[meee] ============================================================= First of all, I would like to welcome you to my Megaman ZX FAQ, or for some of you, Rockman ZX, but I'll be sticking with Megaman. First of all, you should know that this is not a Spoiler-Free walkthrough, so please don't expect a warning of Spoilers. Oh! And if you find a typo, don't be afraid to tell me. Also, any Ideas will be appreciated! ^^ In this walkthrough, I used the English version of this game, and used this FAQ for Aile. Just pointing that out, Nii. And By the way, this is NOT a 'Get all the Data Disks through your playthrough' walkthrough. I'm sure there would be a Data Disk FAQ around. If not, it will be coming soon. ^^ ============================================================= About Megaman ZX [lrny] ============================================================= Megaman ZX follows mostly the style of Megaman Zero, except now there is the "M.E.G.A" system, also known as "Meta-Encapsulated Granule Awareness System". It allows your character to "MegaMerge", using something called "BioMetals". BioMetals are objects that can grant the wielder the combat data of the warrior. Then there's the new Sub Screen function. During gameplay, press the 'Start' button and you'll be taken to the Sub Screen. There are Four different screens to see. They are known as Status, Item, Options, and Mission screens. Press L/R buttons to toggle between them. Status Screen: Shows your current model, Remaining HP, Weapon used, Sub Tank, Play Time, E-Crystals, and remaining lives. Lives can be increased by getting a '1UP' which can be received by defeating Enemies or finding them through different stages, Your HP can be restored by collecting 'Life Energy'. If your HP is full, and you have a Sub-Tank which is not full, the Life Energy will be transferred to your Sub-Tank, so that you can use it when you need to restore your HP. Item Screen: In this screen, there are three Item columns which are separated. They are called 'Item A', 'Item B', and 'Item C'. - Item A are mostly items which help you. Once used, they will disappear. - Item B Items are Extension chips which can be equipped. You can switch them On/Off to equip or un-equip. - Item C are important Items such as special card keys, to continue your progress. Mission Screen: This shows your current Mission and a map with areas you already visited. Yellow Icons are TranServers which are used to transport, while Red Icons means a Semi-TranServer, which cannot be used for transport. Options Screen: See the 'Controls' section in this walkthrough. Then there's the New 'Mission' system. Early in the game, there are kinds of missions that you can choose. To unlock different missions, you have to either trigger a certain event in the game, or defeat another Mission. When you are choosing your Missions in the 'Mission Requests' option, there are lists of missions you can currently take. There are two kinds of Missions. One are missions which affect the Storyline, while others are optional missions. Missions which affect the storyline are highlighted in green, while the optional Missions are hhighlighted in blue. To learn more about the Mission, choose 'Hear Description' after pressing the 'A button' at a mission. ============================================================= The Biometal System [bion] ============================================================= As said above, it gives the wielder combat data of the warrior. You can collect Biometal during certain events in the game, and from most defeated Bosses. When you defeat certain boss characters, you will acquire their Biometals automatically. Bosses that have Biometal with them has a certain weak point. Each boss has a different weak point. If you attack the weak point, there's a good part and a bad part of it. The good part is that your attacks will cause more damage than normal. Sounds good, right? Kind of. The bad part is, the more you attack the boss' weak point, which is the Biometal, the more E-Crystals you have to use to repair the Biometal. If you want to Repair a Biometal, talk to a scientist named Fleuve later in the game. You can still Megamerge with the Model, but the Biometal's max gauge will be Lower than normal. You'll know how's your Biometal after you defeated the Boss when the words "LEVEL * VICTORY!" The Victory System goes like this. 'Level 4 Victory' Is the highest you can go. It means you haven't hit it's weak point even once, and the Biometal remains undamaged, so no repairs. 'Level 3 Victory' is when you hit it's weakpoint a few amount times. You have to repair it once to reach it's maximum gauge. 'Level 2 Victory' is when you hit it's weakpoint an average amount of times. You have to repair it two times to reach it's maximum gauge. 'Level 1 Victory' is when you hit it's weakpoint many many times. You have to repair it three times to reach it's maximum gauge. You can get 'Level 4 Victory' the first time you fight the boss. Even if you don't, you'll be able to fight the boss again as the game progresses. Let's move on to "Overdrive Invoke System", aka OIS. It allows you to temporarily boost the strength of your attacks and also adds your Model's element to your weapon. To activate it, press the A button. OIS is however only available to certain models. When you activate it, Overdrive will slowly deplete your Biometal gauge. Overdrive stops when your Biometal gauge is empty. You can cancel Overdrive by pressing the A Button again. If your Biometal Gauge however runs out, you can pick up certain Items called 'Biometal Energy'. Then there's the Elements. There are three Elements altogether,. Fire, Ice, and Thunder. These can be very useful if you use them well. Fire beats Ice Ice beats Thunder Thunder beats Fire Get that, Nii? ============================================================= Controls [omgy] ============================================================= I'm not sure if anyone needs a section on this, but in case anyone gets confused with the controls, I will put them here. These controls can be found in the ZX Booklet, but those for you who brought the Pirate version... Press Left or Right to switch tabs, and press down or A to move the cursor to the settings column, while pressing B to cancel. These are your lifesavers in case something bad happens. - Take Advantage of the Elements! As said in the 'Biometal System' Section, these can be very useful if used well. Use the power of the elements to defeat the bosses/Pseudoroids easily! - Get Life Ups when you have the Chance! If you are a beginner or not confident of getting through a stage, get these! These are also very handy even for players who have good gaming experience. - Memorize your enemies' movements. If you memorize them, I can trust you that this game will turn into a breeze for you, and you'll find your enemies more easier. - You can cut Life Energy E-Crystals and Biometal Energy with a saber! Doing this can split the Item into small Life energy, small E-Crystals or small Biometal Energy. You can only however cut Medium/Big sized Life Energy, Medium E-Crystals and Medium sized Biometal Energy. ============================================================= Characters [char] ============================================================= Vent and Aile: The heroes of the game Megaman ZX. Both Vent and Aile work for the delivery company company, Giro Express. Vent is brave and fearless, while Aile is a clear-headed person. Both of them lost their parents during the Maverick attack when they're small. Their life takes a turn one day during a delivery of Biometal... Girouette: Short for Giro, he is the owner of Giro Express. Vent and Aile calls him 'Boss' and is a really smart person. It is said that he is somehow affiliated with the group, Guardian. Prairie: The commander of the Guardians, and was found early in the game. She hired Giro Express to transport the Biometal. She also has a stuffed animal which is precious to her. Fleuve: Vice Commander of the Guardians, and an expert scientist. He dedicates himself in the study of Biometal. He plays a role in the game in Fixing your Biometal. The Guardians: They are under the Leadership of their commander, Prairie. The Guardians are a group who protect towns from Maverick attacks, as well as being involved with investigations. Pseudoroids: These are the bosses of Megaman ZX. They possess the ability to regenerate themselves. If they are left alone, they are able to come back to life automactically. Most of them wield Biometals. Other Characters: There are other characters throughout the game, but to avoid spoilers, their names shall be concealed... ============================================================= English Version Changes [engy] ============================================================= There has been a few changes to the original version of ZX. - No Voice acting during dialogs. - The Cutscene Animations has been subtitled. Also, a few names has been changed. ============================================================= Prologue [prol] ============================================================= This is the story about Vent or Aile, who lost his or her mother after a year ago. They now work for a man name "Girouette", or "Giro", who owns a delivery service called "Girouette Express". One day, Giro gets a request to transport a package under a contract of a group called "Guardian". Little did they know this request will change Vent or Aile's life... ============================================================= Walkthrough [walk] ============================================================= Alright, before you start kicking some butt, you should choose a character first. You can choose between the boy or girl, namely Vent or Aile. There isn't much difference between them, just that Vent has less Recoil, but he's shorter in dashing, while Aile is longer in dashing, but has more Recoil. Oh, and some of the lines characters will say will change slightly depending on what character you use. Once you choose your character, you can't change him or her anymore, so, make your decision, Nii~ ^^ The buttons which are explained here are set to TYPE-A. If you customized the controls, keep in mind which button is which. Example if I said that Press Y to shoot your X Buster, and if you changed the button "Y" with the button "X", just press X instead. Get that? I hope so...^^; -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Chapter 1: Time to ROCK! [itro] -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Once you picked your character, look at the small scene of Giro and your character talking. After some talking about the package they are going to deliver to a group called "Guardian", some Mavericks came! And they start shooting Giro's Bike! And it exploded. Oh, and the Mavericks shot your character's bike too. When the Bike Exploded, your character falls down a cliff. But WAIT! Your character survived after the fall! And Giro seems alright! Your character walks forward a little, and you see Model X floating on air, a girl and two soldiers. After much talking, you'll learn that those three people are the Guardian group. But then, a giant snake Mechaniloid comes out to attack! More talking here, and the Soldiers attempt to shoot the snake with their guns. Ahahaha. Puny Guns. The snake knocked them out with it's tail in one hit, thus making the soldiers fall unconscious. Now it's your character's turn to protect the girl! Suddenly, Model X came to your character and... Animation Cutscene time! You'll see an Animation of your character MegaMerge with Model X. And your character shoots the snake Mechaniloid with his/her X Buster. I take back what I say about puny guns now. Oh, and the snake ran away. More talking, and such. You'll learn the girl's name is Prairie lalala. Once that's over with, you get to control your character! First, let's get a small run about Model X. VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Model X (Fight For Everlasting Peace!) VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Main Weapon: X Buster Sub Weapon: None Element: None Special Abilities: - Saves another charge shot once fully charged Touch Screen: None Notes: Model X has just the Buster, but it's good enough. It's designed to be used in distanced battles. It can charge into Four Levels. The first level is pressing the Y button, which shoots out a pea-sized energy shot which doesn't do much damage. You can keep on pressing it rapidly to do more damage. The Second level is by holding the Y button. Release the button when your charge turns green, and your character will shoot a small green energy shot. The third charge is by holding the Y Button Longer. Release the button when your charge turns orange, and your shooting a big blue energy shot. The Fourth level is...Well, If you keep on holding the Y Button, even if your charge turns orange, a sub-charge will appear. If you release the Y-Button, it will shoot out the big blue energy shot, but your sub-charge will remain. If you press Y, your character will shoot a more powerful shot than the third charge. You can also Buster Combo. Meaning when you're in your Fourth Level, Fire them both together. Useful against bosses. VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V And also a bit of things about your Human form! VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Human Form (The 'Almost' Useless form!) VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Main Weapon: None Sub Weapon: None Element: None Special Abilities: Guess what? None Touch Screen: None Notes: You can't wall kick, you can't dash, and you can't attack. You might be thinking "Oh, what a stupid form this is! So this form is useless and does nothing! Mei, why are you explaining this!?" Yes. True. This form IS KINDA stupid. You can't attack enemies in battle, nor you can't dash, but it can do things which other forms can't. One is... Crouching! You can Crouch through tight spaces while other models can't Crouch. Press Down to crouch. You can also Crouch-walk Left/Right by holding down the Down button and press Left or Right. The second is Swimming. If you enter the water in this form, you will float on the surface. This is not really an ability but... if you're in Human form, some enemies won't attack you. That's because the enemies will respond only if they find you with a weapon. This only works in the Inner Areas, though. (Those Areas which are outlined in blue on your map) VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Okay, you can kick butt now. ^^ -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Area A-1 -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Now that you can control your character, I suppose you want to blast things now. You don't have to do this if you want to, but you should go to your left first. There's some things you should pick up. Oh, and if you haven't know yet, you can change Models pressing the "X" button to switch between Model X and Human form. You'll get more Models later, too. I'll say this again. Human form can't attack, but it has the ability to crouch. Oh, I forgot. In case you don't know, press "Up" to go into doors. If you went left, I suppose you already got a Data Disk and some few things. Once you're done, let's go right. This is pretty self- explained. Run around, and shoot your enemies. Blam Blam! In time, you'll get used to the controls of the game. And if you see a yellow door, you can't go in yet, so forget about it for now. ^^ -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Area A-2 (Part 1) -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Same thing. Run around, shoot things. Shortly, you will come across the snake Mechaniloid which attacked you earlier. Boss Fight Time! ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BOSS FIGHT: GIGA ASPIS (Snake thingy) ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Weakness: None Resistance: None Weakpoint: None Attacks: - Dive Giga Aspis will raise it's head and attempt to dive to the other side of the screen, and returning to it's normal position at the other side of the screen. - Rock Throw Giga Aspis will retreat, and slam it's tail on the ground, making Rocks fall to you. - Poison Throw Giga Aspis' orbs on it's body will start flashing, and it will throw 4 green balls at you. Notes: Well, This is your first Boss fight! The only thing you can hit is it's head. It's body is...indestructible. When it uses Dive, quickly dash to the middle of the screen. If it uses Rock Throw, jump. Shooting the Rocks help too. If it uses Poison throw, just Jump somewhere or stay close to him. Either way, he's easy to beat. Good luck! ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> After you beaten the snake, watch the snake explode! Woooo~. Your character and Model X will start talking to each other. Luckily no one's around, or they'll see your character talking to him/herself. Ha ha. Kidding. Anyways, continue on and you'll see a door. If you forgotten, or didn't read either way, press Up to go to it. ^^ Welcome to the Transerver Room! You will be finding these rooms a lot. Your character will say that Prairie is in trouble and all the soldiers are all worried about her and went to check on her. There's a tiny old Man named Fleuve too. More talking. After the whole talking, go to the machine located at the front of the room and press Up. You'll get Three options. (Select a Mission) (Save, Load or Erase Data) (Exit Menu) There's an extra option called "Transport" later in the game. I recommend you to save your Data first, but now, let's look at Mission Requests. There are two missions. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] Title: Locate Giro Description: The transporter Giro appears to have met with Maverick aggression in Area B. Go to Area B and find his whereabouts. Title: Pass the Test Description: There's a trial you need to pass in order to obtain permission to enter Guardian HQ. There are undercover Guardians hiding among the inhabitants of Area C. Locate them and bring back proof that you passed the trial. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] In this Walkthrough, I'm going to go choose the missions which appear the first on the screen, which is "Locate Giro". ^^ Once you accept a mission, a flashy "Mission Start" will appear. Note you cannot take two missions at the same time. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Chapter 2: Finding Giro [fund] -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Once you accepted the request, you should notice a small Icon with a "G" at the top left of your screen. That means a mission is currently in progress. Exit from the Right door. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area A-2 (Part 2) ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Welcome back to Area A-2! Get up on the ledge, and feel free to blast that Giraffe at the left. I recommend you to do so, since there's a Data Disk behind it. Forget about killing the Giraffe completely. It'll revive itself either way. Continue up the ledge and you will see a door...or hole. Whatever works. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area B-1 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ What the? How did a hole end up leading you in a place like this!? Sorry, talking to myself. Anyways, Welcome to Area B! Your character will notice that there was a fight here. After the scene, go right. Go ahead and blast that barrel if you want. Oh, and there's a Metool which can attack you...with a lightsaber. Cute! But Dangerous. It won't attack you if you're in human form, though. Anyways, keep on going right, and blast things. If you keep going right, you will find something Shiny. You know you want to take it, so Take it! It's a computer Chip. If only ours can shine like that! Then there's a small scene between your character and Prairie. She'll tell you to find the chips and take them. Now, continue on going right. You'll find a small door/hole. Feel free to enter it. You'll find a met guarding a Life Energy (Full). Once you're done, continue right. From this point, stop destroying barrels. You need to use them to get a Computer Chip. Continue on. When you reach a yellow door with two barrels, jump on the barrels and grab that Computer Chip. Okay, you can start destroying Barrels again. Too bad there isn't any to be found as you continue on. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area B-2 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Continue on right and blast more things. There's another computer Chip guarded by a Death Yo-Yo (Those Green things which are like a Yo-Yo.). Blast it, and get it. Continue on right, until you see a ladder below you. Go down, and grab that Data Disk at the left. There's a door at the right, leading to another transporter room. Feel free to recover and save. Stay away from the plane's cargo doors so you won't get hit by it's "Box Summon". One they're done landing, use your charge shot to shoot the Yellow Box as soon as the Yellow box's orb turns red. This will make the top box hit the Jet, dealing...lots of damage. If the boxes fire out...Balls, dash under them. After the dialog cutscene of talking, you'll notice that the G Logo on your top left screen is blinking. That means your mission is done. Head back to the transporter room and select "Mission Report". ... Is it me, or does anyone besides me find the blipping sound of your Mission being complete Annoying? -.-; Head back to your left and blast more stuff. Yay. Continue on, Head down the ladder and go to the door on the Right. Select Mission report and you'll get some Energy Crystals (EC). Mission Complete! The only mission left for now is... Go down the ladder and talk to that green soldier over there, starting the trial. If you still don't know how to talk to people, press "UP" when you're in front of them. Feel free to talk to the townspeople if you wish. Keep in mind be in human form when you talk to them, otherwise they will say mean things to you. D= Go right and run past the door to Area A-2 and enter the door. (Or house.) You'll see a woman inside wearing the green uniform like the soldier before. She'll talk to you, and she'll teleport off. One down! Exit the house and go right. You'll find another door. Enter it. You will find a small space at the bottom of you. Crouch- walk under it. (Hold down and press left or right) You'll find another green uniformed person! Talk to him and he'll teleport off. Once that's done, jump and grab the Blue shiny thing (Energy Crystals) and Crouch-walk back. Continue to run right, until you reach the last 'house' in Area C-1. Those Lightsaber Mets are inside! Jump over there and you'll see another person in a green uniform. Talk to him and he'll teleport off. Exit the room. Anyways, continue right and start crouch-walking if you see a tight space! ^^ You'll soon reach... ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area C-2 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Run all the way right, Crouch-walking under the trucks and such. Once you Crouch-walked under the second truck, you will end up near a white building. There's a small hole at the building, so that means you can Crouch-walk under it. After that, you'll find a big guy. Really really Hard to miss. Talk to him. After you talked to him, you get a transmission from Prairie, saying you found them all. Now head right until you meet a green guard. He's near a building which has a "DATA" sign on it. Talk to him and you'll get... a Stuffed Animal!? Cute! Once that's done with, head to the Building which says "DATA" on it and approach the Red computer. Select Mission Report and... Mission Complete! [hqfy] -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+--+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+--+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+--+-+- After your Mission Complete thing, a transmission comes in. Hey, it's Fleuve! The blue old man we saw in our first Transerver room! He says you now have permission to go to HQ. That's good news! However, there's one problem. You know that red computer you're using? Well, it's called a Semi- Transerver. It only does one thing. Manage your Missions and Data Management. But since you have no missions right now, you can only Save your Data. Once you're done saving, head back through the left door. The right door leads you to Area D-1, which you will be there soon. Get out from the Left door, and go back all the way to Area C- 1. Oh, and feel free to transform to Model X and dash all the way back. The robots will attack you, though. So, it's your choice! Run all the way back to the Left end of C-1 and climb up the ladder. Enter the door and you'll be in the Transerver room. Activate it, and see the option "Transport" there? Choose it! By now, there are two options. One to go to "Area A-2, Forest" and the other is "Area X-1, Guardian HQ". Guardian HQ is where you want to go, so, choose that! You'll be transported to the Guardian HQ. Another Dialogue scene! Looks like Giro, Prarie and a soldier is waiting for you! Your character is amazed that the HQ is an Airship. Your character will give Prairie the computer chips and the Stuffed Animal. Giro also scolds you for calling Prairie by her first name and he starts muttering about kids. Lol. Everyone leaves the room, with only you inside. Get out of the room and... ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area X ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Welcome to Area X, HQ of the Guardians! Everyone knows you around here, so you can talk to them while transformed, unlike the townspeople in Area C. If you go right, you'll find a lift. Press up to go up one floor and down to go down one floor. If you want, I recommend you to get all the Data Disks around the ship. Feel free to explore around the ship, talk to the people, and such. Once you're done, go back to Level 03 using the elevator and go all the way to the left. You'll end up in the Command room. Prairie will introduce herself as...Commander of all the Guardians! Once the Dialogue scene is done, head through a white colored door and you'll end up seeing...Lots of toys! ^^ There's a toy hanging at the upper left corner of the room which you can play with, and get an E-Tank after hitting it many times, but I'll get to that later. Go left and you'll find a Data Disk. Exit the room and get out through the Right-most door. Once you get out, see the words "LAB" on the top? Enter that room. Looks like Mr.Giro is talking to the old man. Cutscene time! After that's over, the Alarm will sound! Looks like there's Mavericks at Area D! Giro points out that it's right next to a company called Slither Inc.'s head office. There will be a cutscene in the Command room. After much talking, Vent/Aile will be in anger and plans to stop the Mavericks. Giro tries to stop him/her, but your character left anyway. Giro comes into the scene in Model Z, saying how important your character is to him. Giro will dash off then. Once when you got control of your character, head right and shoot stuff! After a while, you'll find two paths leading up or down. The down path leads you to Area B-2, while the upper path is where you should go. Go up, and you'll find a control panel. For SOME reason, you have to shoot it to pull the level down. So...Shoot the level. A bar will go down, filling your path. Carry on now. Continue right and fall down the first hole you see. See the switch flashing red? Shoot it! The door below it will open. Go right and you'll get a Life Energy and a Life up! ^^ Life Ups increase your Life gauge, which is very handy if you get hit a lot or facing tough enemies. Just at the left of you is a met and a Data Disk. Grab the Data Disk, and blast the Met if you want. Poor met. Once you're done, head back up and continue right. Oh, and there's a Data Disk on the way too. See if you can spot it. Continue on, and you'll find a fallen soldier. Every beam will be much more farther than the last. - Jump n' Slash A "Ting!" sound can be heard. After that, Giro will jump up screaming "YAAAH!" while he slashes you with an extended saber. - Z Formation Giro jumps to one of the top corner of your screen and somehow "clings" to it, and will move to the opposite bottom corner by forming a "Z" Form. Notes: Uh oh~ You're fighting Giro. At first, it's a bit to understand his moves, but you'll get understand his battle pattern later. Keep on shooting Charge shots at him. Also keep your distance away from him, and you'll win soon. The only two attacks which doesn't involve Distance much is his Saber Beams and Z Formation attack. If he does Saber Beams, wait for one beam to pass through and dash over it. If he does Z-Formation, jump over him as he lands on the ground. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> After you won Giro, it's Dialog cutscene time! The guy who made Giro fight you calls himself "Serpent". After much talking later, you will receive Model Z, and an Animation of your character turning into Model ZX! The ZX Buster works like the X Buster, except you can't keep your charge shot anymore. Your charge shot also becomes more powerful. Your new toy, the ZX Saber, does good damage, but you have to get close to the enemy to damage the enemy, unlike the ZX buster. It comes with a few attacks. One attack of the ZX Saber is the basic Triple slash. Press it rapidly and your character will perform a Three slash combo. Another is the charge slash. Lastly is a Jump and spin slash. Jump and hold up while pressing the attack button. Your character will find out a Slither.INC's airship took off! Prairie will ask you to return to the Command Center. Aww...And you SO wanted to destroy enemies with your new Model, right? Don't worry. You will soon. Prairie will start talking to your character about what this guy, Serpent, is trying to do. Prairie will start saying something about a Model called "Model W". Before you go anywhere, I suggest you get "Eraser Chip" from Carrelet in the first room at Floor 02. Now go back to the Transerver room. Once you activated the machine, an Operator will ring up, and give you a 'Yellow Card Key'. It's simple of what this little card does. Remember those Yellow doors you can't open? Well, you can enter them now. Choose Mission Requests and you have... [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][ Title: Search the Plant Description: I've detected a Biometal signature in Area E outside the residential district. Slither Inc. owns the power plant there. The facility was raided by Mavericks a long time ago. Ever since then no one has dared go anywhere near it. Investigate the plant in retrieve the Biometal. Title: Find the Survivors Description: I've detected a distress call coming from Area F. There are Maverick and Biometal signatures in close proximity. Whoever sent the distress call is being pinned down by the Mavericks. It's likely that they are innocent civilians trying to flee. Head to Area F to rescue those people. Secure the Biometal while you're at it. Title: Fight the Mavericks Description: The office district in Area G is under heavy fire from the Mavericks. There are several Guardians in the area, but they're calling for backup. I'm also detecting the presence of a Biometal signature among the Mavericks. Head to Area G and face down the Maverick threat. Title: Secure the Biometal Description: The radar is picking up a Biometal Signature. It's on the move and has entered Area H on its own. Area H is where the amusement park was attacked in a Maverick raid ten years ago. It's abandoned, but it seems as though some of the machinery is still in operation. Head to Area H and secure the Biometal. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][ So, let's start with the first mission on the list, which is "Search the Plant". I'm sure you already know how to transport, so I'm not going to explain it. Anyways, once you're done, head over to Area C-1, which is the Right door. Go all the way to Area C-2, which is all the way to the right. In Area C-2, again, go all the way to your right and past the big fountain with a met on it. Prairie will start talking about the plant, and asks you to be careful. Well, once that's done, dash forward. NOW it's time to put your Model ZX to the test! And notice how nice the effects are when you slash enemies with your ZX Saber. They hurt. You can hear them and watch the electricity pass, though. Continue on, and you'll find another Death Yo-Yo. Destroy it, and head down the ladder. See that little spinning electric mill there? Be patient, and with the right timing, pass through it. Go down and you'll find another one. Same method. ^^ Go down the ladder and kill that soldier over there. You'll see the same spinning electric mill, only it's spinning at a different direction. See that switch popping out from the floor? Step on it, and the mill will change direction. Go past the Mill and find another Yo-Yo over there. Blast it, and go down the ladder. There are also hidden E-Crystals at the left corner of the screen. Destroy the Next Yo-Yo above you. Do you see a switch? It's the same one from before, except don't press it now. It's going to the direction you wanted it to go. Go ahead and pass through~ You'll see a door eventually. Go inside and you'll be in... ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area E-4 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ The first enemy you will find is an enemy which shields itself and attempts to shoot you. Time your buster properly and shoot it. Don't take too long however. These things become more powerful every time they shoot a bullet. The most powerful they can get is when they shoot 3 shots. Anyways, climb up the ladder, destroy those two things if you want to, and go up the ladder again. Go right, and you'll soon see Metal Gears rotating. Dash jump in all 6 of them. It's okay if you fall down, though. You'll just be encountering those shield-and-shoot enemies below. Continue on and go down. You'll soon find a conveyor belt. Let's go get ourselves a Sub tank now! From the first reel, dash-jump right and you'll see an enemy guarding the Sub Tank. Defeat it, and claim the Sub Tank! For those of you who are new to the Megaman series, Sub Tanks are like Life containers. If your Life Bar is full, and you grabbed a Life Energy, the Energy will be stored inside your Sub Tank. If you need to restore your Life Bar, you can use your Sub Tank if it's filled! Isn't it useful? Go back down and continue right. ^^ After moving right for a short while and you'll see...A crusher. BLAGH. You'll get Instant Death by this, so, don't get crushed. Continue all the way to the right until you see a ladder. Before you climb up the ladder, continue right and you'll pick up a hidden Data Disk. And it wants to smash you! ...Yay! I recommend you using your ZX Buster. If it's spikes are raised down, wall climb up and shoot it at the head. If it raise up it's spikes, remain on the ground and shoot. Shiny~ Anyways, head towards the door at the right and then, the left door. Yes. That's it for Area E-6. Once the Cutscene is over between you and Prairie, continue on right. Avoid the electric lines, and go all the way down. You'll notice an enemy which is like a cannon. Sadly, you can't destroy it, but you can make it change direction by shooting or slashing it. So, let's continue on to the right. Climb up the ladder, destroy stuff, climb ANOTHER ladder (GEEZ! Thankfully, this is the final ladder in the stage.) and go right. Again. You will find some platforms. Don't fall down! It leads to instant death. Now why would be a thing like that in a Power Plant? Be quick about jumping on the platforms. They can fall. Continue right and...hey! Unusually, a green Maverick has been waiting for us! A small dialog scene will take place. And you'll know that the Maverick's name is The Model H Pseudoroid, Hivolt. Hivolt will shoot beams from his two claws attemting to shoot you three times. He will dash to you while his claws are still rotating. - Lightning Volt (2) Part 2 of his Volt attack. Hivolt will fly off the screen and place two of his claws at two of the four corners of the screen. The claws then start firing beams at different directions. - Slashy slash slash Hivolt will come down and tries to slash you two times, then he will send an energy wave to you, and he will fly back up. - Tail Lightning Hivolt will shoot out a lightning to the ground, and fly to the other side of the screen, along with the lightning. - Quadruple Lightning beam Hivolt will fly off as he shouts "AHAHAHAHA!" (Corny laugh! ^^;) and reappear on the top center of the screen, and open his wings and attempt to shoot you with lightning beams. Before he shoots out the lasers, you can see thin red lines of where the lasers are going to be shot. Notes: Is it me, or do I love his voice? o_o; Anyways, This is your first Biometal Boss/Pseudroid! If you still don't know much about Biometal bosses, I suggest you read "The Biometal System" on top of this walkthrough. He's not that hard. Just keep your distance from him, charge your saber, and slash him. If he's performing Lightning Volt (1), watch where the beams are shot, find an opening, and jump over. The attack which does most damage is his Quadruple Lightning beam. But they're easily avoidable if you pay close attention. Watch the thin red lines' position, and avoid those lines. In very rare occasions, he will use his Tail Lightning attack. I only saw it a few times, though. To avoid it, stay close to the lightning. If the lightning suddenly disappears, quickly dash past it. If you're looking for a level 4 Victory, refrain from hitting the Wings. ^^ ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Watch Hivolt explode, and you'll see a Biometal floating after that. The Biometal calls itself "Model H", and after some talking later, Model H joins you! You got yourself a Model Hx! Now go ahead to silver door and you'll end up in a Transerver room! Go ahead and file in your Mission Report. Get a few E- Crystals in exchange, and you get a Green Key Card. Score! Oh yeah. And here's a small briefing of Model Hx. Currently, you can't use the Second Charge attack, since Model Hx is not 'complete' yet. To complete it, you have to defeat another Boss/Pseudroid who has the other half of Model H, whom you'll face later. Right on to the weapons. By default, your Main weapon is the short sword and your long sword. You can do a combo with it, but it's unlike Model ZX. The combo is by the following: Short Sword, Long Sword, Short Sword. Model HX can also Air Dash. To do this, jump and hold either left, right, or up to dash the direction you want to go. And while in the air, Model Hx can hover down to the ground. You should also notice that at the Touch Screen (The Bottom screen) has something called "Analyzing Enemy". This is useful if you want to locate the weak point of a Boss/Predatoroid. It also shows the Enemies' Health bar. (It's a small red bar below the enemies' picture.) Note: I learned this from Shakai. After you get your Second Charge attack, you can perform a really neat combo. First, you activate your OIS, then perform your Tornado Strike ability. This not only kills Fire enemies (Yes. Even the Bosses/Pseudoroids.) if used properly, but it saves you time. Thank you! * You cannot use Charge attacks if your Biometal gauge is empty. To restore your Biometal gauge, you need to collect 'Biometal Energy'. (For recovering your Biometal gauge). Yep. That's it. Head all the way back and back into the transerver room. This is optional, but you can now grab another Sub Tank. Transport yourself to Area A-2 and enter the door through the left side. Once out, dash left until you see the Death Yo-Yo. Instead of going through the tunnel, Use Model Hx's dash up ability and keep going to your left. Jump on those branches (or platforms) and once you see the Sub tank, get under the platform from where the Sub Tank is. Dead end, I know. Wall- kick the left wall and you'll find a secret passage! Grab the Sub Tank and be happy about it, Nii!~ Alright, now let's go to the Transerver room and look at our current Missions! [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] Title: Find the Survivors Description: I've detected a distress call coming from Area F. There are Maverick and Biometal signatures in close proximity. Whoever sent the distress call is being pinned down by the Mavericks. It's likely that they are innocent civilians trying to flee. Head to Area F to rescue those people. Secure the Biometal while you're at it. Title: Fight the Mavericks Description: The office district in Area G is under heavy fire from the Mavericks. There are several Guardians in the area, but they're calling for backup. I'm also detecting the presence of a Biometal signature among the Mavericks. Head to Area G and face down the Maverick threat. Title: Secure the Biometal Description: The radar is picking up a Biometal Signature. It's on the move and has entered Area H on its own. Area H is where the amusement park was attacked in a Maverick raid ten years ago. It's abandoned, but it seems as though some of the machinery is still in operation. Head to Area H and secure the Biometal. Title: Save the People Description: I've detected a Biometal signature in Area I. In addition to the Biometal, there are other signs of life in the area. There's a new mission all the way to the bottom of the list! But let's not do that now. Do that later, ok? Ok~ Choose 'Find the Survivors' Mission and yet again, and another 'Mission Start' appears out of nowhere. I'm sure you remember where it is. Ha ha. You know, that place where you first met Giro in Model Z? Once there, dash all the way to the right until you see a door/hole. You should see two barrels on your right. Jump on them, and make your way to the top. There should be a door/hole below a Mettaur. Go inside! ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area B-3 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Once you come here, there should be a locked door in front of you. See the switch sticking below the ceiling? Use your saber to slash it. Door Open! Continue on right! And destroy enemies! Woohoo! This place shouldn't be a problem. Soon, you'll come across a building. Inside, there will be lots of obstacles blocking your path, but I believe you can make it. Just keep going up. Go up, up, up the building and once you reach the top of the building, you will come to a new area! ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area F-1 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Wow! Snow! Brr... [Note!: This Area is filled with Ice Elemental Enemies, so I recommend you not to use Hx here, since Hx is weak against Ice. So, go with Zx!] Once you come here, Prairie will brief you about your mission. Once that's done, dash right. You'll encounter new enemies along the way too, but they shouldn't be a problem. ^^ Shortly, you will see a pit below you. See that Data Disk being blocked by those crates? You can destroy them. Destroy! Destroy! Once they're gone, you notice they're too tight to reach! You know what to do. Crouch Walk with Human Form! Now fall down to the Pit. I'm serious. Do it. It doesn't do instant death, so don't worry. ^^ Once you're down, destroy the enemies that block your way. Shortly after walking, you'll see Three holes on the ceiling. Don't climb on the first hole! There's a Death Yo-Yo above it. The third hole is nothing. So, climb on the second hole! And destroy stuff while you're at it! Destroy! Jump down, and enter the left door~ ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area F-2 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ When you first come into this room, you can see a small sea here. In case you don't know what water does to you, I'll tell you. ^^ Water makes you lighter and makes you lose mobility. Guess what? This rule applies in the game too! Anyways, enough of the Science talk. Jump down to the water. By the way, Hx can't Air dash on the water because of it's jet packs. You can still use ground dash, though. Once you touch the surface, you should encounter the Maverick soldiers...in some machines which are handing on wires! They are able to shoot water torpedoes to you, but you can avoid them easily. There are two ways of killing them. Either a charge attack, or cut the wire and watch them drown on their watery grave. Whatever works. After that, you should encounter some sort of maze. If you want, take the Data Disk which is at the top of your location. Start from the lower path. Continue by walking right, and soon, you should see a Data Disk above you. Take it if you must and jump above the pit. Then go up. Don't be crazy trying to pass the spiked road at the right! You can't. Once you're up, continue on right, then go up, then go left to the door. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area F-3 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ You're out of the small sea! And a small dialog scene will take place when you enter. Once that's over, continue right. Oh, and I believe you noticed that door with red lasers blocking it. You can't enter now, but you'll enter it soon, so don't worry too much about it. Dash right, and go up on the platforms. Basically, just keep on going up until you meet some Polar Bear throwing Snowballs at you. Snowball Fight! However, It's hurts if the Snowball hits you. Destroy the bear, and go up the ladder. Continue on left, And just go up again. After going up for a long time, (Gragh, Long walks...), you should see a door. It's really hard to miss. It's guarded by Three blocks, so, destroy them, and enter. Hey! It's that Bulldozer thing! vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvv^^^^vvvv MINI-BOSS: CRUSHPACTOR (When Bulldozers seek revenge) vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvv^^^^vvvv Weakness: None Resistance: None Attacks: - Crush! If you go close to the Bulldozer, it'll crush you with it's spikes. - Laser Beam Crushpactor will raise up it's spikes and shoots a blue laser towards you. Notes: It's the same guy again! Except it has different attacks from last time...Sort of. Look at the floor. See that conveyor belt below you? They're playing a part to drag you to the Bulldozer, and Crushpactor will use his 'Crush!' attack on you. Wall-kick and Wall-slide against the left wall to prevent being near it, and use your charged ZX Buster against it. Once it's cannon is destroyed, the conveyor belts will go faster. Good thing you're against the wall, Nii? Continue shooting it, and it'll eventually fall. vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvv^^^^vvvv Once that's done, dash right and enter the door. You'll find yourself in a room with a computer inside. Walk right, and a dialog cutscene will take place. It will talk about 'Biometal Model W'. Once that's done, you will get the Item 'Data Disk'. You can get out of the room now. Remember I was saying something about a door with red lasers blocking it? It's unlocked now! Go to that door. Let's get wet! Again! Jump down, and go right. Also be careful of the spikes sticking out below the ceiling and the floor. You'll soon enter a boss door. Take a deep breath, go inside and the boss is... a small sea bird? Oh. It's just looks like one. The boss and your character will talk about the Data Disk, and the Penguin introduces herself as the 'lovely' Pseudoroid Model L, Lurerre. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BOSS: MODEL L LURERRE (Looks are Decieving!) ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Weakness: Fire Resistance: Thunder Weakpoint: Her head Attacks: - Ice daggers Lurerre will go up and down shooting Ice daggers at you at different directions. - Icy Beam of D00M! Lurerre will shoot out a beam of Ice with an Ice wall in front towards you. - Spikey Mines of Ice Lurerre will swim up and shoot Ice Mines on the floor. - Cyclone Lurerre attempts to suck you in with a cyclone. - Big Torpedo!!! Her big blowfish body will come out with a BIG torpedo from it's mouth. Lurerre will shoot her Ice daggers a few times, and the whale will shoot the torpedo at you. - Time to EAT~ Lurerre will retreat from the screen and her gigantic blowfish body will charge to you, attempting to bite you. After she's done with this attack, Lurerre goes 'AHAHAHA!' (Yet another corny laugh. ^^;) Notes: As I said next to her name, Looks are deceiving! That small body of hers is not her full body! Her full body is a big Blowfish! Be aware of that! I recommend you to stay at the left side of the screen and shoot charge shots at her. If you perform your 'Jump and Spin' ability (Jump + Hold Up + ZX Saber), there's a good chance of damaging the Biometal LOTS of times, and Lurerre will counterattack using her 'Time to EAT~' attack. So I ask you not to do this attack when fighting her, unless you don't mind about spending lots of E-Crystals to repair the Biometal. If she uses Ice daggers, learn it's pattern, and jump at the right timing. When she uses 'Icy Beam of D00M!', there are two ways. One is to slow down the beam with your ZX Buster, and quickly jump. The Second method is my way. Jump, and transform to human form. That way, you'll start floating up, and letting the beam vanish. Looool. And who says Human form is useless in battle. It's useful sometimes. =D However, if your HP is getting low, feel free to use your Sub- Tank. If you are looking for a 'Level 4 Victory', try aiming your ZX Buster's charge Shot properly, and not hitting her head. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Once Lurerre goes BOOM, you will find another Biometal. The Biometal will introduce itself as 'Model L'. See through the Dialog scene, and the Biometal joins you! Now you have Model Lx! VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Model Lx (Beautiful, but deadly.) VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Main Weapon: Halberd Sub Weapon: None Element: Ice Special Abilities: - *First Charge attack: Ice Block - *Second Charge attack (Hold Up and release charge): Ice Dragon - Swim Mode: Press B Button while in water - Water Dash: Press L button to perform a Water Dash while in swim Mode - Item Scanner: Find Items Touch Screen: Item Scanner Notes: This, is Model Leviathan. The Model is designed for water battles, as it's really good in there. In land, it doesn't do much, sadly. You can't use the Second Charge attack now, as it is also not 'complete' like Model Hx. First is your weapon. You only get one weapon, which is the Halberd. In land, it doesn't do much. Just one wide slash with it. However, in water, while in Swim Mode, when you use the halberd, your character will spin the halberd around, damaging your enemies which get close to it. Rapidly press the Halberd button while in Swim Mode makes your character spin it more longer. Speaking of Swim mode, let's get to it. To activate swim mode, press the B Button while you're in water. Your character will be mobile in water. Press the +Control Pad in any Direction to navigate in the water, and press the L button to Water Dash. Your First Charge attack doesn't only damage the enemy, but it helps you make a platform. Inside the water, Use your 'Ice Block' Ability and jump on the block. The block will slowly float up, along with you. Lastly, the Item Scanner! If you look at the touch screen, you should see something which looks like a map. The boxes highlighted in really light blue is the stage, while the really dark blue (The Darkest color in that screen) is the background. You are that cute flashing little dark blue symbol outlined in green. ^^ Oh, and did you notice that Big Orange Circle thing following you? (Psst! Megaman Zero players! Cyber Elf!) That's your Item tracker. When an Item is near you, this little circle will go to the location of the item and stays there. It's helpful for finding Data Disks or Items. ^^ *Again, you cannot use Charge attacks if your Biometal gauge is Empty. From there, go through the left door. Climb up the ladder and head all the way to the right. Enter the door/hole there, and climb up. Once you reached the top, enter the door, and you'll end up in Area D-1. In the Area, dash your way to the right. Same with Area D-2. Dash all the way to your right and you'll meet... ...Yes. THEM. The King Flyers which fought you during the first time you're here. -_- However, you can easily kill the first King Flyer with Model Hx, though. Just use the Short Sword, Long Sword, Short Sword' combo to it. If it goes well, you will take down the thing in 2-3 hits. Standing at the back of it is more easier. You can't do this to the second King Flyer because it's much higher. Anyways. Destroy them. AGAIN, then head to your right. Once you reach the end of Area D-2, you'll come across a door, and a Data Disk. Pick the Disk, and enter the door. Hey! It's a TranServer Room! Feel free to save your game here, and recover. **********END BORDER!!!********** From the TranServer room, enter the door at your right and you'll be in Area D-3. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area D-3 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Welcome to Area D-3. Now, run all the way to your right and destroy things on the way. You should encounter those Shield enemies from the Power Plant here. Continue going left, and into a door. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area G-1 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Welcome to the not-so-beautiful-city of Area G! When you enter, you see the background as...Holy Smokes! A Fire! But as heartless as it sounds, there's nothing you can do to put out THAT fire. [Note!: There are Fire Enemies Lying around here, so don't use Model Lx! Ice is weak against Fire, so use Model Hx or Zx!] Continue on right. There's also some new enemies, but you can handle them. Ha ha. Just be careful not to fall into those pits. There's some lying around here. Continue on right, killing everything you see~ Oh! And Model Hx is useful here. You can air-dash through those flames or over pits. Not only that, but Model Hx's Element can put out flames which are blocking your path. So go ahead and use Model Hx's First Charge Attack, 'Lightning Ball', or activate your OIS (Press A Button) and slash the flames with your saber. Just don't use them so much. They cost Biometal Energy. If you want to make your battle against this stage's Boss/Pseudoroid, who is Fire Elemental, I suggest you seldomly use your Biometal Energy. Better, Don't. You can manage the stage without it! ^^ Continue on right and you see a Guardian Soldier fallen! Uh oh, trouble. He says that the other Guardians went further on to try to save townspeople. However, the Guardians are surrounded by Mavericks. Oh well. It's our turn to save them! It's superhero time! There's lots of stairs here to climb too. Anyways... You are currently in the 'Main Building'. There are new enemies here too. One is a Maverick Soldier comes out from a window, takes out a machine from it's back which shoots out flames to you. Don't stand under it. Don't forget to transform to human form while talking to the townspeople, otherwise they won't accept your help. You don't have to turn back to human form when talking to the Guardians, though. (The Guardians are the people wearing green uniforms) Below, I'll list the people who can be saved inside the building. I'll be starting from the lowest floor, which is Area B-1. By the way, Area G-3 is inside the room at Floor 01. Main Building: - A small boy, located at Floor B1. - A female Guardian, located in Floor 3. - A female Guardian, located in Floor 5. Inside the room at Floor 1: See the Section below saying 'Area G-3'. Inside the room at Floor 2: - An old man behind the Window. (To go through a window, jump on the grey platform and press up, like you're entering a door.) Inside the room at Floor 3: - A male Guardian. - A male Guardian behind the Window. Inside the room at Floor 4: - A Young Girl. Inside the room at Floor 5: - A young lady. (Gives Life Energy) - Small girl behind the Window Inside the room at Floor 6: - A tall woman behind the Window. More Soldiers with flame machines on their back. Make sure you don't get hurt by the flames either. After that, you should see a window you can enter. Once you enter, go right and defeat that Maverick over there, and collect the E-Crystals. Now dash your way to the left, and slash stuff! (Or shoot, if you are using the ZX Buster. ^_^) You should see another window you can go through. Go inside. You should be back inside the building. Keep on going right destroying everything in sight. Wahahaha. You can pick up a Data Disk on the way. Use Hx to air dash over the flames, or put it out if you want, but I recommend you to Air-Dash. You should see a Boss Door at the end. Enter now~ Once you enter, the Boss/Pseudoroid which looks like a Lion, comes to you. A dialog scene takes place. The Boss/Pseudoroid will start teasing you yadda yadda yadda... And also a bit about Model W. He'll introduce himself as Fistleo. And he engages us in combat! Let's go! We also got a fire to put out! ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BOSS: MODEL F FISTLEO (Fist of the Tiger!) ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Weakness: Thunder Resistance: Ice Weakpoint: His Head Attacks: - Super Jump Fistleo jumps up around the field trying to hit you with his body. Is it me, or is he saying'Tree! Tree!' when he is jumping? Hmm. o_o - Beast Restore Fistleo will focus his strength, healing himself. - Energy Release He will send out three energy orbs by his hands. The first black orb will be near his hand, while the second and third black orb will be locked on to you. - Reioh-ken Smash! Fistleo jumps, and breaks the support of the two stones blocks stuck on the ceiling making them fall. Both stone blocks will fall to the ground. Fistleo will then dash to the other side of the room, destroying the blocks. - Flame trail Fistleo will dash to the other side of the screen, leaving a flame trail behind him. He will also send a shockwave up the wall. If you are in his path while he's dashing, he'll throw you in the air, dealing damage. - Energy Focus Fistleo will surround his body in a red aura. He'll throw you off if you try to slash him or get near him. - Fireball He will jump to the middle of the screen, and 2 fireballs will appear from above and below. He'll charge to the other side of the room followed by the fireballs. Notes: The Lion who uses his own style of Kenpo! His weakness is Thunder, meaning... Use Hx! Woohoo! But if you're going for a 'Level 4 Victory', be careful! His weakness is his head... If you're going after it, hit it's legs with OIS. If you're not going for a Level 4 Victory, however, you should have less stress. Take advantage of Hx's OIS. Turn it on when you slash, then turn it off. This saves some Biometal Energy. If you ran out of Biometal Energy for Hx, Switch to Model Zx and keep on using Charge Shots. If he use his 'Reioh-ken Smash!' attack, and the two stone blocks somehow trap you, leaving you at the center of the screen, Use Model Hx, jump, and quickly dash up. His Beast Restore can be a problem in the rear. Use your Hx's OIS and slash him with the saber. He'll get stunned then. He's really hard to predict, since he'll be everywhere around the room. Try to concentrate where will he jump, and you'll win. Good luck to you! He'll also drop a Biometal, namely 'Model F'. Hee hee, I like this Model's personality! ^^ After the Dialog scene is over, Model F joins you, thus you having Model Fx! VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Model Fx (Call upon the Fire Storm!) VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V Main Weapon: Knuckle Buster (Left) Sub Weapon: Knuckle Buster (Right) Element: Fire Special Abilities: - *First Charge attack: Megaton Crash - *Second Charge attack (Hold Down and release charge): Magma Wave - Shoots Upwards: Hold up on your +Control Pad and shoot - Buster Edit: Assign the path of the Buster Touch Screen: Buster Edit Notes: Your Fire Model, Model Fx. Unlike Model X or Model Zx, you cannot charge your Buster, but one bullet does some good damage, so it's good. There are two busters equipped in both of your character's hands(Meaning your character's left and right hands.). Like the other models, you can't perform your second charge attack until later in the game. -_-; Model Fx's First charge attack is the only Element Model which doesn't necessary need Biometal Energy. Charge either your left or right Buster and he/she will perform Megaton Crash, an attack which destroys very touch blocks or objects. If you have Biometal Energy, Model Fx will shoot out a Fireball when this Charge attack is used. Of course, it costs Biometal Energy. Then there's a special ability that no other Model have! Shooting upwards with your buster. I don't see why Model Zx can't do this. Oh well. Anyways, you can remain on the ground while shooting enemies above you. This is handy if you don't want to risk getting damaged by your enemy if you try to jump and attack. ^^ Then there's the Buster Edit Function. This system allows you to change the direction of your buster, instead of just shooting straight. To do this, press the 'Start' button, and press Select, or touch the Touch Screen with your stylus. (Of course you can use other stuff. Don't use sharp objects! It will spoil your Nintendo DS! I recommend the stylus which comes with the Nintendo DS! I know you know this, but I hope you won't do something like that! ^^;) Anyways, back on Megaman ZX. There are Three options below. 'Edit', 'Default', and 'Exit'. 'Edit' is to Edit your Buster Path. 'Default' is...Default. It will shoot completely straight. Finally, 'Exit' is to Exit the Buster Edit Window. Let's choose 'Edit'. Using the stylus (Or an object. Use something blunt which doesn't spoil the Nintendo DS's Touch screen! ^^), see the small little boxes grouped together at the right side of the screen? Assign your path there. You can also choose the path to Edit for Both Left and Right Arms. I'll let you experiment this for yourself. It's more fun trying out yourself than me explaining this to you, right? ^^ *Model Fx is an exception to it's first Charge Attack. It can use Megaton Crash without Biometal Energy but it won't shoot out the Fireball. The Second Charge attack requires Biometal Energy, though. Transport yourself go 'Area F-5 Lake' in the TranServer. Once done, head through the left door. Just go all the way left in Area F-4 too. In Area F-3, jump down, or use your Fx Charge attack to get rid of those Ice Blocks. After jumping down, head left. Go through the next door in front of you. Welcome back to the sea. Unfortunately, you won't be swimming for a while. Dash left and you should see an Ice block stuck at the left wall. Smash it with Fx's Charge attack! Once the path is clear, head left through the newly cleared path. Choose Mode Lx and jump inside the water in Swim Mode. Water dash all the way to the top right of the stage. (Meaning don't go underwater. Just stick to the water's surface.) You'll soon come across a spiked floor, which the Life Up is just beyond there. One way is to use Lx's Ice Block ability. Use it near the spiked road and get on top of it. You should be near the Spikes. Quickly Dash-Jump left, jumping over the spikes. Another way is get hit by those Maverick Fish. After getting hit, quickly hop over the spikes and get your prize. Congrats! There you go! Another Life Up! Now go back to the TranServer room! [NOTE: You can now get the Extension Chip: Frog. Title: Save the People Description: I've detected a Biometal signature in Area I. In addition to the Biometal, there are other signs of life in the area. It looks like some innocent citizens are being held inside of the facility. Head to Area I and free the captives. Title: Recover the Disk Description: We received a report about the Guardian recon unit data disk intercepted by the enemy. The word is that the Slither Inc. unit that has it is on the move. The enemy is transporting it using a tunnel deep under the sea in Area J. Head to Area J and recover the data disk. Title: Attack the Excavators Description: A Slither Inc. unit has been spotted in Area K. They're digging up something. It's big. There's a Pseudoroid with a Biometal fragment overseeing the operation. Head to Area K and recover the Biometal from the Pseudoroid. Shortly, you should see some ramps you could get on. Let's go on the rides! The Lifts! Everything! But we can't because we have a Biometal to take. Look at the dialog scene between you and Prarie. Once that's done, keep on going right, finding new enemies. There are also Mettaurs here, except they don't have lightsabers. Instead, when you destroy them, they're split into three Mini-Mets. Keep on dashing left, and you'll soon see a train. It's your choice to board the train or not. If you do, Mini-Mets will start popping out. If you don't want to, you have to keep on dashing to the right. I recommend you to dash, since it's much more quicker. Pow Mettaur will hide under it's helmet, and it's helmet will start floating. After it floats, it will go to another location. - Balloon Summon Pow Mettaur will spit out balloons. When the balloons pop, an enemy comes out. Different balloon colors will have different enemies inside. The balloons are destroyable. - Mettaur Jump Pow Mettaur will jump do a different location. For something big, it can jump well. ^^ - Mini-Met Pow Mettaur will open a hatch on top of it's helmet, summoning Mini-Mettaurs. Notes: Big Mettaur! And after all this time, some people think Mettaurs are just weaklings. Hope THAT change your mind...Or not. It's still weak. Turn to Model Hx and keep on using Model Hx's 'Short Sword, Long Sword, Short Sword' combo. You will learn that Vent/Aile's parents were attacked ten years ago. He/She will say that this little carnival has lots of memories, both good and bad. Prairie will consult your character, and that's done with! Once you regain control of your character, dash right and you'll come to a small door leading to Area H-3. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area H-3 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ You're inside a Crane Game. This time, YOU as one of the 'toys'. See the crane up there? It will try to grab you and throw you to a pit. Har har. If it misses, watch it grab a random toy. ^^ If you're lucky, the crane might grab a 'Candy' Item, which can be used for restoring your HP. If you really want the candy, keep on avoiding the crane from getting you, and it will take the 'candy' instead of a Random Toy. You can only carry One, however. I forgot to tell you. See the floor with all the toys buried there? They act like quicksand. So if you get sucked in, keep on jumping. This is why your parents don't buy you TOO much toys. ^^; After you get out from the crane game, you will see a new enemy. A floating ball which shoots and shields itself. It's annoying, so ignore it if you must. Keep on going right until you see a ladder above you. Climb on it~ After climbing, continue on right, and climb down the ladder. You'll get barraged by small bullets, if you're not careful. Soonn, You will end up ...Outside? What kind of place is this? There are small little airships which you can jump on to reach to the other side. I recommend using Hx for this, since 'Air- Dash' ability is useful here. ^^ You'll eventually reach a boss door. You know what that means. Go in when ready. Once inside, some...baboon will come to you. He'll start talking about stuff, then you fight. This giggles my amusement. Obviously, just jump over him. - Baboon Balls He'll throw two little balls while swinging on his pole. These balls bounce a couple of times and then explode. To avoid them, just dash under them as they bounce, and be sure to be standing in a good position. - Gum Gum Pole Grab + Explodey Balls He'll extend his arm out and grab the pole above him (this reminds me of Luffy...) and while doing so, throw three bombs to the ground that instantly explode. This is a bit harder to dodge, if you can position yourself to be in between the blasts (and hopefully not under Purprill) do so. You can just wall kick to avoid this too. - Preeetty Sand He'll try and throw some sand at you that'll hurt you. Just dash away from it. - Shuriken Ape He'll start spinning like crazy and act as a shuriken, bouncing off the walls to the top and then back to the bottom. Just dash at the right time to dodge this. Or wall-kick at the right time... - Shuriken Ape ("I HATE THE WALLS" version.) He'll do what he does normal, but near the top he'll stick in a wall and start shredding it up, so rocks will go flying out. Easiest way to avoid this is wall-kick to the top of the opposite wall he's shredding himself into. Notes: This boss rocks. Even though his head is shaped weird. Anyway, he's really easy. If you have thousands of EC to spend, just ZX on him and don't mind the biometal. If you want a level 4 biometal from the get-go, wait t'ill he swings around, and try to hit the lower half of his body with your buster shot. And afterwards, enjoy your shiny and insanely cheap Model PX. Mei's Notes: I think you write the boss Section better than me. I know you're tired of hearing me say this but, this model is also not 'complete' as you can't do your second charge attack. Oh, and this model has a cool red scarf at the back of you. ^^ Your weapon is the Throwing Blades, which is the Japanese Kunai. Both works. Press the Y button for a very short time and you will shoot one blade. Press the Y button a little longer and you will shoot two blades. Press Y more longer and you will shoot three. Press Y even longer and you'll shoot 4 blades. But that doesn't matter much. The real fun in this that it's rapid fire. Rapidly press the Y button and you can simply rain throwing blades. Mwahahaha. Cheap, yes? Jump and you'll shoot your blades in different directions. Next is the Hanging Edge ability. Hold up and press the Jump button when there's a platform or a ceiling on top of you. Your character will hang on the ceiling or platform with a metal claw. Press Left or right on the +Control Pad to change Direction. Press the B Button + Down on your +Control pad to get down. To get on top of the platform you are hanging on, double tap Up on your +Control Pad. Model Px also has a useful ability. Night Vision. In Dark rooms, Model Px can see in the dark more clearly than other models. This is useful so that an enemy just won't appear out of nowhere in your screen and ambush you. Then is your OIS ability. There's nothing much, just that once you activate your OIS, you can perform 'Shadow Dash', which allows you to dash through enemies without getting hit. OIS also strengthens your attacks, of course. Finally, there's the Touch screen, the Radar Scope. Like Model Lx, the boxes highlighted in light blue is the stage, while the darkest color in that screen is the background. The tall little thing flashing and in a blue outline is you. The function of this screen is to find hidden paths and hidden doors, which are blocked by the background/objects. Enemies will be marked as '!' Icons. VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^VV^^V After one Mission Complete later, Prairie calls you! She says Slither.INC. airships have been spotted! Uh oh! She asks you to come to HQ at once! But there's one problem! You're using a Semi-TranServer! Means you can't transport. Once the Dialog scene is over, Save, and go out, and go back from the way you came in. (You can continue on to the area, though. It's a short-cut to Area A-3. ^^) Once out, head back to the TranServer in Area A-2. Choose Transport and go to 'X-1 Guardian HQ' -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Chapter 10: Trouble on HQ! [onoz] -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Once you're in Guardian HQ, get out of the room. Quiet. Where IS everyone? Go to the command center. There will be a dialog scene between Prairie and your character. Prairie will tell you that this ship wasn't designed for battle. Perfect. Just. Perfect. Prairie says that if the enemy boards the ship, they're done for. Suddenly, The alarm sounds. Guess what? They're trying to board the ship. Stop saying things too soon, Prairie! XoX; Prairie will ask you to go to the deck. Well, listen to her. In case you didn't know, the deck is at Floor 05. ^^ Oh, and if you forgot, press Up or down in your +Control pad to move the Elevator. So press Up two times to get to Floor 05. Enter the left door now. Agh. There are many airships outside. There will be an airship which will send out Troops from some sort of box. Once the Box lands on the field, soldiers will come out. I recommend using Model Hx for this one, and do the 'Short Sword, Long sword, Short sword' combo. It's really damaging. Destroy 6 of the boxes. Cutscene Animation! You'll see soldiers coming out from the boxes, as well as two familiar people. Your character will say that he/she saw those two before. And Prairie will say that Enemy troops have boarded the ship. She'll order us to protect the engines. Go back left, and take the elevator. Keep holding the down button at your +Control Pad until you reach Floor 01. From here, be careful. Don't dash. Walk. Puts will suddenly pop out from the floor. And of course you'll die if you jump down. Keep on going right and through the door. You'll see a dialog cut scene of Prairie, a soldier, and two people-who-you-have-seen-before talking together. The soldier attempts to shoot them with his gun, but there's an invincible shield blocking the shots. Hahaha, puny gun. Suddenly, your character will come out and transform to Model Zx. The two people-who-you-have-seen-before introduces themselves as Prometheus and Pandora and looks like they came here to crush the Guardians. Prometheus will ask Pandora to leave for a while, as he wants to fight you alone. Prairie and the soldier will escape after that. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BOSS: PROMETHEUS (The Art of Death) ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Weakness: Thunder Resistance: Ice Weakpoint: None Attacks: - Spirit Summon Prometheus will teleport to the center of the room and calls out 4 Purple Spirits to the four corners of the screen. The Spirits will eventually fire dark energy at you. - Dash n' Slash n' Slash s'more Prometheus will teleport in one of the two bottom corners, dashing then sending out an energy wave. He will then spin his sword while moving upwards. - Spirit Spikes of Pointyness He will teleport to the center of the room, and summon spirit spikes that will start from the left wall, to the ground, and finally the right wall. Notes: Oh, at last you're fighting another human like you. Unfortunately, he's fast. And he likes to teleport a lot. He's weak to electric, so go on with Model Hx and use elemental slash or Lightning Ball. I recommend you to keep your ZX Buster and Saber charged. For Spirit summon, when the 4 Purple Spirits are in the corners of the room, you can destroy one of them with your ZX buster, which makes things a little more easier. If not, look closely at the firing pattern, and when you see an opening, jump over the shot. If he does Dash n' Slash n' Slash s'more, if you have a charged buster, shoot it at him, and dash jump to the other side. If not, just dash jump to the other side. If he does Spirit Spikes of Pointyness, quickly wall-climb on the right wall. When the spikes hit the ground, just before it's coming up to the right wall, quickly dash-jump off the wall. Strategy contributed by 'Shakai': This is optional but, if you aren't following this walkthrough, and gotten Model H's Second Charge Attack already, which is 'Tornado Strike' (You get it by completing the Mission 'Save the People'), it's recommended that you use Model Hx and use Tornado Strike along with activating your Overdrive. Head to Floor 02 and go all the way to the left and talk with that soldier hanging out at near the last room there. Talk to him multiple times to get the 'Featherweight Chip'. Now go back to the TranServer and choose Mission select. [You can try to get the Spike Ice Chip. I'm not sure when you can get this, but you can try getting it now. There's a Pseudoroid with a Biometal fragment overseeing the operation. Head to Area K and recover the Biometal from the Pseudoroid. There might be some clues about the Biometal around there. The enemy is already moving into the area. We can't let that data fall into their hands. Head to Area L and acquire the data before they do. Continue on to your right and you'll shortly see two different paths to take. Go down, or go right. I'll going with down, though. We'll take the other path once this Mission is complete. Trust me. Go down the ladder, and make your way to the door below. Once you enter the door...the whole stage is dark! Uh oh! Thankfully, we have something we can use to see in the dark...well, sort of. Transform to Model Px or Lx, and you will see a map at your touch screen. I'm going with Px, since you can locate your enemies with it AND see the surrounding around you more clearly. There, that makes things more easier, doesn't it? ^^ Anyways, continue all the way right and down the ladder. Go left and down the ladder again. From here, be careful! There are pits which grant you instant death. So, look at your Touch screen Map closely. Also watch out for the many Death Yo- Yo enemies in this area. Avoid the pits, and enter the door at the end of this room. You're our from the Dark area now! A Sonic boom will be shot out from the dragon's mouth, passing over you. The wave will magically hit some 'wall' and will split up into two waves, reflecting to you. - Charge Dragony will retreat from the screen, and then he'll fly over to you. - Three-way Beam It will open it's mouth, shooting out three lasers which will split up into three Directions. Notes: Big Giant Dragon~ But he's only a Mini-Boss. Charge up your ZX Buster and keep shooting it at the dragon. To avoid Dragon's 'Fly n' Dive' attack, watch him fly up, then quickly dash below it. For Charge, when you see him retreat from the screen, dash to the opposite side of the screen and stay there. Don't panic. You'll see a big black giant spike cocoon-like shield. When the Soldier Maverick pops out, hit him with a Charge shot. Once that's done, continue right. You'll soon come across another bottomless pit, and blue platforms. You can get them working by using Hx's 'Electric Ball' ability, or using any kind of Electric attacks. Of course, this is optional. Continue on right, up the ladder, continue and into the door. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area I-3 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Go left and drop down, then dash right. You will see a boss door. Enter in now. What's this? NO ONE WAITING FOR US?! This is a miracle of the history! No one is guarding the civilians! Go to the next door! And just before you are able to go into that door, a boss comes out. I guess I said things too early. The Boss taunts you and all, saying more about Model W. She introduces herself as Model H Pseudoroid, Hurricaune. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BOSS: MODEL H HURRICAUNE (Ferocious wind!) ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Weakness: Ice Resistance: Fire Weakpoint: Her Neck Attacks: - Gust Drill Hurricaune will jump up, disappearing from the screen, then slowly comes down with a gust surrounding her body. - Twin Tornado Hurricaune will jump over to a side, and casts two small Tornados, as they fly straight to you. - Wind Blade Hurricaune stretches out her neck, and a Wind blade will come out from her neck. When it hits the wall, the blade will split into two, One blade going up the wall while the other going down. - Hurricane slash She will jump to the middle of the room, and surrounds herself in a tornado, sucking you in. Wind blades will also shoot out from the tornado from both sides. Once she's done, she'll jump off, laughing. (Yet another laugh! ^^;) Notes: The second boss/Pseudoroid who holds the second Model H! Of course, her element is Lightning, so go use Lx. Be careful of her attacks, though. They have the power to blow you away. Get it? Blow? Hee hee...uhh...let's move on, shall we. When she's performing her Wind Blade technique, quickly dash below it, and use Zx's Charged Buster or Lx's OIS + First Charge attack. The most lethal attack is Hurricane slash, where she is immune to all attacks when she's surrounded by the tornado. It's really damaging, but it's not that hard to avoid. If you're looking for a Level 4 Victory, refrain from hitting her neck, and stick your ZX Buster's Charge shot to her body. NEVER try to shoot her when she's doing her wind Blade technique. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Once you win, she'll explode into pieces, and another piece of Model H is left behind! Model H is now complete! Not only did your Biometal gauge increase, but you are now able to use Model Hx's Second Charge attack, Tornado Strike! To Perform Tornado Strike, fully charge your weapon, hold up, and release your charge. It's really useful in different circumstances. Oh yes, after you win Hurricaune, did you see a small message at the top saying that a boss is located in some location? Guess what. The Boss/Pseudoroid you defeated has revived. It's optional to defeat it again, so feel free to fight it if you want. Anyways, head to the door at your right. Shortly, you will see People trapped in some cell. Prairie will tell you to free them. See that red glowing thing? Slash it...or use a ZX Buster shot. But let's be all bad and slash it cool. The people will thank you, and a dialog scene will take place. Looks like the baddies want to turn these people to Cyber Elves. After the scene, the people will teleport off, and you can now fill in your Mission report. Dash right and enter the door. Inside is...Yes. A TranServer room. Choose Mission Report and get your E-Crystals. MISSION COMPLETE!...Or is it?! So! I promised that you can take the other path soon, right? I'll tell you why we're re-visiting the place. There's a 'Life Up' beyond the which you can only take when Model Hx is complete! ^^ Exit from the left door and head left. Go through the boss doors and keep on going left until you reach some kind of wall. You can break it apart so shoot it or slash it. There's a door just behind the wall, so enter it. It appears this is a shortcut to Area I-1! And the room is dark. Turn to Model Px and take that Biometal Energy at the right. After taking it, go left. There's pits AND spikes here, so take care! You should find a door on your right. Go enter. You'll still be in Dark room. -_-; Continue on left. After blasting things while heading left, you should come across ANOTHER door. Yay! You're outside! Climb up the ladder above you. You should see a small space there. You know what that means. Human Form! Crouch-walk left and you'll be back from where you started from when you first came in to this area. Go up the lifts (again) and enter the door on the right. (Again) Here we are...again! This time take the door in front of you. There will be a new enemy which resembles those Death Yo-yos. Only they shoot Bullets out. Soon you'll reach a road with both the ceiling and the floor sticking out with spikes. Use Hx's ability to carefully hover down. If you want to take a Data Disk, there's located at the right, so if you want it, hover all the way to the right. Once you got the Data disk, hover left. If not, slowly hover right, then go slowly left. Once that's done, go right. You'll come across a door. Same attack like Dragon Mechanaloid. - Charge Chimera will retreat from the screen, and then he'll fly over to you. - Missile Launch Chimera will point it's tail to you and two-three missiles will come out. - Little Snake Chimera will release it's tail, and the snake 'cutely' comes to you. After that, it will grow a new tail. Notes: Now it's a Lion + Snake + Bird. Do what you did to Dragon Mechanaloid, and avoid it's attacks the same way. After those platforms, you should see a broken Lift. Now this is why I ask you to come back here later. Remember that your Hx is complete? Use Tornado Strike on the Lift. (Fully charge + Press up on +Control Pad). The lift will rise up. Now do Tornado strike on the Lift again. Once you done it, quickly jump on it. Now Jump and Dash up, and claim your Life Up. ^_^ Now get out of this place. Go down from the ledge, head right, and up the ladder. This is a one-way path, so I don't think I need to help you with this one, since you know how to get through here. ^^ You'll soon come across a door. Enter. You're back inside the factory. Looks familiar? Jump down and head right. Keep on going right and go inside the TranServer room. Done? Not quite yet. There's still one more thing to get! An Extension Chip, named the Absorber Chip! Teleport to Area B-2 Mountain Pass, and go to Area C-1 which is at the door at the right. Now go all the way to Area C-2. Run (or dash) to the Fountain located at the right end of the area. There should be a green house near the fountain. Enter it. Dash all the way right and you'll see a man walking around named 'Leonardo'. Talk to him a few times to get the Absorber Chip! Victory dance, Nyu!~ ^^ Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, but let's activate a TranServer! Get out of the Green House, go right and jump up all the way to the top of the fountain. Once at the top, you can see a wall at the top right corner of the screen. You know what that means. Hx! Jump and Dash up, and you should make it. There's also a door there. Enter in. Go right, and climb down the ladder. You should see a machine there. Go near it and press Up on your +Control pad. If it asks you if you want to cut the power, Choose Yes. Now climb back up the ladder and head outside~ The fountain is dried up! Go below the fountain and there should be a new opening. Jump all the way down, and head right. There's a door and... When you come in, Prairie will brief you on the mission, then, you can control your character again. Now, since this is sea, this place is perfect for Lx. You need Lx here anyway. There's lots of spikes to pass through. [Note: When there's sea, you should know that Water Enemies live here, so Model Hx is a no-no.] Transform to Model Lx and Enter Swim Mode. Head down, and go right. Be careful of the spikes here! Soon, you'll come across two paths. One leads up, and the other path leading down. First, go Up. Destroy that turtle there, and head right. You'll come across a door. It's a Semi-TranServer! Go save your game if you want and recover yourself. Once that's done, exit the room. Go left, and go back down. Go all the way down, and head left. There should be a door/hole there. Deactivate Swim mode and head inside. Once inside, Activate Swim Mode again. Water-Dash all the way to the right and you will find a Life Up. Life Up Receive! If you have been following the Walkthrough, you should have all the Life Ups by this point! Go left and Exit the room. When out, Activate Swim mode and go right, swimming through the spikes. And it finds you the first time you enter the room. vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvv^^^^vvvv MINI-BOSS: ABANDONED UNDERWATER SHELL vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvv^^^^vvvv Weakness: None Resistance: None Attacks: - Little Fish Four Fish Robots come out from the four holes of the shell and swim towards you. - Red Eel The Red Eel comes out from one of the four holes of the shell and tries to attack you by touching you. - Yellow Eel The Yellow Eel comes out from one of the four holes of the shell and shoots out three electrical orbs, then they split up to three smaller orbs. Notes: There's something hiding inside the Underwater shell...Hmm. Anyways, this boss only has three attacks. One is to summon Little Fish from the core, which you can destroy. The next is that a Red Eel will come out from one of the holes, and attempt to attack you by touching you. The Last is the Yellow Eel which will come out from one of the holes, and shoot electrical orbs at you. Just keep on attacking the Red and Yellow Eels and the Mini-Boss will fall. I recommend to stand on the top of the shell, and keep on using the Zx Buster's charge shoot at the Red and Yellow Eels. vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvvv^^^^vvvvv^^^^vvvv Once you're done, head t through the right door, and continue on. There are lots, and I mean LOTS, of spike paths here, so, to be safe, get on the surface platforms. If you wanted to pass through spiked paths, be careful. One false move, and you're done for. There's LOTS of enemies here too, so, be careful too. Soon, you'll reach a boss door to... ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area J-5 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Shouldn't you be in Area J-4 instead? Oh well. Get ready, cause this boss is big. Really big. Enter. What did I tell you? He's big. Dialog Scene time! The Boss will start talking about youth and all. He introduces himself as the Model L Pseudoroid, Leganchor. And he wants to teach you respect by killing you. What a way to teach. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BOSS: MODEL L LEGANCHOR (Death in Water.) ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Weakness: Fire Resistance: Thunder Weakpoint: His...Whirlpool things. Attacks: - Ice Dragons Leganchor opens his mouth, and two small Ice Dragons (I rather call them Snakes!) will start going to you, and he does a creepy laugh, like MOST BOSSES. ^^; - Whirlpool He will make two whirlpools, attempting to suck you in. - Ice Darts Leganchor will release the four spikes from his body, as they shoot to the direction they are facing. The spikes will stay there for a few seconds, as they create Ice. - Spike Chains A light will appear and search for you. If you get caught, he will shoot two chains at you. - Purple Jellyfish If you swim to the surface, Leganchor will open his mouth and summon two Jellyfish. They will swim to the surface and start shooting at you. - Body diiive! Also, if you swim to the surface, Leganchor will raise his body a little, and drops down, causing the room to shake, making you fall and sink inside the water and get stunned. Waves are also made on the surface when he use this attack. Notes: This boss is really easy if you know how to avoid his attacks. Never, ever, go to the surface. He will do more tougher attacks if you do. So, stay inside the water. Personally, I find Model Zx more suitable than Fx, as you can destroy his Ice Dragons more easily. If you are using Model Fx, go to the center of the room, activate your OIS and shoot him. Repeat process until he's defeated. If you plan on using Model Zx, keep on using charge slash on his face. (The marking which is shaped like a skull) Most of his attacks are avoidable by staying at the center of the room and below him. The only thing which can hurt you is his Ice Dragons and Spike Chains. His Ice Dragons can be destroyed no problem. However, his Spike Chains Ability is a little more harder to evade. If his search light manages to catch you, quickly dash away. Getting Level 4 Victory is simply easy here. Just concentrate on hitting the center and not anywhere else. ><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> After he's defeated, he starts talking about youth again, and he explodes. Youth, youth...After he explodes, Model L was left behind. It says how can anyone give it's power to someone like that. Well, true. We easily beaten him off, didn't we? ^^ Anyways, after the Dialog scene, You got yourself a Complete Model L! Yay! Now you can use your Ice Dragon ability! To use your Ice Dragon Ability, fully charge your weapon, Hold Up, and release. ...You know, When Vent uses Ice Dragon, I hear him say "GET EM' BOY!" or something... Vent: "Get em'boy!" Dragon: "Arf arf!" ...I so wish that happens in the game. ^^ Amyways! There's a shiny Data Disk in front of you. You know you want to take it because it's Shiny. Take it~ Dialog Cuscene time! Looks like this Data Disk is about Serpent and the Model W. Once that's done, head through the right door. After that, head up and go through the door. ...No TranServer Room?! Go down the ladder, and you'll see another door. ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ Area J-4 ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~ No TranServer room here either. Which means...Long walks. *groan* When you first enter the ceiling, you'll notice a handle sticking out from the ceiling. You can actually grab on it using Model Px, so Hold Up on your +Control Pad and jump on the handle. (Not the ceiling, mind you. ^^) While you are hanging, you will start moving left in a high speed. No long walks, it seems. Keep on shooting your Throwing knives/Kunai because there's going to be Maverick Soldiers trying to stop you. After a while, the machine will stop, and you will see a ladder below you. Get off the handle, and go down the ladder, and into the door at your left. You're back at Area J-2.
