---------------------------- 02 INTRODUCTION ----------------------------------


     As an item Guide, I want to analize every item in the Game "Mistery 
Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS". Why am I doing this? Well, I think this is
one of the best games in this console, and I want to do a good tribute to it,
making an accesible guide for everyone that want to know more about the World
around Shiren.

     You will be wondering: How do you know about all items' special 
properties, buy and sell prizes, etc? Well, I'm basing some things of this 
guide in a Japanese one that comments these values. If you want to know more, 
try to access this guide: "Fushigi no dungeon: Fuurai no Shiren DS Perfect 
Guide". But I warn you: It's in Japanese Language...

------------------------ 03 GENERAL TIPS ABOUT ITEMS --------------------------


- All items, good or bad ones, can be used on yourself and on monsters. To
  receive the magic bolt of a staff, use it on an Air Devil monster. The bolt
  will be deflected and you will receive the bolt.

- Cursed weapons, shields and armbands lose their good or bad properties and
  you can't unequip them. Cursed arrows can't be shot and you can't unequip
  them. The other cursed items can't be used, and in the case of Jars, they
  lose their special properties. Be careful when using one, because you will
  waste a turn.

- Monster's meats have many uses. If you eat one, you will transform into
  that monster and gain its abilities!! But also remember that if you throw
  them, the target will be transformed into that monster too. That means, even
  not useful meats like Mamel and Robber ones, can be thrown to a high leveled
  monster to transform it. I didn't put the meat information in this FAQ, 
  you can find it in the Monster FAQ instead.

ATTACK POWER: Only refers to weapons. It affects damage done to enemies.

DEFENSE POWER: Only refers to shields, It affects damage done by enemies.

BUY PRIZE: The prize of the item when you find in a shop.

SELL PRIZE: The prize of the item when you put in a shop to sell it.

SPECIAL PROPERTY: The effect of the item.

DUNGEONS: The dungeons/floors where that item can be found. There are 8
           dungeons in this game:

            - Road to Kobami Valley: the trial dungeon (5 floors)
            - Kobami Valley: The main dungeon (30 floors)
            - Tainted Path: Main dungeon's continuation (Floor 31~99)
            - Ceremonial Cave: The Kigny dungeon (30 floors)
            - Ravine of the dead: Where you have to find Pekeji (50 floors)
            - Kitchen God Shrine: the "meat" dungeon (99 floors)
            - Scroll Cave: the "trap" dungeon (99 floors)
            - Final Puzzle: the Fay's last problem (99 floors)

          The item can be found in 4 ways:

            - Floor: the item is found when wandering in the dungeons.
            - Shops: the item is found in a shop.
            - Jar of Change: the item is found when you use a Jar of change.
            - Walrus Drop: when you kill a Walrus, if it didn't steal before
                   from you, it can drop the item. In general, the Jar of
                   Change items and the Walrus drop items are the same.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Some items can be obtained only by doing some special quests.

     Weapons raise your attack, therefore, you will be doing more damage to
enemies when you equip one. However, there are some weapons that have special
abilities. Those special abilities can be fused with other weapons by using a 
melding jar.

     The main purpose of food is to recover your fullness. If your hunger meter
becomes 0, you will start to lose HP points until you die. You will start with
100 fullness, and the hunger meter will decrease by 1 point every 10 turns in
normal conditions. If you equip a Critical Armband, a Recover Armband, or an 
Armorward, your hunger meter will decrease at faster speed (1 point every 5
turns). If you equip a Hide Shield, your hunger meter will decrease by 1 point
every 20 turns.
