Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Guide to Turnback Cave:

1.	Fly to Veilstone and take the Route to the south to get onto route 214. Continue going south until you come to a path to the right that wasn’t there when you first played the game. When you enter the path it will put the name “spring path”. On your journal it will be described as the fourth lake of Sinnoh that was kept secret.

2.	When you enter Spring Path you will see a section of grass. Go to the top right of the grass and you will see a place where you will need to use rock climb. Go up. When you get up you will need defog (or not if you follow directions closely). When you get to the top go to the right. You will see that the path takes the shape of a circle. Just continue along the circle till you reach the top. At the top you will see another place to rock climb. It will bring you down to the “pond”. To your left you will see a cave entrance.

3.	When you enter the cave there will be a large “pedestal” in the middle of the room with writing on it. It will explain about the 3 pillars and stuff. You will notice doors to your: east, west, north, and south. In this part you only take each door once. So when you pick your room don’t go the same direction again. Go back through the door you just came through to go back to the previous room. If you take a wrong turn you will end up in a room with rocks that can be smashed. The only Pokemon wild in these rooms is haunter (they are no where else). When you go through the doors and find all 3 pillars then chose the last direction left you will find Giratina.

4.	When catching Giratina I would advise bringing along some level 80s they will weaken Giratina and have a Pokemon with good speed to use thunder wave to paralyze it. When most people do it they get it to critical health (red) paralyze it then throw a dusk ball (works good in caves and at night) at it. It usually works on the first try.

5.	 To get out just use an escape rope or just walk out any door to appear either in the main room or any random room.

         hIf you appear in the main room just leave.

         h If you appear in a random room just go back and you should appear in the main room.
