | Aurora | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Vector suit F | +450 | 25000 G | Flash | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Armor Gear suit | +500 | 35000 G | None | |----------------|----------------------|----------------|----------| |Plate Gear suit | +550 | 50000 G | None | ------------------------------------------------------------------- Alignment can be used to determine what type of attacks the suit is strong against and weak against. If your suit is strong against an alignment you will recieve less damage, and if it is weak against one it will take more damage. Neutral suits ('None' under alignment) will recieve normal damage from all types of attacks. The strength and weaknessess are the same as they are for spectrobes: Corona > Aurora Aurora > Flash Flash > Corona Suits also have different colors depending on alignment. Corona is red, Aurora is green and flash is blue. Same goes for your Spectrobes and all enemy Krawl. Equipping Your Equipment ``````````````````````` To equip new equipment, all you need to do is follow these steps: First, press X, then move to the box that has the words "Battle Set" underneath it. Touch the box, or press A. Now, you will see two options. One is entitled "Rallen" the other, "Spectrobes," touch the one called "Rallen." Now, at the top of the screen you see stats on the left and right sides. On the left, you see what your currently equipped equipment is increasing your stats by, on the right you find your total stats. At the top of the right side, you see how much Garu you have, and near the bottom you can see your excavating level. On the bottom screen there is 5 options on the upper part. From left to right they are Gloves, Swords, Blasters, Suits, Healing item. Touch the one you wish to change. Then drag it onto the green and red person close to the right side of the bottom screen and drop it onto it. You should now see an E in the top right corner of the item you wanted to equip, and the stats as well as how Rallen looks will change depending on the item equipped. Note that: You cannot see healing items you have equipped on Rallen, it will however appear across the bottom of the top screen. Basics in Combat ```````````````` First, and most important, keep Rallen out of trouble. The bosses can easily tear him apart, especially in early game. There is several things you can do to keep Rallen safe. 1- Use your spectrobes as walls. It sounds cruel but it works, you can tell some spectrobes to "stay" and they won't move, so you just stand behind them and you won't get hit. 2- Use your glove weapon. They knock back enemy Krawl if you get in close with them. 3- Healing items and spectrobes with 'healing attacks' can keep Rallen alive through the worst beatings and they can keep your spectrobes alive should they take too much damage. 4- If you're not fighting a boss, run away using the select button. Next, is knowing your enemies. For all leader Krawl I've constructed a pretty good mini-guide on beating that boss and the best way to do it, but you also need to know your basic enemy Krawl. As a general rule, Corona Krawl are red, Aurora Krawl are green, and Flash Krawl are blue. The same rule applies to your Spectrobes. Using this chart you can determine what kind of spectrobe will be good to fight against what krawl, and what spectrobes aren't. Corona > Aurora Aurora > Flash Flash > Corona For example, my Corona Spectrobe would be a good match against a Flash Krawl, but my Corona Spectrobe would be a bad match against an Aurora Krawl. Finally, Spectrobes have different kinds of attacks, some of them are long range and some of them are short range. As a general rule, Short range/melee attacks are more powerful, but long range attacks are safer to use because they keep you out of harms way. There is also 'attacks' that heal you, or your allied spectrobes depending on how you aim the attack. Another important aspect of combat is effective use of the CH meter, which is explained below. The CH meter can be use for launching your Adult/Evolved Spectrobes Special Attack. The amount required to launch this attack depends on the spectrobe. You can find a description of your Spectrobes special attack by pressing X in game, and going to the status menu, then touching the Spectrobe in question, and finally pressing the L or R button. This opens up a tab on the bottom of the top screen giving a name, CH cost, and description of the attack. These attack often do much more damage, and have much more interesting animations than the normal attacks featured by the Spectrobes. Another important use of this meter comes into play much later in the game, after obtaining the flame geo. First, you must make sure you have a Geo equipped. You can do this by pressing X, going to Battle Set, Rallen, touching the icon on the far right of the list and selecting one of them. To use a Geo you need to have 3 sections of the gauge full. Then, you need to press Y, and then X. There will be a short animation and 400+ damage will be done to all opponents. Note that the damage will vary depending on the alignment of both your Geo, and the enemies. Healing Items ````````````` In addition to the equipment, Rallen also has the ability to use recovery items during battle. Although, most can be obtained with relative ease from battle, they can be purchased in larger quantities. They can be purchased from the items shop on Kolin. See { MAP3.11} (this is a secondary code). -------------------------------------------------- |Name | HP Healed | Cost | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Basic serum | HP +50 | 500 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Deluxe serum | +150 | 1000 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Super serum | +250 | 2000 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Total serum | +Max | 2500 G | -------------------------------------------------- -Serums will only heal your Spectrobes -------------------------------------------------- |Name | HP Healed | Cost | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Basic antidote | Hp +25 | 2000 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Deluxe antidote | +50 | 5000 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Super antidote | +100 | 10000 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Total antidote | +200 | 15000 G | -------------------------------------------------- -Antidotes heal both your Spectrobes, and Rallen -------------------------------------------------- |Name | HP Healed | Cost | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Rescue antidote | N/A | 200 G | |-----------------|----------------|---------------| |Revive serum | +Max | 30000 G | -------------------------------------------------- -Rescue Antidotes relieve the party of stun and confusion (Cannot be obtained from battle) -Revive Serum will completely heal all Spectrobes; Even the ones that have been knocked out. (Cannot be obtained from battle) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Incubator, Spectrobe Training, and Evolution { TLES } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here you will learn about how to train, level up, evolve, and equiping custom parts to your spectrobes! Training your spectrobes can be done in two ways. First, you can feed them minerals in the incubator, or second you can fight your adult and evolved spectrobes in battle. Unfortunately, in order to evolve your spectrobes you need to let them sit in the incubator for a period of time after meeting their statistical requirements. More information on required stats can be found in the Spectrobes list. Second, each spectrobe has a maximum amount that their stats can be trained. Once you reach the maximum for a particular stat the bar will turn light blue. The same light blue effect will occur on all stats when your spectrobe reaches level 128 regardless of their stats because that is their maximum level. Note that once a spectrobe has maxed out a stat, or reached level 128 they will continue to eat minerals but it will have no effect on their stats. The minerals will just be wasted. The same thing happens when an evolved spectrobe eats an evolve mineral and when a spectrobe that is already the color a chroma will change it to eats that chroma. Your minerals will be wasted. The Incubator - Training ```````````````````````` This device is accessed by going to the lab system, found in the bottom of your spacecraft, pressing A on it, rotating around to the object resembling a box, and pressing A again. Then, you can choose an incubator, they are number one through four, each with the ability to hold two spectrobes. To place a spectrobe in the incubator, touch the symbol with the monsters head with the arrows on the top and bottom. Now, select a spectrobe from your party, or one from the list bellow that. Touch it, then drag it into one of the two gray spaces at the top. You now have a spectrobe(s) in your incubator! Now, to feed your spectrobe minerals touch the symbol to the left that resembles a crystal. You will now see all the different minerals you have, touch and drag the ones you want into the long blue box on the top of the bottom screen. You can choose up to five, once you are finished press the button below the EXIT sign. It resembles an arrow with a fork that has a mineral on it. You will return to the incubator screen. Now, drag the minerals you wanted to feed your spectrobes from the blue bar and drop them onto the ground. Your spectrobes will now eat them. When your spectrobe eats a mineral, the black bar below the effected stats will fill up or empty depending on the mineral you give it. Once you completeley fill a bar with green you see a Level Up appear on the stat that you are increasing. You will also see a number on the far left of the bar; this number is the amount your stat has increased from the level up. For example, Vilakroma fills up his entire defence bar and it levels up. Vilakroma will go from 200 to 213 defence because there was a +13 on the left side of that bar. Furthermore, his level will increase from 005 to 006 because he has just leveled up. This can be repeated as many times as you would like, until your stats or level are at their maximum. The maximum stat of a Spectrobe can be determined in a very rough way. Most Baby and Adult Spectrobes stats will cap at about 93-103% of the value of the next evolution stages base stats. For the max stats of a particular evolved spectrobe, look in the 'Max stat and leveling a spectrobe' section. Just remember, to evolve a Spectrobe you need to meet its status requirements AND let it sit in the incubator for a period of time (although there are some exceptions to this). If you are looking to train a monster with very high stats, I would suggest giving it evolution minerals before you begin to train it, as that would give it the best chance of getting the highest stats possible. Combat - Training ````````````````` This method of training and levelling up your spectrobes does not moderate the stats of your spectrobes, instead you receive the same amount of minergy increase for each stat and they will all grow in proportion to each other. Levelling up still works the same way while in combat, once the green bar fills up you will receive a stat increase, and a level will be added onto your spectrobe. The most obvious way of training combat is by running into the black vortexes you find in the field. Upon winning you will receive anywhere from 5-15 minergy depending on your opponents aswell as some Garu, and possibly an item like a serum. Once you have access to the large, immobile "tournament vortexes" you can train your spectrobes much more quickly with combat because you do not have to run around looking for another fight. The rewards are also much nicer, ranging from an evolve mineral to another Geo. Be forewarned though, just training a spectrobes stats is not enough to evolve it, in most cases a spectrobe must sit in the incubator for a period of time before it is ready to evolve. Incubator - Evolving ```````````````````` Recall that: baby spectrobes evolve into adult spectrobes, adult spectrobes evole into evolved spectrobes, and evolved spectrobes do not evolve. You will not be able to get evolved spectrobes through evolution until you have found the Zeta Cube. Furthermore, your spectrobes will not evolve unless you meet or exceed all requirements for your spectrobes evolution. Such requirements can be found in the Spectrobes List later in the guide. When your spectrobe is ready to evolve, there will be 4 blue dots circling around above its head. What you want to do now, it touch your spectrobe with your stylus. You will be taken to another screen with a large egg/cocoon on it. Slide your stylus across the cocoon and your new spectrobe will be born. This new spectrobe will be accompanied by a new look, a different name, and higher stats. Furthermore, you will now require more minergy to level up your stats. This may seem like a bad thing, but the advantage is that you will now have higher stat gains when you level up than your previous stage(s). Note that when you evolve you do not gain or lose your spectrobes level, it remains constant until you start training it again. Incubator - Custom Parts ```````````````````````` Custom parts can only be equipped to your adult and evolved Spectrobes, in order to access the equipment menu, you must have given Aldous your Epsilon Cube. Each adult and evolved spectrobe has two different custom parts, and it also has its original setup, which is technically three combinations. In order to equip your custom you need to be in the incubator with the spectrobe(s) you want to equip custom parts to inside. First, you want to click the wrench with the two arrows on it. Next, touch which spectrobe you want to equip a custom part to. On the next screen is where you choose your custom part you want to eqip. To rotate to other choices simply touch them with your stylus. Once you have chosen, touch the custom part again and then touch the "Enter" button. Your spectrobe will be engulfed in a cocoon. Slide your stylus across it to hatch it. Your Spectrobes name, and appearance will change to suit the part you wanted to equip. You can change parts as many times as you like. Your stats DO NOT change when you equip different custom parts. The Other Uses of the Incubators! ````````````````````````````````` There are a few other things that can occur within any of your incubators. The first, is after you have given the Iota cube to Aldous, you can change the type of incubator your spectrobes are in. You can do this by going into an incubator and touching the button below the custom parts button. It resembles four squares with arrows. After touching it, you are sent to a screen that has four squares, one labelled "normal" and the others "corona" "aurora" and "flash" touch the one you want and it will change! Remember that spectrobes with Corona properties do not like aurora incubators aurora do not like flash incubators, and flash do not like corona incubators. Spectrobes in an incubator they do not "like" will require more time in the incubator to evolve than normal. It will also receive a reduced ammount of minergy from minerals it is field whilst in that environment. But, all spectrobes of the same alignment will be very happy when placed in an incubator that is the same. For example, Corona spectrobes in a Corona incubator. Spectrobes in an incubator of the same alignment as themselves will require less time to evolve than normal. Furthermore, it will receive a bit more minergy from minerals it is fed. The other is Spectrobe "friendship" when two Spectrobes spend a long time in an incubator together they get a large heart between the two when you are in the screen where you can rotate between incubators. The name of the other Spectrobe can also be seen on the bottom of the top screen under the defence stat. The result of this friendship is an increased amount of damage done when you use the Spectrobe CH combination attack. It appears to be an increase of about 50% in terms of how much damage is dealt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Walkthrough! {WKTHRU} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Without further ado, here is the game walkthrough. You will notice, that throughout the guide I will give you a map, and written instruction on how I recommend going through the particular section. The map key will be the following, unless otherwise stated: X = Fossil O = Mineral !!!= Cube (and in most cases, Fossils/Minerals) After most maps, there will be a list of things you can expect to see within the area by excavating fossils, minerals and cubes. When something is labelled as "Screen Change A" it will connect to the next area labelled "A" and vice versa. I do apologize in advance, some of my maps may not be to scale, but I have done the best I could with them, and they should be clear enough to obtain everything you need. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Starting Out { #1# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ship Deck { MAP1 } __________________ | |____1___| | | | | 2 | | | | | |______ _____| |______| |_____| | 3 4 | | | | | | | | | | | |______EXIT_______| 1- Control deck; Change planets here 2- Jeena; Gives you information on what you should do 3- Heal and Save spot 4- Portal to Research Lab EXIT- takes you out of the ship Research Lab __________________ | 1 | | 4 | |2 3| | 3 | | |___| 7 | | 5| | | | | | _____| | | | | ___|____| | | 6 | | | | |_________________| 1- Card Input System 2- Wireless Communication Port 3- Cube list 4- Lab System 5- WIFI 6- Portal to Ship Deck 7- Aldous / Mr. X Note: Not everything will be available at the beginning of the game; but for simplicity sake I have created only one map. In Spectrobes, you will be playing as a character named Rallen! A member of an intergalactic policing association. You are also introduced to Jeena; your assistant who will give you information when it is needed, and Commander Grant; your boss who tells you what to do. Your first mission is to investigate a strange object on Daichi. Here you learn pressing A will allow you to investigate curiosities and talk to other people in the game! Exit your ship. Head directly to the 1" on the top map. Upon arriving you should see a large blue and gold object and to the right a shining spot on the ground. Move up to the spot and press A. Rallen will receive his Prizmod; and you discover a man who will be named Mr. X. Suddenly, a black vortex will come from the top of the screen and engulf Rallen! This will be your first battle. But, before the battle starts the game shows you the battle controls. Once you are ready, press A to continue. For this battle, I suggest lining up the right Spectrobe with your enemies, then pressing the R button. He will spin forward and hit your enemy if you are within range. The right Spectrobe has an attack that allows his to swing his tail in a circle damaging all enemies around him; you can use this by pressing the L button. Back at the ship, Mr. X wakes up, his name is apparently Aldous and he is from a distant galaxy that was destroyed by the Krawl. Checking Spectrobes stats: Press X and go to status, then touch whomever you wish to see information on. Move to the heal/save portal and save the game. Next, head down to the Lab again and talk to Aldous. You will receive a fossil! Move up to the console on the wall and press A. Then touch the globe labelled Awaken. Next, touch the fossil and slide it upwards on the touch screen. Now, to awaken a fossil you need to press start and then sustain a noise (yell, grumble, moan, hiss etc.) above or within the red objects shaped like this: [ and ] After the countdown is completed your Spectrobe will be revived! Exit the awakening screen and move to the Line Up section. On the top of the touch screen you should see an item labelled Search touch it. Then follow the instruction in game. Exit this screen, and the next one by touching exit or pressing B. Talk to Aldous again. Now, you can wander Daichi, the only thing you really need to do is collect about 3 fossils before you can return; but you can excavate as many as youd like. Be sure to pick up a Villipod fossil; as it will have the largest search range of all the Spectrobes you currently have access to. Furthermore, if you are planning on completing the game with close or around 100% of everything, pick up all of the cubes and minerals! If you do not feel like fighting the enemy Krawl, you can run away from a battle by holding down the select button until the white figure on the bottom runs across the screen. Upon winning the battle against the Krawl surrounding professor Wright, you will return to the first map, to the place labelled "5" Here you will learn about custom parts, which can be found by doing little to no damage to a fossil whilst excavating it. There is two available for each adult and evolved Spectrobe; three including their original parts. Once you have returned to the ship, awaken the aopod fossil you received. It will come with a custom part! You can tell if a fossil has a custom part a number of ways. -First, after excavating it if there is an O beside "Custom part" it will have one. -Second, if there is a "P" on the top right of the fossil whilst awakening it, it has a custom part. When you are ready for your next mission move up to the control console in your ship and press A. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cyrus' Dilemma { #5# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You will want to go to "P4" on the planetary display this time. There is a 1 on the above map, and it is the location of said spawn point. Danapod fossils will appear about 40% of the time, the other times it will be a different fossil. So, you may have to try several times to find a Danapod. To find the spawn, you start by taking the south wall from your ship. Follow it all the way through two recessions. At the top of the second recession you should see some large blue stones on the top screen. Walk up to them, then scan the area in between the two southern rocks. The fossil in the top right corner has a 40% chance of being a Danapod. To reset the spot so you can find the Danapod again, use the jet pack to go back to the ship, step into the ship, then go back to the spot. When you are there, use your Jet pack to return to the ship. If you would like to walk through the rest of the ruins, feel free, there is no rush. Once you have arrived back at the ship, heal and save. You should now be using a Danawa as your search spectrobes (Danawa comes out of the Danapod fossil) as it has a larger search range than Villar and Aoi. Next, return to Nessa Area 1 ( { MAP5 } ) and head to Cyrus. He is no doubt excited that you have retrieved his keystone, and in retrun he reluctantly hands over the "rare cube" he promised. Take the cube back to Aldous. The Zeta cube you received from Cyrus will allow you to access the highest level of evolution for your spectrobes. The evolved forms! You can get them the same way you have gotten adult Spectrobes; only the will have higher requirements for evolution. See the Spectrobes list for information on how you can evolve your Spectrobes to the evolved form. Save, and move back to the control console, then press A. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HQ Overthrow! { #6# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It seems the Krawl have chosen Kolin as their next target. The Commander was cut off halfway through his message. There is no real hurry though, I would suggest setting up a full party of adult or evolved spectrobes if you have not already done so. If you do not want to train spectrobes to adult or evolved stages, visit the Card-Input system section of the guide and get several of the Spectrobes there. They are strong enough for now. If you are just looking to get some of your own adult/evolved spectrobes and cannot be bothered with the requirements, take a look at the evolve mineral section. When you are ready, head back to Kolin, which is Planet 3 in the system. Once you have landed on area one, save and exit. Now, you want to go into HQ and then, go to the spot where you first talked to Commander Grant. Revisit { MAP3 } for further details. You will see a large green and red monster in the room. This, is your first boss. The Gyreel and Gyforma ``````````````````````` Before we get into the specifics, allow me to explain the format. I will give you the name of a monster appearing in the battle, then it's HP. You will then see a description of its attack(s) and suggestions on how to deal with them. You can find the names of the enemies on the top screen above their picture. Below this same picture is their Hit points remaining. Note: these are only suggestions, and I am sure there are many different ways to fight the enemies. This is how I would recommend going about it. Gyreel X2: 300 HP ````````````````` Attacks: They will shoot three slow moving purple balls towards you. They move slowly enough that you should will be able to move out of the way with relative ease. They can also heal each other, and Gyforma. But they do so very slowly. You do not need to destroy these unless you are having problems with their purple balls. Gyforma X1: 500 HP `````````````````` Attacks: His attack is also fairly slow, unless you are standing close to him. His attack will engulf him in a red barrier and he will charge forward. The only thing I can recommend is do not stay too close to him for too long, if you need to get up close, attack then move out and repeat. Strategy ```````` To win this battle, you only need to destroy Gyforma. If you have a few well trained Adult or Evolved Spectrobes this should not be a problem. For the battle, I would suggest using individual Spectrobes CH meter attacks because they will do much more damage then their regular attacks and would more effectively cause damage then a CH combination attack. However, if you find your cannot beat Gyforma, just run around the battle field charging your CH meter and unleashing your combination attack until he is finished. Upon winning, Commander Grant thinks the Krawl swarm is definately comming. Aldous and Jeena will come and talk with the Commander. Meanwhile, the museum is now open! Using { MAP3 } { MAP3.1} and { MAP3.2} to make your way to the museum. { MAP3.3} _______ Keystone_______ | |_______| | | | |_____ ******* _____| | ******* | | | | ******* | ____| * * |_____ | | | | |___ __ __ ___| |__| |Exit| |__| When you get there, feel free to look around. When your done, head up to the area marked Keystone and talk to the man on the right. He is Webster, the museum Curator. Webster will tell you he thinks the Keystones are used to power an interstellar spacecraft which can reach the outermost planets named Himuo and Meido. Jeena will intervene in your conversation and tell you to return to HQ, so do as she says. use the maps mentioned previously to get back to Commander Grants room. Once you are back, The Commander will tell you the Krawl you just beat was a leader type and they are only the beginning of what is going to happen. Your new mission is to go to the fifth planet in the system, Ziba and talk to Professor Kate who says she has seen the vortexes. Head back to your ship, heal and save, then go to the control console once again, and press A. You will want to touch the "P5" for the fifth planet this time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ziba's Moons { #7# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, head to Area 1. Once you land, your confronted with the challenge of finding Professor Kate! Well, it should not be too hard, just follow the maps! { MAP7 } _____ | | ___ | | | ______________________________________| | A | | | | | | _______ ______________________ | | |__________________| | | | | | | | |__| | | |______________________ | | | ________| | ___ _ ____________________| | | |___|/ \ _| |__| | | !!!||_ __ | | | |_| | ______________________| |!!!____ | | | |/ x /________| |________________ | | | | | _________________________________| | / | | |/ | ____| |____ | / \ |/ | | | |_____| |____|___________ | \_ | | | | |_______________ Ship | | | | | |____________| Note: "A" connects to the "A" below, but it is not a screen change, it is broken to help the flow of the guide. ____________ / o / __ / \ / \ ____________ / x\ ____/ \________________/ \ \ \ | / oo | \__________ | | | ____________ xo | | | | | |_____ | \ Screen | | !!!|______| / Change | | | / B | | | / | | | _______/ | | | / |_______|_______| / \ ___/________ \ | | ________ | | x | | |_________ | | | | | | | | | ________| | \____ | | ________ | \ | | \ | | | | | | | | _____| | | | o | | | ____ /| |____ | | | / | A \_______| |___/ |______ Ziba Area 1 to Screen Change B - Grilpod - Aopod - Dongopod - Kasupod - Zozapod - Power A - Defence A - Health A - Power B - Defence B - Health B - Agate - Sylvite - Fluorite - Zeta Cube - Theta Cube _____________ _______________________________ / oo| | | / xx| | | | x | | ________ | | | | B |/ ____|__|______________ | ___ | | | | | \_____/ x _____ | | __| | 1 | | | / | ____ ______ | | ____/ |___/ \ x| | | / | |______ |_______|__/ | | | | \!!! o _____________________| \___________| Ziba Area 1 to Screen Change B - Zozapod - Kubapod - Aopod - Power A - Defence A - Health A - Power B - Defence B - Health B - Agate - Onyx - Lambda cube 1: Professor Kate is here It seems that Kate is here doing some extensive research, but the vortexes have halted her advancement, and are actually trying to destroy the planet! To remedy it, Kate will give you a Demag Unit to fix your ship. Jet pack, or walk back to your ship. Heal and save, then talk to Jeena. She will take the Demag Unit and use it to "improve" the ship for Rallen. You now have access to both of Zibas moons! If need be, you can return to the ship and stock up before fighting him, as per usual, there will be strategies on fighting Skiva to follow. Ziba Area 2 Screen B - Grilpod - Kasupod - Dongopod - Health A - Power A - Defence A - Health B - Power B - Defence B - Zircon - Graphite The boss! Skiva, Skeesa and Shaka! Skiva X1 200 HP ``````````````` This Krawl only has one attack, which is a continuos charging motion. Skiva will move around the outsides of the arena and occasionally dash through the middle onto the other side. Fortunately, Skiva does very little damage and is not much of a threat. Skeesa X1 500 HP ```````````````` This is your real target in this battle, as the other two enemy Krawl do not pose a serious threat to your victory. Attacks ``````` Skeesa has three attacks. The first, he will move into the middle of the arena and begin to spin repetitively around in circles. Be careful though, he moves much faster than Rallen can run. His second attack, he will charge around the outside of the arena with Skeesa and Shaka, then randomly, he will charge across the arena back into the center. When he charges into the center, both Skiva and Shaka will follow suit, so be careful that you are not hit three times if your standing in the middle. Shaka X1 220 HP ``````````````` Shaka is the exact same Krawl as the previously mentioned Skiva, only he has a different name. Once again, he poses little threat. Strategy ```````` By now, you should have at least two Adult Spectrobes as your fighting Spectrobes; and your support panel should be filled with 4 other adult/evolved Spectrobes. To win the battle, you are required only to defeat Skeesa. The other two do not post any realy threat to victory, and will NOT heal him. The most effective way to deal with Skeesa would be to stand on the outside of the arena and launch your Spectrobes CH attack just before he is going to hit you. This method may take a bit of practice to perfect, and it may also cause you to take a lot of damage. Another method of defeating Skeesa would be through ranged attacks from Spectrobes such as Vilakroma, Vilanox, Samugeki and Dongiga. This way may take a bit more time, but is much safer than the previously mentioned method. If you find you still cannot defeat Skeesa you can always run around the arena whilst charging your CH meter to unleash combination attacks until he is defeated. Upon winning the battle, Jeena will tell you that the moons have returned to normal. But Rallen gives her the bad news; they did not find the nest. So head back to the ship via jet pack, or walking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spaceship Speculation { #8# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once you are back at the ship, save and heal. Now, head up to the control console and press A. Commander Grant will tell you that Meido has vanished from their radars, and they are pretty sure that it is due to the surface of Meido being completely covered by black vortexes! Unfortunately, you cannot go to Meido becuase Rallen does not have access to technology to allow him to do so. Professor Kate joins your conversation; she thinks she has a solution for you, so using the map for Ziba Area 1 ( { MAP7 } ) head back to where you first spoke with Professor Kate. She weaves you a tale about how the ruins on Nessa are actually an ancient spaceship that the "ancients" built and used to access the farthest planets in the system. In the end, Kate gives you her Red Keystone, and a letter for the museum curator on Kolin. Head back to the ship, and go to Kolin, then to the museum. Use the following maps if you cannot remember how to get there: { MAP3.1 } { MAP3.2 } and { MAP 3.3 } for inside the museum. Mr. Webster, the museum curator is agast that he should give you his precious relic, but will reluctantly hand it over. Before you head back to the ship, stop by the Equipment shop ( { MAP3 } if you cannot remember where it is). You will want to touch the button on the top of the touch screen just to the left of the large X1 sign to open up the armor menu. On the far right of the top row is a red suit, called the Scalar C Suit. It costs 12500 Garu. If you have the Garu, buy it. You will need it for later in the game. If not, do not worry, I will elaborate further about easy ways to make Garu when you need it. Anyway, head back to your ship and go to Nessa Area 3 (the BLUE desert!). Using the following maps, make your way back to the final room of the ruins via { MAP6 } . Back in the final room you are confronted with a challenge, place the Keystones in the correct holes! _________ | 3 | | | | 1 2| | | | | |__ __| | | | | | | | | | | / \ / \ | G | | | \ / \____/ 1: There is a red circle here, you will want to say "yes" when it asks you to place the Red Keystone there. 2: There is a green circle here, you will want to say "yes" when it asks you to place the Green Keystone there. A tremor shakes the ruins after placing the second Keystone. 3: There is a blue circle here, for the Blue Keystone. But Rallen suddenly remembers he gave the Blue Keystone to Cyrus for the rare cube! Head back out of the ruins, and to your ship. Heal and save, then change to Nessa Area 1. Using { MAP5 } make your way back to Cyrus. Of course, you need to strike a bargain with him. In exchange for the Blue Keystone, he wants you to get him the extremely rare Diamond Mineral from table top mountain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Table Top Mountains { #9# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Head back to the ship, and walk up to Jeena, they will begin talking. Appearently, the area Cyrus wants you to go will drain the life out of anything that gets close to it. You will need a special Corona suit to be unharmed by the aurora. Do not worry about the Spectrobes, not yet anyway. If you have not already purchased the Scalar C Suit, I would suggest you do it now. If you did not buy the suit because you did not have enough money, head over to the mineral seller before going back to your ship, you should have a few platinum minerals, or pearls to sell to him, you would need one of each of the minerals previously mentioned to get enough money for the suit. Note that if you do not have any of those minerals mentioned, you could still sell off the others, but if you plan on training your spectrobes, it would be more wasteful than helpful. If you still do not have enough money, go to the Card Input Machine guide, and enter the codes for the Sapphire, Ruby and Emeralds. Each of these are worth more than 12500 Garu, so you should be able to sell and have enough for the suit after just entering one code. When you have the Garu, head to Kolin and buy the Scalar C suit. See the following maps if you need help: { MAP3 } and { MAP3.1}. After you have obtained the suit, you may be relatively short on money. So, you will need to input codes for another mineral or two. Using { MAP3.1} head to the area labelled "ITEMS" here you will find a ship, and inside a person who sells healing items. You will want to buy one or two Super Antidotes. These will be used to heal your Spectrobes that are not of the Corona alignment when you get to the top of The Table Top Mountains. Alternatively, you could get several strong Corona monsters, but it is much faster just to buy healing items for your Spectrobes. So, after you are finished preparing yourself change planets to Daichi! You will indeed want to go to Area 1. Note that the first two maps are indeed the original parts of Daichi Area 1. After the second map, it will continue on into an area you could not previously access; The Table Top Mountains. ____________________________________________ ______/ x | \ Screen \__ !!! 1 o \ x / oo \ Change A __ \___ / oo| ____ __ o / \ xx ___ x _ o | \ | /\/\/ / oo | \ o _ / | | / |__/ \___| \__/ \___/ \ | / \ \ /\ |__ ___ ____ | !!!| ________________ / o\ \__\ \___/ \_/ xx|__ / \ \____/ | | \ ** \ oo |_/ \_______| x |____ \ ** | | \ ___/ | / x | / _____ x x | / \ ___ Ship | \ | o | | | \ | | | o _| | ** / o o | | | | ** / x | | _______| | **!!! \ ** | \__ | \ ** \ ** ox ** | \_________| \ xx* \ \ * xo *** ** /\ oo | \oo______\ \______ ** / \oo/ \_________/ \/ Daichi Area 1 to Screen Change A - Defence C - Power C - Health C - Shapod - Villipod - Segupod - Spipod - Beta Cube - Alpha Cube __ ______ |!!!\ /oo \__________________________ / | / o o | xo \ / x | | | oo x \ /o _| | | | x | | \ / / / | / / | | \___ / / / | | x| \ | | / x / | o | | | \ | | A /x o / | | | | |__ !!! | | Screen \/ / | x | | |\o \____ | | o o ___ Change B /\ x\ | | | | \ / | o | / \ o / \ | | o | | | \ o | / / \___/ | o \ | | | | | /| o / o / / / \ \/ o | |x / | x /\ \ / |!!! / |oo | / o/ / / / \___| _oo______| |!!! / /o | ______/ |___/ \ !!!| o / \______|____/ Daichi area 1 to Screen Change B - Health C - Power C - Defence B - Power B - Flourite - Jade - Agate - Segupod - Villipod - Alpha Cube - Beta Cube - Gamma Cube - Delta Cube - Platinum Upon arriving, you run into a sign that Rallen does not want to pass. Those being Messapod, and Mossapod fossils. This is the only area (to my knowledge) that either of these Spectrobes can be obtained. It is also one of the best areas to obtain Emeralds from. Sometimes they will not appear in their designated, as they only have about a 15% chance of showing up. If you are keen on getting either of them, be patient, just walk through the Screen change and then back into this area and check again until you find them. After excavating them, you can walk through the screen change and back again for another chance to find them. See this section of the guide for an even more detailed instruction on obtaining Messapod, Mossapod and the Emeralds: { MME }. You will be pulled into the battle as soon as you get about half way up the branch, so use your healing items once you start walking up. Trunkos X1 500 HP ````````````````` So, this Leader Krawl has caused much trouble for many people. He moves very quickly, and does a lot of damage. But, I am here to help you beat him! Attacks ``````` He appears to attack in a repetitive cycle, he will start with a spinning attack in which he will spiral towards you at a speed faster than you can run at. It will most likely hit you if you were close to him when he started. The best way to avoid this is to stay as far away from him as possible. But that strategy will not work if you do not have a long range attacking Spectrobe like Samugeki. His next attack is normally a jab. He thrusts out a tentacle in an attempt to hit you. As with his first move, it is VERY fast, so if you can, keep your distance. His final attack is a sort of mine. He will pause and thrust two of his tentacles into the ground. Then, three orange circles will appear in the ground where he was. They disappear after about 10 seconds. Strategy ```````` To win the battle, you must destroy Trunkos. He is the only enemy you will fight in this battle. Now, the best way to fight Trunkos would be at a distance with Spectrobes like Vilakroma, Vilanox, Samugeki and Dongiga, as they are able to hit him from a distance. But, if you do not have any Spectrobe that attacks from long range, you can still win using one of several strategies. First, you could run around the stage whilst fully charging your CH meter, then using it to unleash your combination attack repetitively. Or, you could take advantage of Trunkos' pauses. Trunkos will stop moving from time to time, and this is the ideal moment to attack him. He appears to stop moving for about 3 seconds after he finishes his spiral attack, and for about 5 seconds while he puts his mines in the ground. Those times may not sound like very much, but it is plenty of time to hit him at least once with your Spectrobes close range attacks. Note that using the pause strategy, you will need to stay close to Trunkos, which may cause you to take quite a bit of damage throughout the course of the battle, so you will need to use fairly strong Spectrobes. Upon winning the battle, move into the middle of the tree stump and scan with your Spectrobe. You should see a mineral, excavate it. Do not worry about what Jeena said, you will not damage the diamond mineral using any of the standard drills. Hint: your spectrobe must be able to find minerals to find the diamond. After excavating the Diamond, head back to the ship. Heal and save, then change areas to Nessa Area 1 ( { MAP5 } ) and talk to Cyrus. He will be a little cocky about you not being able to get the Diamond, until you show it to him. He will be astounded. Cyrus gives you the Blue Keystone. Head back to the ship. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adding The Final Keystone { #10# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, now you have the final Keystone! You will want to go back to Nessa Area 3. Using { MAP6 } head back to the last area where you previously put the two keystones. Upon approaching them, the ground begins to shake! Then suddenly, a giant leader Krawl comes crashing through the wall! Of course, your going to have to fight it now! Karkasa X1 300 HP ````````````````` This krawl, along with Klench do not appear to be very dangerous. They have very weak attacks, and tend to follow Klutch around. However, they do have the ability to heal quite a bit of HP! So, taking that into account, they can be quite formidable, destroy them if need be. Karkasa has only one attack. It is a long range homing missile type attack. It looks like a purple cloud, and moves pretty slowly. After about 15 seconds, the cloud dissipates if it has not hit you. Even if it does hit you, the damage done is minute. Klutch X1 600HP ``````````````` Well, unfortunately, this leader Krawl does alot of damage with its attacks. Luckily, he is quite easy to defeat because he moves very slowly, and has only two different attacks! Attacks ``````` His first attack is basically an extension of his ridiculously large arm. Which I will refer to as his 'hammer fist.' Klutch's hammer fist has a fairly long range, and covers that distance very quickly. The best way to avoid it is to stay far away from him, or very close to him. Klutch's other attack also involves his hammer fist, and has about half the range of his first attack. He will extend it and spin around in a circle. After using the attack, he pauses for about 3 seconds, which is a good opportunity to attack him. Klench X1 300HP ``````````````` Klench is exactly the same as Karkasa, only the name is different, so see the information above for more details. Strategy ```````` There are several ways that I have found very effective to defeat this boss. The first, was staying very close to Klutch, and using close range spectrobes that can inflict alot of damage very quickly such as Naguzoro and Harumity. The damage that he can inflict on you will be fairly high, but you should be able to destroy him much faster, even with the healing effects of the other two. If you are finding you cannot take his HP down fast enough, destroy Klench and Karkasa, then grapple with Klutch. The second, was staying far away from Klutch, and using the long range spectrobes. Good spectrobes include Samugeki, Vilanox and Dongiga. Simply attacking with their attacks, and moving around the outside of the arena to avoid his pursuit keeps the damage done to you low, but you may not be able to damage him fast enough to stay ahead of the healers. So, you may wish to target them if you cannot stay ahead. Then there is always the run around the stage strategy, which I have mentioned before. Simply run around the arena charging your CH meter, once it is full unleash your spectrobes combination attack. Rinse and repeat until he is defeated. Note that, this may not be fast enough to win the battle, as the amount of health the two krawl can heal is quite substantial. Upon winning, Jeena comes into the ruins to analyze the damage the leader Krawl had done. She thinks she will be able to attach their cruiser to the ruins to be able to pilot it! Jeena tells Rallen to go back to the ship, so do as she says! Use these maps: { MAP6 } if need be, you only need to go back to 6.2 to use the jet pack. Upon returning to the ship, move up to the control panel. Rallen will pilot the ship and move it close to the ruins, and a new conversation will begin. Aldous tells you that his people used to think the spectrobes came to his system with the ancestors in a spacecraft that much resembled the ruins. It is now time to place the final keystone! walk up to the blue circle and press A. Place the Blue Keystone. After a brief moment of suspense, the ship is moving! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Himuro Mystery { #11# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sit back and enjoy the short cut scene! The suspense continues when the black vortexes start to attack your spaceship! You change course and head to Himuro, the sixth planet. Aldous comes through with another revelation, the Krawl hate light! Now you are left to explore Himuro, a supposedly Krawl free planet... Heal and save, then exit the now much larger ship. They are starting to get a bit stronger, with HP that are normally around 300. By this point in the game you should have at least 2 Evolved spectrobes, and a full roster of support spectrobes. In this new area, there are a few new things here that may be of benefit to you. One thing in particular is the addition of the A+ mineral set, they will increase a minergy level by 32 when you feed them to your Spectrobes! Also note the new fossils you can get here; Masepod, and Harupod. Once you're done exploring, head across to the 2 on the map and step into the green rectangle. Your teleported to the next area! When your inside, the path mentioned on the map is there, only its a little tricky to find. It just goes up some collapsed pillars between the snow piles on that wall. Get to the switch and press it. You hear a moving sound and Jeena tells you that the planet is manmade... To continue your investigation head back to Himuro Central and take the middle teleport. You'll have to press A on the panel again to use it after your conversation with Jeena. Your diagram on the top screen will start out looking something like this: __________________________________ | | |\ | |`\ __ __ | |``| ------ / | / \ | |``| | | | || |``| ------ \__| \__/ | |``| | |`/ | |/ | |__________________________________| What you want to do is make the diagram look like this: __________________________________ | | |\ | |`\ __ __ | |``| | \ - - - -- - / \ | |``| | | | || |``| |__/- - - - -- - \__/ | |``| | |`/ | |/ | |__________________________________| You need to put the pointy end of Himuro facing Meido (the planet on the right) This can be done with about 1 and a half clockwise turns on the dial on the touch screen. After you have done this, wait a few seconds and a brief cut scene starts. Now you can get onto Meido! Just before you leave, Rallen finds the Relic Crystal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Red Spring (Obtaining the Fire Geo) { #12# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Head back to the ship, and listen in on Aldous' lore of the Relic crystal. Turns out there is an even more powerful form of spectrobes called 'Ultimate Forms' which can be summoned using Geos. You can find the first geo, called the Flame Geo on the innermost planet in a red spring on the highest mountain. You now have a choice, head to Meido or go to Genshi. You won't have much luck on Meido without the Ultimate Spectrobe, so you should visit Genshi first. Follow the wise words of Aldous, and obtain this ultimate ally. After the conversation is finished, heal and save, then go to the control deck. The planet you want to go to is P1, Genshi. You will want to go to Area 2, so rotate the planet around to find it. Upon approaching sections of the map that are obstructed by lava flows, the Relic crystal will begin to glow and create bridges of lava across previously blocked areas. Those places are marked on the maps. There are a two new fossils here you may want to pick up... They are Gejipod and Inkapod... I have only ever found Inkapod in one place so I've marked this fossil spawn on the map, it appears about 25% of the time there (to reset the fossil spot, just head back inside the ship and then go back). If you get lucky, you might see what I would call a glitch at the first place lava flow, before stopping it you may see a black vortex or two moving around in the lava! Anyway... To stop the first lava flow, you need to go up the ramp just before from the lake at the bottom to where the river of lava is. For the second one, you need to head up the ramp on the left of the green vegetation and use the crystal on the lava river. Once you reach the end of this screen, you move into the final area, a lava lake. To get rid of the lava, you must go around to each of the flows and stop them with the crystal. This is the Flame Geo, when you are asked if you want to take it, say yes. After taking it you receive instructions on how to use Ultimate forms / Geos and their limitations. To sum it all up it says: Geos can only be used once a battle You need to charge 3 bars of CH to unleash them To use them, Press Y and then X This particular Geo / Ultimate form will do 460 damage to enemy Krawl when it is unleashed. Furthermore, it will be automatically equipped to Rallen. Jeena wants you to head back to the ship so you can go to Meido, but I would suggest sticking around and getting some rubies and sapphires. The rubies and sapphires are going to be sold to the mineral buyer on Nessa Area 1. They will get you quite a bit of Garu, and should be used to buy the best equipment for Rallen on Kolin, in the HQ. {RUBY} is a quick link to the section with exact descriptions on finding the Rubies and Sapphires if the above map doesn't work for you. You may think this is a waste of time, and even after seeing what is written next, you may be unconvinced of wanting to buy the equipment, I would still suggest it, as it makes the boss battles much easier. Vizbar, a common enemy Krawl on Meido does 82 damage to Rallen equipped with all level 1 equipment. When equipped with the Omega glove, Omega sword, Rupture Blaster and Plate Gear suit, or all level 10 equipment, Rallen takes 48 damage. So using the equipment will nearly half damage taken, and you will have 650 HP. Instead of 100 HP. To buy the equipment you need about 85,000 Garu. That can be obtained by getting 4 rubies, or 6 sapphires, or a combination of the two. Their best spawn points are placed on the map. For more exact information see the Ruby/sapphire section of the guide Rubies are worth 25,000 Garu when they are sold Sapphires are worth 15,000 Garu when they are sold The next thing you will want to make sure you have is at least two evolved spectrobes for combat, and a full line of support spectrobes. Meido is next. Head to the control console and go to the farthest planet in the solar system. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meido. { #13# } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shortly after landing on Meido, Jeena calls in with some encouraging news about saving the universe. But that will be the last good news for a while... There is no real dominant alignment of Krawl here so, you should bring an unbiased team and be ready for a lot of Krawl encounters. Also, be aware that on the surface of Meido, enemy Krawls HP averages about 400, but after you enter the underground it jumps to closer to 500. This is definitely the most complicated area of the entire game. There is holes that you can fall through, which are called ENx the EN stands for entrance, and the x is a number. These labels are used to determine where you end up on the underground map if you decide to go down a hole. For example, if you were to go down EN1, you would end up at EX1. If you chose to go down EN2, you would end up at EX2... All of the holes can be exited by running through the top of the sand dune in the underground, which are marked by the EX signs. The screen changes on Meido above ground, and the screen changes on Meido below the ground are alphabetized separately. The only way to get through Meido is to fall down the hole at EN2, all of the other areas lead only to dead ends. One final note, there is only one list for Meidos spawns... You can get almost everything mentioned on every screen. I've put in those long black lines to try and make this section look more organized... They separate the plot comments from the battles, and the battles from each other... I think it works, but if you've got a better idea email me please! _______________________________________________________________________________ Your first opponents are Orbux, Otorso, and Orbix. You must use the Flame Geo before you can damage any of these Krawl. Orbux X1 500 HP ``````````````` Until you use your Geo to break their shields, Orbux will not do anything except stand beside Ortorso. After you have broken the shields, Orbux will use a shockwave attack every time Otorso takes a step. It does not do very much damage, but it accumulates very quickly. Orbux does not really pose a threat, and does not need to be defeated to win the battle. Otorso X1 800 HP ```````````````` This is the slowest moving enemy Krawl in the entire game. He has very high defence, and decent HP. The thing you have to worry about with him is the damage he does. His attack deal around 300 damage every time he uses them. Luckily, it is a close ranged shockwave attack, and if you keep your distance he won't be able to hit you, and he is so slow he should never catch you. This is the only Krawl you need to defeat to win the battle. Orbix X1 500 HP ``````````````` This Krawl is exactly the same as Orbux. Strategy ```````` Stay away from them, keep as far away as possible. Use your spectrobes combination attacks to wear down their HP and win the battle. Ranged attacks, such as those used by Samugeki and Dongiga are very good attacks to be using against this leader Krawl. If you must get into melee range with him, I'd suggest using attacks with very high damage, like those of Naguzoro. Hit him with an attack, and then run out of his range after the attack has finished to try and avoid his shockwave attack. _______________________________________________________________________________ It is too bad your not done yet! The spores of the Krawl nest will heal you and your Spectrobes after you win! Unfortunately this status applies for you, and the enemy Krawl. _______________________________________________________________________________ The second battle is against Zepi, Thoraxa and Zepi. Zepi X2 100 HP `````````````` They are easily beaten in one shot, and do little to no damage. Their attacks are similar to the normal krawl that look exactly like them, they walk up to you or your spectrobes and spin to damage you. Their attacks are easily avoided and they pose no threat. HOWEVER, there is a catch. Every time you destroy a Zepi, it comes back to life. This is key to winning the battle, because the damage you do to a Zepi is converted into damage done to Thoraxa when it revives the destroyed Zepi. Thoraxa X1 800 HP ````````````````` Thoraxa has a lot of HP... But it has no aggressive attacks. HOWEVER, it will automatically revive either of the Zepi if you destroy them. Which is how you win the battle, you must attack the Zepi and when they are revived by Thoraxa, it will take damage depending on how much you dealt to the destroyed Zepi. Strategy ```````` None is really needed... Just attack the Zepis over, and over and over until Thoraxa runs out of HP... _______________________________________________________________________________ The first Krawl you defeated has disappeared and come back to life (and mutated a little...)! _______________________________________________________________________________ The final battle is against Goblada... The last boss. Goblada X1 999 HP ````````````````` Most people will make a mistake fighting Goblada. That is: You must take his HP down to about 615 before you use The Flame Geo on him. When you first start the battle, he does NOT have a shield on him and can be damage normally. Once you get him down to about 615 HP he gets the shield. At that point, and at that point only do you use The Flame Geo on him. Goblada moves very slowly, so you can run away from him pretty easily. But, he can jump about 1/3 of the way across the arena to catch up to you, so don't get too far away from him and encourage him to do so. His attacks are as follows: Long range: He will shoot a purple/red energy ball towards Rallen. It has a pretty good homing ability, but does very little damage. Short range: He will put his claw out and spin in a circle, damage all the units around him moderately. Both of his attacks are easily avoidable, the long range you just need to move out of the way, and the short range you can see him preparing it when he starts to move his arm. Strategy ```````` If your Spectrobes are primarily melee, or short range attackers you should get in close and attack him, then run out of his attack range, and run back up to him. His attacks are slow enough though, that if your Spectrobes can deal a lot of damage you don't really need to move out of the way. I just recommend it. Or, if you use long range just stay a reasonable distance away from him, and the walls and attack him at your discretion. Once he has been brought down to about 615 HP he will activate his shield, now you will want to use the Flame Geo on him. This will break his shield. Continue attacking him and eventually you'll wear him down and defeat him! _______________________________________________________________________________ After winning, Jeena contacts Rallen and tells him that the black vortexes are starting to disappear. The ground starts shaking, and Meido has become unstable. You'll automatically return to the ship and the story will begin to wrap up. Congratulations! You have now completed Spectrobes! (The next thing you may want to do is see the next section about Large Black Vortexes, and Geos.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Obtaining the Geos, Vortex tournament Method {ULTSP1} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After you have beaten the game and watched the credits roll, its time to take another trip into the wonderful world of Krawl combat. Talk to Commander Grant in the HQ on Kolin, and he tells you of 7 massive black vortexes that have appeared in the galaxy. Their locations according to him are as follows: The peaks of the table top mountains, on Daichi The desert on the fourth planet, Nessa The moons of the Fifth planet, Akaboshi and Aoboshi The west area of the sixth planet, Himuro The surface of the seventh planet, Meido Thats 6 giant vortexes, and 6 Geos to win. All of these Geos can be obtained in two ways. The first, is through the large black vortex tournament on the planets mentioned by Commander Grant and the second, is through the card input machine. Both of them are in this guide, and the card input method can be found in the section after this one. These black vortex tournaments are just like fighting normal Krawl, but there is a few differences. For starters, they involve fighting in 50 to 70 consecutive battles. After each battle, you can switch out spectrobes for those in your support line if need be; but Rallens HP, and your Spectrobes HP is never recovered. This has let me to develop a good strategy as to keeping damage down with as few Spectrobes as possible... It involves any spectrobe that can heal, and has ranged attacks. Samugeki is a good example. It also involves a spectrobe that has a melee attack and high defence, like Inkaflare. Depending on which side you are more comfortable with, you want the defensive melee Spectrobe to be on the inside of Rallen, and the ranged Spectrobe on the outside. For me, that is melee on the right, and ranged on the left. At the start of the battle, stay close to the outside of the arena keeping the all members of the party close to the wall, but in a line extending to the middle. When the melee Spectrobe comes up to the first enemy, have it use its normal attack and then charge the CH meter. Your melee Spectrobe will be in the way, and slow the advancing Krawl. Unleash the ranged Spectrobes CH attack, then run to the south side of the arena charging the CH meter, unleash your attack again. With powerful Spectrobes, you should be able to win the battle with 3-5 attacks or less. When you need to heal, run around the arena and don't let the krawl get close, use it as many times as needed because as long as you are only trying to get the Geo, time DOES NOT matter. Or... You could take a Spectrobe like Mossax and switch him into your fighting line up whenever you need to be healed. Though, some people I have talked to actually recommend fighting with him, you might like to give it a try as the melee fighter/healer and use another ranged Spectrobe like Vilakroma but I find Mossax's attacks too hard to aim. Other good Spectrobes to use are Vilanox, Dongiga, Masetosu... There are a lot of them. It all just depends on personal preference. Another thing you should know is time in these 'sequenced battles' only counts for the total score, which is used to rank you in the online community. They have no effect on your ability to obtain Geos, so you can take as long as you want. Although the Geos can be obtained in any order, they will be listed in the same order as described by Commander Grant (also listed above). This is a super compressed table of everything mentioned below; baring the maps and exact locations. ------------------------------------ | Planet |# waves | Reward | |-------------|--------|-------------| |Table Top Mts| 50 | Cyclone Geo | |-------------|--------|-------------| |Neesa Area 3 | 60 | Hammer Geo | |-------------|--------|-------------| |Ziba Area 2 | 55 | Thunder Geo | |-------------|--------|-------------| |Ziba Area 3 | 65 | Plasma Geo | |-------------|--------|-------------| |Himuro West | 70 | Ice Geo | |-------------|--------|-------------| |Meido Surface| 70 | Wing Geo | ------------------------------------ The maps used below are the same as the ones used throughout the guide, only you will see the word VORTEX printed somewhere on them. This is where you will find the black vortex tournament. Table Top Mountains; Daichi Area 1 - 50 waves - Cyclone Geo ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Alright, so this is the final screen of Daichi area one. This vortex is a little tricky because if you remember, all non-corona spectrobes, and all suits except those that are Corona suits will take damage while you walk around outside the battles. This can be fixed in two ways: One, you bring some healing items with you and use them before you enter battle. Or, two, you could bring a Corona suit, and Corona Spectrobes for this area. Either way, you can find the vortex on the map where it says 'VORTEX' - it is in the same spot where you dug up the diamond mineral in The Table Top Mountains section of the guide/story. ______ / \ / \ | | | VORTEX | | | \ / \ / | / | | / \ /__ \ \ \ ___ \ \ | x | \ \ ____________ | o |________ \ \___/ \| xo oo| \ x o | |_____ oo _______| | xo / _____| / |oo / _|xo / / | | x \ / \ / | / o | | x \ | o / | __________ / | x / \ o \ | | \ | | | | / |x_____| |_ o _/ | | F Nessa Area 3 (blue desert) - 60 waves - Hammer Geo `````````````````````````````````````````````````` This is the first screen of Nessa Area 3, the blue desert, you can find the vortex where it says VORTEX on the map. The vortex is found at the very end of the area, in the same place where you fought the boss when you were here during the story. For all the maps of this area, refer to "Ziba's Moons." To get to the vortex you need to follow the south wall from your ship, then when it disappears, turn left until you reach a wall, then head south from there. It is on the map below. Most of the rounds from 30-60 are pretty easy, but after you get past 60 watch out for the krawl called vizepi and Greep plus other ones that look the same as them, as they can do massive amounts of damage. _ _ __ ___________ / |_|o|_|\ / oo\ | o oxo \ / x ox| | \ | Ship \/ \_____ | x oo| | o o ox| \_____ ___ | ____ \_____/ \_________ | | | __/ | | | x |_/ | |___________Screen | o ___o_______Change A \ o | | o | | x _____________ / | __| / \ /\ |o |__|____/ \ /oo\___/ |____| \ /ox VORTEX xooo\\ EN2 | \ ____ x _/ \/ | | \_/ |o | | | | | |__ xx | | / |oo / / o/ _______ \_____/ / \| / ____ \______ |xo |_/ / \__ | |xo__ / | | x | EN1 __ ox| |_ || / |_oo| |__| \_____/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Obtaining the Geos, Card input machine method {ULTSP2} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the second method of obtaining the Geos/Ultimate Spectrobes. Go to the card input machine (found on the left side of Aldous' capsule) and enter the codes to obtain the Geo. If you have problems with the codes, or anything like that, see the other section of this guide that is dedicated to the use of the Card Input machine. Tindera does not have a code, and is obtained during the story. They will be listed by number and name of the Geo, followed by its input code. 1. First, is a small chart that says about how much damage the Ultimate Spectrobe contained within the Geo will do in battle. Then after that; all of the in game descriptions of the Geos are written (rather poorly I might add). -------------------------- |Geo Name | Damage Dealt | |-----------|--------------| |Flame Geo | ~450 | |-----------|--------------| |Cyclone Geo| ~460 | |-----------|--------------| |Thunder Geo| ~500 | |-----------|--------------| |Hammer Geo | ~520 | |-----------|--------------| |Plasma Geo | ~550 | |-----------|--------------| |Ice Geo | ~580 | |-----------|--------------| |Wing Geo | ~600 | -------------------------- 1. Flame Geo / Tindera `````````````````````` Tindera is often called the king of flames. His body is formed of the fires of Genshi. Legend has it that the two swords he wields can annihilate anything they touch. 2. Cyclone Geo / Zorna `````````````````````` Zorna is the tornado mikado and he wields the power of ruthless winds. He has exceptional intelligence and a mere flick of his jewelled fan can produce a deadly gust of wind. 3. Thunder Geo / Fulvina ```````````````````````` Fulvina evolved from lightning and his lance can manipulate thunder- his roar sends fear up the spine of any enemy and his lance can lay waste to entire battle scenes. 4. Hammer Geo / Larrup `````````````````````` Larrup is the czar of destruction. The hammer he wields pulverizes anything it descends upon. There is no foe that can withstand his catastrophic might and force. 5. Plasma Geo / Voltron ``````````````````````` Voltron is the master of magnetism. He's a massive creature with untold powers. He can emit a single wave of magnetic energy in all directions that razes anything in its path. 6. Ice Geo / Artezza ```````````````````` Artezza is arctic cold incarnate. He could freeze entire oceans if he so desired. He has frigid ice crystals on his body that can turn foes into feeble ice statues. 7, Wing Geo / Shulla ```````````````````` Shulla is shrouded in a noxious fog of ferocity. His toxic spell can send enemies to eternal sleep and his sword-sharp wings can repel even the most conditioned enemies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Evolve Mineral and Nessa Area 2 {EVOLVE } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In this area, you can find a variety of things, and as per norm they will be listed after each map. But the real attraction of this area (before you beat the game) is a 30 round tournament you can find in the third screen (after screen change B). If you win every round, you are awarded with an evolution mineral. This mineral will allow you to instantly evolve any Baby, or Adult spectrobe to their next form when you feed it to them in the incubator. The evolution will cause an increase in stats just like normal evolution, and you will not gain a single level. For example: Segupod, after being awoken becomes a level 1 Segu with these stats: Level 1 50 HP 50 Attack 90 Defence Which will evolve into... Segulos Level 1 91 HP 95 Attack 154 Defence Which can evolve into...(by using a second evolve mineral) Segulara Level 1 317 HP 212 Attack 400 Defence Evolution minerals can be used to most effectively maximize your Spectrobes statistical potential. This is because at level one, as can been seen with Segulara you can have the stats of a Spectrobe which would normally come around level 40, at level one. Which effectively gives you another 40+ levels to train your Spectrobes stats! These marvellous minerals can also be used to evolve your Spectrobes without needing to train them, or wait through the incubation time. How you will use them is ultimately up to you... I'm just here to make suggestions. Moving on, this tournament is found in a large black vortex that does not move, but rather sits in once place and spins. Most Krawl found within this vortex have between 100 and 190 hit points, which is about normal for the point in the game this area becomes available. Note: The excavatable objects in this area vary greatly after beating the game. the charts on these maps are created for listing objects avaliable before beating the game. { MAPN2} ________ \ !!! \ _____________/ \ ______ / \ \ \ \ / \ \___\ \ / o \ \________ / x \___ !!! \ | x \_____ | o o o \ | ** Screen | Ship x ** ** Change A | !!! ox** x x / \ ___ x xo ** ____________/ \ / \ ___ ______ / \_____ / !!!/ \ | \ / | / \/ \ | \/ \/ \ ox | \_ox/ To Screen Change A - Dongopod - Segupod - Komapod - Aopod - Zozapod - Samupod - Spipod - Health A - Power A - Defence A - Health B - Power B - Defence B - Nu cube - Tau Cube - Platinum _ / \ / x\_____________ / | o \ /\ / | |_ \__/ \ / xx| / xx | / xo|_/ o xx | / /\ / | / / / x | / x | \ ____ | / **** !!!\__ \ / \/ _____________/ **** \__\____/ \ / \ \ _____ \ __/ \ \ o / \ \ A x \ | / / \ ___ \ |______/ / ___ \ | \______________/ / \ \_____ | x | \ | | \ \ B | ** | \ |!!! *** | \ _ x | |___ ***** | \ / \ | | oo | \ xx / \ ___ ox | __| ** xx | \_ox___/ \___| \xo/ | ** _______/ | o ** x / |_ / Note: B indicates a screen change to - o _____ / The B found below. -______/ \ x / \_____/ To Screen Change B - Villipod - Nagupod - Segupod - Grilpod - Spipod - Komapod - Aopod - Samupod - Zozapod - Health A - Power A - Defence A - Health B - Power B - Defence B - Mu cube - Pearl ___ ____ / \__________________ _____ /** \________/ x \ / \____/ o ** !!!\ | ** x \__ \ ** o | \ | | ***** | B *** _| o !!! | \ x | \ o __| \_ oo/\/ | xx| | __ ____/ | / \ \ \___\ | \ | \ /oo o x \ / ox \_ / \ / o | / | / ** o | | o** __ *** __| | / \ ****** / | | | !!!*** / / 1 x / \_ / / _____ / \/\ __/ / / \ o / \ | / / \___/ \ | /__/ \ | \ | 1: Large black vortex; \ xo / stepping into it enters \____xx_/ you into a 30 round tournament. Using the touch screen, you enter a 7 part code onto the grid and if it happens to be a correct code; you can unlock a variety of things ranging from fully evolved Spectrobes to the rarest minerals and cubes. With your game you probably received 5 cards with pictures and holes in them. You use those cards with your DS and the card input machine to unlock the items or spectrobes the cards are for. If you have not already unlocked the Card Input machine, visit { MAP3.2} and pick up an Upsilon Cube, then take it back to Aldous to get it analysed. The Grid ```````` [ ]------------------[ ] --[ ]--[ ]--[ ]--[ ]-- --[ ]--[ ]-[ ]-[ ]-- --[ ]--[ ]--[ ]--[ ]-- [ ]------------------[ ] The first four points in a combination will always been in the four corners. The remaining three points always appear on the twelve spaces found in the middle. In this guide; I will refer to each point that needs to be pressed as a number. 1 will be the first point 2 will be the second point 3 the third point 4 the fourth point 5 the fifth point 6 the sixth point 7 will be the final point If you have successfully entered the code; you will see "Access Granted" and your prize will appear after you press A or touch the touch screen. If you have entered the code incorrectly you will see an "Access Denied" box, and you will have an opportunity to try again! Unfortunately after using most codes four times, you will be unable to get another one of the object in question, you will receive a "Object confirmed" message and will be told you have input the max number of that object and cannot obtain another. Danapod has the longest scan range capable of finding both fossils, and minerals in the game, and as such is a major asset to your party. You can get Danapod as soon as you have access to Nessa Area 3 (which is also where you find it). There is only about a 40% chance that Danapod will appear in the designated point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mossapod, Messapod and Emerald Locations { MME } / { MME } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This works both before, and after beating the game. The only difference being there is a black vortex at the top of the tree trunk. You can only find these things in the Table Top Mountains of Daichi Area 1, the map that follows is the final screen where you find the diamond mineral for Cyrus, (or the Geo tournament vortex after beating the game). If you would like a map of how to get to the area, see { MAP10 }. Most information here is basicaly a repeat of what is found on { MAP10 } which is a map of the entire Daichi area, including up to this point on Table Top Mountain. Only the locations of Mossapod, Messapod and the Emerald Mineral will be described in much greater detail. All three of these items only have about a 15% chance of appearing, so it may take several tries to get them to show up. If you do not see the fossils or the mineral, simply walk back out the screen change and come back into the area to refresh it. ______ / \ / \ | | | | | | \ / \ / | / | | / \ /__ \ \ \ ___ \ \ | x | \ \ ____________ | o |________ \ \___/ \| xo oo| \ x 3 | |_____ oo _______| | xo / _____| / |oo / _|xo / / | | 2 \ / \ / | / o | | 1 \ | o / | __________ / | x / \ o \ | | \ | | | | / |x_____| |_ o _/ | E | 1- Messapod fossil location You can find this fossil by going to the number one, and scanning the area just before the ground turns purple. There you will find Mossapod fossils, if you are lucky enough. 3- Emerald Mineral location To find the emerald mineral, go to the number three. You should see the change from blue ground to purple ground. If the Emerald mineral appeared You will find it directly below the little plant on the top wall right before the ground starts to turn purple. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Inkapod { INK } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have had a bit of trouble finding this Spectrobe myself, and it seems to give a lot of others a bit of grief, so I've found a pretty good spawn of Inkapod. This map is Genshi Area 2, the same area you are in after you exit from your ship. _______________ / o\ | | | ship | Key | x / o : mineral \__________x_/\ \ x : fossil \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \_______ /x x\ ______ | oo | | xo || xx | | oo \| | \ \\_____o_ o | \ / \ \ The 1 is below here | /___ |\ \ \ A- is a screen change, | o \__| \ \ \_______________ it connects like normal| x | / x1\ 1- Inkapod spawn (25%) / |/ oo\ 2- Lava flow(stopable) | | | __ | o | xx | / \ \ |oo x| | | \___ \ / __________ | | | o \_________ ______/ A 2 \ | | | / | | __ ____ \ | \ | x / | | | | \ \/ \ / x | __| |___ | | \ | \ __|/ x o\ | | \ |_____\ x x / | | | | ____/ | |__| | _______ o | _____/ / ____ | |xx / \ \ x/ / oo |_______ \ \______o________/ | ___| \ox \ \___ / \oo________\ \__ _____/ \_/ Inkapod spawns at the 1 on the map. To get to the spawn you need to walk down two ramps. If you walk down a set of stairs you have gone too far. When you are on the plateau before the stairs, you will want to go to the top right hand corner. Here you will see two fossils and two minerals upon scanning. Inkapod has a 25% chance of spawning from the top right fossil. The fastest way to reset the spot so you can get another inkapod, or try again is to use your jetpack to head back to the ship and walk back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Finding Rubies, and Sapphires {RUBIES} / {RUBY} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Before you beat the game this is the easiest and fastest way to do many things. First, it is the fastest way to train your Spectrobes and it is the best mineral farming spot in the game before and after beating it. Second, it is the easiest garunteed way to get Rubies and Sapphires. Finally, it is the fastest way to make Garu before you can get the gold mineral. To get to the spawning points, you need to go to Genshi Area 2. All the way to the final screen where you found the Flame Geo. All spawning points seem to have about a 30% chance of giving you the desired mineral, be it a Sapphire or a Ruby. The best way to use this place is to check all the spots and then run back through the screen change and return, then search the places again. _________________ /x x\ / ______ ______ \ / / | | \ \ / / o x \ \ / / \ \ / x/ \R2\ | | x o x S1 | | | |__ R1 o o __| | | o 4 x | | __ o o S3 __ | | | S2 |R3| | | | | \o \ o / / \ \ x / / \ \ / / \ \_______________/ / \ x x / \_______ _______/ | o | | | Screen Change S1, S2, S3 - Sapphire spawn points R1, R2, R3 - Ruby spawn points 4 - Table you found the Flame Geo on R1 To find this Ruby spawn you need to go to the left side of the where you can walk up and down from. You should see some red lava on the ground and when you scan above that lava you should see one or two (depends on your scan range) minerals. You will want to touch the top one. R2 To find this spawn follow the outside around to the right and scan after you are aobve the ramp that leads you down into the lake. R3 This spawn is almost directly below R2, and can be found inbetween two little 'puddles' of lava that are below the ramp leading into the lake. S1 Going down the right ramp into the lake, you can find this spawn by scanning standing straight off the bottom of the ramp, in around where the ground starts to change from the darker blue/purple color to the lighter color. S2 This spawn is easily found by scanning off the end of one of the farthest lava 'vein' directly right of the Flame Geo table where the ground starts to change from the lighter blue/purple to the darker blue/purple. S3 Standing next to the bottom right corner of the Flame Geo table you should be able to scan and see a mineral spawn or several of them (depending on scan range) the one you want will appear below the fossil and lines up almost perfectly with the table leg on the bottom right. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *The Fabled Gold Mineral { GOLD } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *** ONLY WORKS AFTER BEATING THE GAME *** You know, they say gold is enough to drive anyone mad... And it did, it drove a lot of people on the internet mad. But here I am, explaining the mysteries of finding the gold mineral! Gold decreases all disciplines of minergy by 15, but it can be sold for a hefty 100,000 Garu. You'll need to go to Himuro to find this mineral. This area is Himuro East, you can get here by using the right rectangular teleport from the first area on Himuro. _____ / \ / 3 \ | | | | \ \ / \_/\ \ / / \_/ / / | | | o| | | | | | 2| <--- The 2 is here | | \x \ \ \ ___ \ \ __ / / \ \/ \/ / / \ | ox | \ oo | / / _______ \ /\ / | \___ \/ | | __ | oo| | | | \___ \ ox| | | |!!! \ \ |____| |____| \ | | | x \ | x | | ** | __/ o / /!!! | \ o | \ __ ____/__ | _| |__ ___/ / | | / \ \/ | x | \ ___ / \ / | \ \ | | / | \ o \| 1 !!! |___/__ | / | | /oo | ______ | |xx \ / \ o | \ x \_____/ \ | \__ \______ | / | \/\/ / \ ___ x oo/ \____/ \_______ xx/ 1- You teleport to here 2- Gold mineral spot is here 3- Teleport into east temple Alright, so all you really need is a spectrobe that is capable of finding minerals. Head over to where the 2 is on the map and scan the area of the bridge just after you turn the corner onto a straight section. You should see a mineral. Touch it, there is about a 20% chance that it will be a gold mineral. If it is something else, follow the path you are on up to the teleport into the temple (3 on the map) and go inside. Once you are inside step off the teleport circle and then step back on, you will be teleported back to Himuro East and the mineral spot will have come back! Excavate it again. Rinse and repeat until you find all the gold you want (or need!). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *How to excavate evolve minerals! {EXCEVO} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *** ONLY WORKS AFTER BEATING THE GAME *** You can find a detailed description of the evolve mineral and its applications in the {EVOLVE} section. This is without a doubt the fastest way to get evolve minerals. All you need is a search spectrobe capable of finding minerals, and a bit of patience. Head over to Nessa Area 2. This is a map of Nessa Area 2, the place where you will find the evolve minerals. ________ \ !!! \ _____________/ \ ______ / \ \ \ \ / \ \___\ \ / ox \ \________ / x ox \___ !!! \ | x \_____ | o o o \ | ** Screen | Ship ** ** Change A | !!! ox** x x / \ ___ 1 x xo ** ____________/ \ / \ ___ ______ / \_____ / !!!/ \ | \ / | / ^ \/ \ | \/ \/ | \ ox | 1 up is here \_ox/ What you want to do is head to where the 1 is. It can be easily found by following the south wall east, until you get to the part where it starts going back down. On the corner of the wall where it starts to decline to the right, use your search Spectrobe. You will see one of two things; either a fossil or a mineral. If it is a mineral, it is always going to be an evolve mineral. It seems to have about a 25% chance of appearing. To reset this spot, simply head back to the ship, exit the ship again and return to the spot. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *The Chromas {CHROMA} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *** ONLY WORKS AFTER BEATING THE GAME *** Chromas are minerals used to change the color of your Spectrobe to its first custom color (Chroma 2) is second custom color (Chroma 3) and change it back to its original color (Chroma 1). This following map is Nessa Area 2. The same place where you can find the evolve mineral through excavation after beating the game. Other notable minerals you can find here are sapphires and pearls. ________ \ {}x \ _____________/ x3 \ ______ / \ \ \ \ / \ \___\ \ / ox \ \________ / x ox \___ xo\ | x {}1\_____ | o o o \ | ** Screen | Ship ** ** Change A | !!! ox** x x / \ ___ o x xo ** ____________/ \ / \ ___ ______ / \_____ / !!!/ \ | \ / | / \/ \ | \/ \/ \ 3x | \_2x/ {}- Cube 1 - Chroma 1 spawn 2 - Chroma 2 spawn 3 - Chroma 3 spawn 1 - Chroma 1 spawn Head to the far right side of the screen to where you would find the screen change in between two large rocks. a few steps north of the top rock, you will see two more smaller rocks with a cylindrical shaped rock laying on top of them. Scan here, and you should see a cube, excavate the mineral that is to the right of the cube to possibly find a Chroma 1. 2 - Chroma 2 spawn Follow the south sand wall directly from your ship until is goes into a third, larger recession. Where the sand wall disappears and the edge becomes a cliff. If you scan the middle of this area you should see two fossils and two minerals Excavate the bottom mineral and there is about a 65% chance it will be a Chroma 2. 3 - Chroma 3 spawn Follow the south sand wall directly from your ship until is goes into a third, larger recession. Where the sand wall disappears and the edge becomes a cliff. If you scan the middle of this area you should see two fossils and two minerals Excavate the top mineral and there is about a 65% chance it will be a Chroma 3. Follow the North sand wall until you see an area with a rectangular grey stone that you can step on. There should be two angled sand walls, and one that appears perpendicularly to the rock. Move Rallen a little south from this grey stone and scan. You will see a cube, two minerals and a fossil. Excavate the right mineral for another possilbe Chroma 3 spawn. All of the mentioned spots have around a 65% chance to spawn the listed chroma. All noted Chroma spawns also have a 35% chance of producing one other chroma; every spot except the Chroma 1 spawn have Chroma 1 as their alternative. The Chroma 1 spawn has a Chroma 3 as its alternative. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Finding the Titanium, Uranium and Chrome Minerals {T/U/C } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *** ONLY WORKS AFTER BEATING THE GAME *** These are quite powerful minerals, and it is actually quite a good way to make money if you can't get any luck with the gold minerals as they sell for a fair price. They are also the only mineral that has the garunteed effect of leveling up your Spectrobe by filling up your entire minergy bar for a particular discipline. They do have a drawback... They decrease the other two disciplines of minergy by 16... It is beneficial to have a spectrobe that can find both minerals and fossils for this spot. The area you will find the spawn on is Ziba Area 2. That is the map featured below. This is the final room where you would find the large black vortex, and the same area where you found out the boss was on the other moon. _____________ | | | | \ / ____ \ 2 / / \/\___ \ \ / * / \/ * Scan here _____/ \ A -->|x1 / |o{} / * ____| xo *** / _*___ / xo**** | / / o | / | | | | *** | | | \ *** | | | \ !!! | __ / | \__ |\ x \/ \/ | | | \ x | | | \ | |___| \ | / | / / / / | ____ ____/ | / |___| \ / \____/ {}- is a symbol used to represent a cube 1- is the mineral you want to excavate. It will always be Titanium, chrome or Uranium. 2- is the place you would find a giant black vortex, and during the story where you found out the boss was on the other moon. You can find the mineral spawn for these minerals by going straight up from the left of the ramp/hill you need to walk up to get to the higher area. Follow this all the way to the wall, and you should be in a 90 degree corner. When you scan the area you should see two minerals a fossil and a cube. Excavate the mineral spot in the top right corner and it will always be one of the three minerals. Your chances of finding one mineral over another look something like this: 55% Titanium, 35% Uranium, 10% Chrome. To reset the mineral spot, all you need to do is walk through the screen change, and come back onto this screen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Duplicating Spectrobes {DUPING} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Before Getting Started; the requirements: To do this, You NEED: -Two Nintendo DS systems -Two copies of Spectrobes -To have unlocked Wireless play on both games (can be done via the Sigma Cube) Alright, so this was discovered by someone on the Gamefaqs forums. I cannot tell you who made the original discovery, because by the time I found out, there was at least ten different Topics on the subject. What you can do with this trick: -Create exact copies of your Spectrobes -Duplicate rare and hard to find fossils -Duplicate rare and hard to find Spectrobes -Duplicate rare and hard to find Custom Parts What you cannot do with this trick: Create or duplicate minerals Before we get started, I would suggest you read through each step before you actually try to do it. Step One: Turn on both DS' load the game, and move down to the laboratory. Step Two: If you are going to duplicate your Spectrobes, you cannot have the ones you wish to duplicate in your party, or in an incubator. They must be in your Spectrobe bank. To put your Spectrobes in the bank, go into the lab system, go to line up, then drag your Spectrobes out of the party onto the green button near the top left of the bank. Alternatively, if they are in your incubator, simply switch out a Spectrobe from the bank with the one you wish to duplicate. Step Three: Go to the Wireless Communication port ( See { MAP1 } for further detail) Press A on it, then go to the box called "Exchange." Press A, or touch it Step Four: Create, or join the group you are going to duplicate with. Step Five: Select the type of item you wish to duplicate, be it a fossil, Spectrobe, or a Custom Part. Step Six: One DS will choose the part you wish to duplicate. This will be called DS One. the other, will be using a junk part to satisfy trade requirements This will be DS two. *NOTE* that your duplicated part will appear on both DS one, and two. Step Seven: Trade the parts to one another. After you receive the Saving message, wait until it gets about half way across. TURN OFF DS ONE. LEAVE DS TWO ON. Step Eight: Now that both games have one of each of the items, you will probably want to get them both on the same game. Well, turn your DS' back on, go to the Exchange section again, then trade the duplicated item from DS two back onto DS one by giving DS two a worthless item that you will not miss. Assuming you followed the steps correctly, you will now have two of the thing you wished to duplicate on one DS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cube List {CUBES } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a comprehensive cube list containing data on its ingame description, location, and effects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mineral Chart {MINERL} / {MINRS} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a comprehensive mineral list, including all minerals and their respective increases/decreases in minergy. To find a particular mineral you should be able to press CTRL+F and search for it, and find it in several areas. Unlabelled areas of a chart mean that the respective minergy levels are unchanged. Furthermore, numbers with a - before the number mean that they will decrease the discipline of minergy. The + symbol means that minergy is increased by said amount. Value is the mineral's worth in Garu when trading it to the mineral buyer on Nessa Area 1 see { MAP5 } for more information. Be aware, there are a few minerals that cannot be sold, they have N/A in their value column. Also note that minergy increases do not directly increase stats, or your spectrobes level. In order to accomplish that, you need to fill the gauge fully for the particular stat that appears beside it whilst feeding your Spectrobes before you increase said stat, and your Spectrobes level. Finally, yes, the Gold mineral does decrease all of your minergy levels by 15. And, yes it can be sold for 100,000 garu. All cubes found whilst excavating can be sold for 100 Garu. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |Mineral |Power Increase |Defence Increase |Health increase | Value | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Power C | +8 | | | 5 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Power B | +16 | | | 15 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Power A | +24 | | | 40 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Power A+ | +32 | | | 80 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Defence C | +8 | | | 5 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Defence B | +16 | | | 12 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Defence A | +24 | | | 30 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Defence A+ | +32 | | | 60 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Health C | | +8 | | 10 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Health B | | +16 | | 20 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Health A | | +24 | | 50 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Health A+ | | | +32 | 100 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Agate | +8 | +8 | | 400 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Lazuli | +16 | +16 | | 600 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Graphite | +30 | -8 | | 50 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Onyx | +40 | -16 | | 100 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Topaz | -16 | +40 | | 120 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Jade | +8 | | +16 | 300 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Amber | +16 | | +16 | 500 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Zircon | +30 | | -8 | 75 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Cobalt | +40 | | -16 | 110 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Citrine | -16 | | +40 | 135 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Fluorite | | +8 | +8 | 300 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Coral | | +16 | +16 | 500 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Sylvite | | +30 | -8 | 70 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Spinal | | -8 | +30 | 85 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Azurite | | +40 | -16 | 120 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Quartz | | -16 | +40 | 150 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Platinum | +5 | +5 | +5 | 3,500 | |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Pearl | +12 | +12 | +12 | 10,000| |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Sapphire | +24 | +24 | +24 | 15,000| |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Emerald | +36 | +36 | +36 | 20,000| |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Ruby | +50 | +50 | +50 | 25,000| |-----------|---------------|-----------------|----------------|-------| |Evolve |Evolves your Spectrobe(no effect on evolved stage)| N/A | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Evolved spectrobes will still eat the evolve mineral, but it will not do anything to them. The first, is to explain the process behind getting an Evolved spectrobe's max stats and maxing out its level at 128. The second, is just to tell you what the max stats of the spectrobes are. Credit for pretty much this entire section goes to Dion Zanetti, who gave me all the information. All I have done is re-arranged it in tables and stuff. How to tell if an evolved spectrobe is at its most powerful when it hits Level 128: If the last number in every stat ends with a 5 or 0. All stats for all evolved spectrobes end in 5 or 0 (save for several exceptions) How To Get An Evolved Spectrobe Properly Maxed Out: ```````````````````````````````````````````````````` 1: Get 2 of the same fossil and save before starting 2: Feed one of them an evolve mineral, (only use evolve minerals) 3: Feed the spectrobe minerals until it gets to lvl 46. 4: Feed It another evolve mineral 5: First do attack, then defence, then HP. Do this because Attack maxes out first, then defence maxes out then last comes HP. You should not get to level 128 as this was only a test monster. 6: If you did get to 128 and your stats do not end in 5 or 0 (or they are not the same as listed below) look at the second paragraph after step 7. 6: If you did not get to level 128, read the first paragraph after setp 7. 7: Read and then repeat steps 2-5 If The First Spectrobe Does Not Reach Lvl 128: `````````````````````````````````````````````` Note how many levels until level 128, (ex: 3), and add that many levels to level 46 on the next spectrobe (in the first example, 46 would go to lvl 49 because there were 3 levels until 128 left on the first spectrobe. Now level up the second spectrobe to lvl 128 from the resulting level. It should reach level 128 with max stats. If The First Spectrobe Does Reach Lvl 128: `````````````````````````````````````````` If the first spectrobe does reach lvl 128, but its all its stats do not end in 5 or 0, on the second spectrobe make it an evolved on lvl 40 instead. There are two or three that will level properly for this level. If the second spectrobe does not reach lvl 128, restart from the save point in step one and do the paragraph before this one. Some Spectrobes are very hard to properly make maxed out. Some examples of these are: Kasumire, Gejigage, Segulara and Harumitey. The Table ````````` It is pretty self explanatroy, you have the evolved spectrobes name in the first column, the fossil it comes out of in the second, the third fourth, and fifth are the maximum values of Hitpoints, attack, and defence that the Spectrobe can obtain. The final column is "Max LVL" this tells you how many level ups a spectrobe requires in it's evolved form to reach maximum stats. This can be used in corelation with the above process if you subtract 128 from the Max LVL value, you get the level you need to raise the adult spectrobe up to before evolving it to an evolved one, which allows you to max out all stats at level 128! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |Evolved Spectrobe | Fossil | Max HP | Max ATK | Max DEF | Max LVL | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Vilanox | Villipod | 680 | 580 | 780 | 89 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Segulara | Segupod | 730 | 480 | 780 | 79 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Harumitey | Harupod | 640 | 500 | 800 | 88 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Spikanor | Spipod | 825 | 700 | 650 | 73 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Naguzoro | Nagupod | 780 | 665 | 730 | 84 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Inkaflare | Inkapod | 720 | 680 | 760 | 85 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Dongiga | Dongopod | 950 | 585 | 700 | 91 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Bartolosa | Bartopod | 625 | 600 | 690 | 84 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Aobasar | Aopod | 655 | 600 | 690 | 99 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Komadoros | Komapod | 900 | 525 | 660 | 85 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Shakoblad | Shapod | 815 | 630 | 680 | 81 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Zozanero | Zozapod | 700 | 530 | 675 | 86 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Grildragos | Grilpod | 820 | 675 | 745 | 76 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Gejigage | Gejipod | 799 | 499 | 629 | 89 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Kasumire | Kasupod | 650 | 545 | 594 | 94 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Samugeki | Samupod | 875 | 530 | 760 | 84 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Kugaster | Kubapod | 650 | 522 | 777 | 92 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Masetosu | Masepod | 850 | 600 | 790 | 90 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Danaphant | Danapod | 935 | 520 | 720 | 90 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Gekikiro | Tenkropod | 880 | 540 | 654 | 87 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Mossax | Mossapod | 600 | 650 | 615 | 86 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Mesathorn | Mesapod | 840 | 560 | 760 | 82 | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Windora | N/A | *** | 600 | *** | *** | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Thundora | N/A | *** | *** | *** | *** | |-------------------|------------|--------|---------|---------|---------| |Vilakroma | N/A | 700 | 580 | 820 | 151 | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes:Vilakroma, Thundora and Windora require more than 128 levels to max all of their stats, this means that you will never be able to get all 3 at the same time. Vilakroma, and Windora are both obtained through the card input machine Thundora is obtained through a WFC/WIFI download. *** indicates that the max stat may vary depending on the version of the Spectrobe you unlock ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spectrobes List {TROBES} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a comprehensive list of all of the Spectrobes, and their evolution lines. Directly below this there is an explanation for the template, then after some more texts the list begins. Spectrobes Evolution Line Template ( 1 ) ---------------------------------------------------------------- |Name: 2 |Alignment: 6 | Base Stats: 9 | |Fossil: 3 |Incubation: 7 | | |Stage: 4 |Evolve Stats: 8 | Custom Parts: 10 | |Scan: 5 | | | ---------------------------------------------------------------- The first line on top of the setup indicates which line of evolution is shown below. They are ordered in accordance to their appearance in the library's database. 1- The name of the first Planet and area you can get the Spectrobes fossil on. 2- Name of the spectrobe 3- What fossil the spectrobe originates from 4- The stage of evolution for the current Spectrobe 5- R = range and is follow by a number to represent its total range, F= fossil and M = mineral. The F/M symbols are used to indicate what the Spectrobe can pick up on its scan range. 6- Whether it is a Corona, Aurora, or Flash Spectrobe 7- The amount of time it must spend in the incubator to evolve 8- Required stats to evolve, they can be HP, ATK, DEF or LV 9- The basic stats of the Spectrobe when it is awoken, or after evolving. The minergy from the previous stage is carried over, so stats will often appear higher ingame then represented in these tables. 10- Equipable custom parts for the current Spectrobe To find other locations of a fossil for a Spectrobe, you should be able to copy the fossil name, press CTRL+F, paste and then find it in at least one of the area lists in the guide. You will also find more exact locations for the Spectrobes by doing this. Mossapod and Messapod only appear in a very particular place, and there is a section of the guide dedicated to it called "Mossapod, Messapod and Emerald Locations" which will give you precise information on finding them. Remember: Your spectrobes do not automatically evolve when they reach the requirements. Your spectrobe will get dots/stars above its head, and when you touch it with the stylus, you are brought to a screen with an egg. Simply drag the stylus across the egg to hatch your evolved spectrobe. The same egg screen appears when you change the custom parts on your spectrobes. Even though you have 99 of everything, you still need to excavate at least 3 fossils successfully to continue on Daichi, and you need to excavate the diamond mineral from the table top mountains in order for Cyrus to accept it. If you have any other questions, suggestions, comments or tidbits of information you would like to contribute, or complaints feel free to email me at [email protected] Just refrain from emailing me things such as this: "Hey!!!
