May 3, 2006: Started the Walkthrough today. This is my first FAQ. I am writting
this as I progress. I will spell check it once I am done.
May 4, 2006: I added some more battles, and spells. Worked on legal issues. I 
added the item section.
May 6, 2006: Thanks to some kind people I was able to add a few things. Iadded 
the dragons, a few items, and of course the other item in battle three. 
May 8, 2006: I recieved a lot of info for this guide. I thank you all for it.
Sadly something came up, where I will have to tempary stop this guide. I will
continue to update it when I can. Thank you for your support. 
May 12, 2006: Fire Sage Defeated. I also defeated the Earth Mage.
May 14, 2006: The Dark Sage was defeated.
May 15, 2006:Light Sage Defeated.
May 26, 2006:I just got the trio runes, and started the dragon quests.
June 8, 2006: I beat the game. I started over.
September 7, 2006: I had to completely erase, and re install everything on my
computer. I sadly lost a lot of data...So I will now continue to update this
guide now. Whats new is some stuff is added to the FAQ. I added some spells,
and some other small stuff. Also I would like to thank all that E-mailed me.
You kept me looking for this copy. If it was not for you guys, I would have
quit a long time ago. . . I also misplaced many of your e-mails, so if you

Wow I have yet to update it for a while. I'm sorry everyone. Been so busy with

Here is the story from the instruction manual:

Introduction
The memory of that day will surely live with me forever.  Jet black clouds
darkened the sky as wave after wave of vile monsters ravaged our quiet town. 
THe poeple were thrown into panic and fear, running for their lives.
In the confusion and before I had a chance to think, I lost sight of my mother
and father.
Overcome with fear, I fled deep into the old forest.  I took no belongings, no
food or drink.
I ran until I could run no more...
Finally, I fell to the ground, exhausted.

Story
This is a story of the age ushered in by the passing of the Great Creator,
divine architect of our world.  The people were long protected by the Six Forms
of Magic and the Seven Wands left to them by the Creator.  The wielders of
magic, Magicians, maintained law and order.  The Seven Wands were entrusted to
seven especially powerful Magicians, called Sages, and passed down from one
generation to the next.  Thus the power of the Creator was kept safe, and the
many benefits of magic made the people's lives rich and easy.  In this way, a
thousand years of golden, blessed peace continued across the world.  But a
fateful event was to forever change the world.
The Diva of Twilight, a Sage and keeper of the Wand of Balance, lost all hope
in those she was charged to protect, the people.  Disillusioned and angry, she
called forth monsters - terrible creatures from another realm - into the world.
The death knells of the golden age tolled across the land as the monsters
ravaged towns and killed wantonly.
Many of the other Sages, the defenders of the people, succumbed to the power of
the Diva.  Hope, now little more than a flickering candle, was about to burn 
out completely.

Then, A Youth By The Name Of Isaac...
Isaac, a 14-year-old boy separated from his parents amid the chaos enveloping
the world, is found by a venerable Magician who lives deep in the old forest. 
Taking him as her student, the Magician begins the boy's training in magic.
Not long afterward, Isaac's father appears before him in the forest.  Without
saying a word he hands Isaac a Wand and then is gone.
"What did father want to say to me?" Isaac wonders.
His desire to find his father is about to spark a great adventure!
For this is the story of hope, however small, in a world ravaged by despair.

Battle: Allows you to start using magic.
Bottom screen:
Title: Selects the mode of play.
Field: Opens Menu, selects the place you want to go.
Battle: Moves characters, allows you to see stats of the player and other 
characters, and allows you to draw the magic.

Title Screen:
New Game: Starts a new game
Load game: Allows you to start your quest where you saved last.
Multiplayer: Play a local game against friends
	Free Duel: Use a duel using the defeated bosses.
	Duel Mode: Use your own save file to fight others. You get to keep all 
exp. When you win.
	Download Game: It allows you to download a demo to your friends.
More info at section 9 [MPlc] and [MPwf].
WIFI: Allows you to challenge the world. I really don't know anything about 
this, as I have never played WIFI.
Hand Settings: Allows for you to select right, or left handed mode.

In-game:
Line Up: This is where you add monsters to your party, and equip them. The 
way to read the monster status is like so: On top you will see a boot. It is a
ground unit if it does not have a wing on it. It shows the element, and if you 
see a flag, it can purify a crystal. after double clicking the slot you 
want you can add a monster. This will open a new screen. It will show a picture
of the monster, and its stats. It shows its life (heart), attack(sword), 
defence(shield), speed(boot), magic attack(crystal ball), the element, and 
magic defence(cross). and at the bottom you will see a small picture with a 
number next to it. It will show how many will appear in battle with you. After
double clicking the monster, it will take you back to the other screen. It 
will show you the status just like in the other screen if you single click. If 
you click the slot under the monster, you can equip a item. Clicking once, you 
will see the items use. Double click the item you want. You can delete a item 
by clicking delete.
Spell Book: Here are all the spells you have witnessed, or casted. If you have 
only saw the spell, it will be a question mark. It is catagorized by element. 
If you want to see them all click the white button on top.
Save: You can save your game on one of three slots. Do I need to explain?
Load: You can load a game if you messed up, or switch game.
Quit: Quit the game. It does not save automaticly. 

Battle: 
Retire: Quit game. . . need I be clearer?
Continue game: Continues current battle.

Other useful info [Hints]

As you progress through the game you will have to capture monsters. It is a 
good rule to have a few of each element. By doing so you can match any 
situation with your many monsters. 
As you complete a battle you will see a ring with the six elements. As you 
successfully cast a spell it will go up little by little. As of now I don't 
know the limit of the element ring. I think it is 5. Please correct me if I'm 
wrong. 
The way the elements work to gether is as so:
fire><Water Earth><Wind Light><Dark
The groupings shows how they work together. If the two elements clash they will
both win and lose. Nothing really happens if a element out of the pairings 
clash (Fire VS Dark.) The winner will be the group with more people and the 
higher level.
When you recieve a higher level item, get rid of a lower level item that you 
will never use again.

OK I will go through each battle one by one. 
Tutorial 1:
Time Limit: None
This level shows you how to aim and shoot, just do as it says.

Tutorial 2
Time limit: None
In the first level you are givin 
the basics. You have to move your character to the chest (by clicking him and 
clicking the chest.) Sadly there is no item in the chest. You then learn of the
first of the many spells. Fire ball is a basic spell. Just draw a reverse V.It
will shoot a ball of fire for a short distance. Draw the rune and cast it 
somewhere. Monsters are now present. Use the rune to defeat them. You will be 
givin the next two runes. Ice shot is drawn like a S. Shoots a ice projectile, 
and you also get Heal light. It is drawn with a line going down, up-left, and 
to the right. It heals a single person. You are let alone to finish the three 
mushrooms. Use what ever spells you wish. When you finish the fight you will 
level up to level 2.

Battle 1
Time Limit:5:00 
Winning Condidion: Defeat all monsters
You learn how to check status in this battle. There are two monsters to the 
south. Use a spell on the orkus to lure it over. As it is walking over finish 
it off. Go down and finish the Misty Mush off. Move over to the bridge and lure
that orkus away. If you need to heal, do it. Lure the enemy away one by one. 
At the end you are level 3.

You must now travel to the marked place on the map. I was just informed that
there are no random battles here, but there is a battle that you can go to many
times to gain exp. If you go to the lowest part of wet-wood forest, you will
fight 7 orkus. Not that hard, good way to get ahead of the game. 

Battle 2
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Protect the village!
From the Start you will be rushed by one orkus. Defeat him by using magic and 
cure. Pick them off one by one. After you finish off the last orkus, you will 
learn the first dark spell, trap. Drawn with a short line up, a line going to 
the left, and a curve. You can now capture monsters. It is easier to capture 
monsters if you weaken them first. You will be givin a Orkus to capture. He 
will just walk back and forth. It is weakened already. Just draw the rune and 
capture him. 

Battle 2 Monster Tutorial
Time Limit: 5:00	
Winning condition: Protect The Village!
You will learn how to move monsters, and how to attack with them. Move the 
orkus over to the chest, then mass move the Orkus. Now fight the monsters.Now
regroup and take down the Misty Mush one by one. Also if you feel like it 
capture one. It will come in handy soon.At the end you will get a life 
bracelet level 1.

After battle equip the item on the orkus and save.

Battle 3
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Save her from the Fiends!
Items: Iron Shield Level 1, demon horn
In this Level you will learn the wind blades. You just draw a C. It will 
cast a wind spell that pushes the enemy back. From the start send two of your 
orkus to fight the first two orkus that appear. Use magic to help. Send the 
other to get the chest behind you. Be mindful of the health of the lady. If 
she dies you will lose. The next two orkus will come attack. The assult 
continues. Three more joins in the fight. Do the same. If you can send a orkus
to the treasure chest. There are two here. 
One right behind you in the small opening, and one at the end.
 
This level is not to bad if you have a high fire level.

Battle 4
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Conditions: Flea as fast as you can!
Item:Gale Shoes
This level is very different. You need to run to the top left corner.At the 
start you learn the Earth Wall rune. Make a big wall and when the battle 
starts make Issac run over to the other side of the wall. Make your Monsters 
fight the Dead Fish. They won't survive, because the dead fish will respawn. 
If you feel lucky try to capture a dead fish, or Undine. It will be very 
useful soon. When you get over to the wall send the survivers (if any over to 
the bottom of the screen next to the undines. Use fire to melt the ice, and 
claim the treasure. After you get it cure and replenish your magic. Melt the 
ice next to the Undines. Pick them off one by one. When you have a clear shot 
make a mad dash to the top. Be mindful of the time. 5 minutes is not that much 
in this level.  

Battle 5
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Destroy the Monsters!
This is a standard battle. You start out with orkus on both sides of you. Just
use what you learned and fight. Take out the Orkus to the right, then team up 
to destroy the orkus to the left.

Chapter 2: [c2]

You should be able to equip another monster in your team now, as long as it 
is 2 up. Do so and prepare for battle. 

Battle 6
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition: Purify the mana crystals
Items: Dragon Scale
You learn all about Mana Crystals and Outer Zones. Go through the short 
tutorial and begin the fight by moving everyone up to the right. There are 
gates there. They respawn monsters. Leave a weak monster on the gate and 
continue on to the cryastal. Purify it and go back down.Lure the enemy away 
with magic and claim the prize. If you feel like it, capture a monster. You 
never know when you will need it. As you make your way across the bridge, and 
go up, you will notice a short cut. If you want let your monsters go ahead and
clear the way for you. Purify the crystal be fore you move on.As you come to 
the end, use your monsters as a shield and keep the enemies away from the 
crystal while you purify the two crystals. While wating for the crystals to 
be purified use your magic to help out. Even if there are monsters still out, 
once you purify the last crystal you win the round.
   
Random fights are now open. 

Battle 7 Evil mage 1
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition:Defeat the Evil Mage!
Item: Wind Shield
This time you will be fighting a mini-boss. This Mage uses the power of Fire.
Start out by purifying the Crystals near you. As you do two group of Misty Mush
will rush the two crystals. Take them out. They will spread them out, so you
can fight them one on one. Once you take out all the top row monsters, send 
one up there, and to the right. You will collect the chest. When you fight the
fire mage, use ice to beat him, or if you want, snipe him with wind. Send your
group in front of you to rush him. After a assult like that he will be as good
as dead, as long as you help, but be fast, he will heal himself.

Now comes the choice the left path, or the right path?

Battle 8 (Left)
Time limit: 3:00
Winning Condition: Purify the Mana Crystals
Item: Hunter Eye
Ok I think this is the easier path. You have to rush through it though. When 
you start out. A hydra will be to your right. It won't engage battle till you 
move closer. You start out next to a mana crystal. Purify it, and defeat the 
Hydra. Now time it right and rush across the bridge when the dead fish is 
going away from the bridge. Defeat the blue shogs, and claim the crystal. 
Now repeat it once more. After claiming the third crystal, rush across 
the bridge and engage the 4 Dead Fish. While fightingthem, send a 
monster over to the chest.If you can capture one. After those two crystals 
you win.

Battle 8 (Right)
Time limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all monsters
Item: Angel Coat
You Start off next to a crystat Use fireball to burn throught the ice then 
purify it. Go along the path, using fireball to break the ice. and take out
the monsters.Leave the top alone for later. After the Dead Fish, take out the 
Hydras. While fighting them send a monster over to purify the crystal and to
block the portal.Use Fire to break through the ice to fight the undine and
to grab the item. Now go up take out the monsters and you will have won.

After beating one you can fight the Water Sage, But I suggest leveling up a 
little, and have a good water team. When I fought him I had a team of dead
fish and undine (6 UP). It helped a lot to have those extra monsters. 

Battle 9 Water Sage Battle
Time: 10:00
Winning Condition:Thwart the evil master!
Item: Life bracelet
Ok this is taken from the Nintendo Power: "Be sure to purify all the map's
mana crystals (including the one in the northeast corner) before attempting
to fight the master. Posistion your death fish to distract the pesky 
Hydras, and wait for your MP to regenerate completely, then cast 
successive fireball spells on the boss to take him down. 
I used this, but I did do a few things different:
What I did: First I sent a extra monster to gather the chest to the right. 
I purifyed the crystals and I snuck around to get the northeast crystal. 
That way I did not grab the attention of the mist master. I put my water
type monsters at the crystal below the master, while I left my player, and 
land monsters at the crystal to the right. I sent my land unit in 
first, then sent in the water. I did it where the water would get 
there before the land did, I let the water unit take the beating, then
I used fire magic all the while.

Battle 9 (tutorial)
With the new master comes a new tutorial. This time you will learn the duo 
rune spells. That is the art of casting a spell with two runes.
Just go through the fight.

You beat the water master, and you then get the next water rune. Get into a 
few random fights and try out some combos.

Chapter 3:
Battle 10 Tutorial
Time Limit: 5:00
In this battle you will learn a better way to capture a monster of any 
element. You start out by catching a fire shog. You fight a shog of every 
element here. Capture what you want, destroy the rest. You gain a new 
darkness rune at the end. 

Battle 11
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Protect The Villagers!
Three gale hounds will come from the south. Attack them and try to get rid of
them as fast as possible, because soon three Silfeed will come from the west.
After them watch the north. The final three Gale hounds will rush you. Then
the Silfeeds will do the same.

Another spilt path. . . 

Battle 12 (North)
Time limit: 5:00
Condition: Defeat all monsters
Items: Demon Horn lv. 1
Strategy: Before you start the level, be sure at least one of the monsters in
your lineup can purify mana crystals, it�ll make the battle easier. And if
you have any Wind Shield items, equip as many of them on your monsters as
possible. The level itself is a wide open expanse with a small maze-like
structure in the middle. Isaac starts out in the top right corner of the
maze, while your monsters start out in the southwestern corner of the 
xpanse. Send your monsters east to purify the mana crystal and defend
against the Gale Hounds, then circle around to the northeast, making sure to
keep one of your monsters on top of the respawn point along the way. Move
them north, then west into the maze. As you go, purify mana crystals and have
your monsters heal by them as necessary. As for Isaac, keep him where he is
until your monsters get to the Gale Hounds in the maze. Regroup in the maze,
take out the remaining Gale Hounds and the Green Shog, then finally move a
few of your stronger monsters up and destroy the Purple Caps for the win. It
sounds complicated, but once you get going, it�s not. Be sure to capture one
of the Acrobats while you�re at it, and don�t bother with the treasure chest.
The Demon Horn is worthless by now, you should have the same thing only
stronger by now.

Battle 12 (South)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition:Destroy all monsters
From the start purify the crystal next to you. Go down and defeat the green
shugs. After that go up to the bridge and clear it of monsters. A few Harpia
will go across the bridge so take them out. When you are across the bridge,
take out the silfeeds, and claim the treasure. After that use a long range 
attack like wind or a dark ( or light) laser beam. After that it should be 
victory.

After the battle go up to the castle and then a big split path opens up.
You can choose who you will fight this time. You can choose the earth 
sage, or the fire sage. I suggest that you go to the fire sage, since
you learned a very powerful water rune. I will do the guide as I suggested.
If you wish to go earth first, be my guest. The Fire sage it to the north.
The Earth is to the south.

Battle 13 Evil mage 2
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the evil mage!
Item:Wind Shield
First Move up. Defeat the misty mush and Killer Mush. You can then move up and
take out the orkus, then purify the crystal, or you can move right, and prepare
for battle with the mage. If you go up don't move far. The mage will attack you
which may cost you the battle. If you purify the crystal, go the long way
around so you don't get attacked from the mage. Soon he will make is way down
where the wyverns and the three misty mush. Cure your troops, and wait for the
mage to come down to greet you. He uses wind magic. So use Earth combos, 
like fire 1 + Earth 1. Of course it may be better if you just cast your
strongest element over and over. 

Ok now come the fun part for me... the split path. Before going to any of them
I suggest leveling up your water type skill..

Battle 14 (North)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all monsters!
Item:
This is the easier path in my opinion. Mostly because there are only one
portals. When you start, move up and snipe the salamanders. If at all
possiable capture one. Now Move across the bridge and take out them two
monsters. Follow the path, sniping any of the salamanders you missed. You
will come across three more salamanders. Take them out then purify the crystal.
Go up and to the left, and take them out. Go around, and send your party down
to the portal. Place someone there, and move up. After that all you need to
do is move down and take out the remaining monsters.


Battle 14 (east)
Time Limit: Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition:Defeat All the Monsters
Item: N/A
Start by folling the path, destroying any monsters in your way. From there,
capture the crystal in the center, and move north. Take out any monsters
there. Now move back and attack the monsters in the North east corner.
Finally after that, move to the south east corner and claim your victory.

If you can Get a phoenix and a salamander. . . or two.

Battle 15 
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all the monsters!
Item: N/A

What you need to do first is to close the portals to the right and left of
you. To do that, send some monsters up. Time it so that they don't get into
a fight. After blocking the portals, send the rest up to the crystal and
take out every thing around it. Pick them off one at a time. If all of 
them were to attack at once, then most likely you won't survive. By picking 
them off one by one, you should survive, and finish the round.

Put all the Fire Monsters you can in your group. It will help.

Battle 16 Fire Sage
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition: Overthrow the Haze Lord! 
Items:N/A

I suggest bringing your phoenix, and a salamander. If you have room, bring
something else with you to. What you want to do, is purify the crystals.
Starting with the one you start out with, and then the one on the south west
corner. After that make your way back over to the first crystal and then
follow the path, destroying the monsters as you pass. When you get to the
portal, leave a monster on it, and continue with the plan. If you need to,
stop and heal when ever you have to. When you fight the sage, push her away
with wind, and claim the last crystal. Now after the crystal is done. Use
spells like rapid ice, or what ever spell you wish to use. She should fall
rather quickly.

With a new fire spell comes new possabilitys. So go try them out then go to
the marked place. She will ask you questions. I will leave you to gain entry
yourself.

Battle 17(east)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition:Defeat All the Monsters!
Item: Iron Shield
What you need to do if first move left, and purify the crystal. Go across
the bridge, then fight the gnomes. Move up and purify the crystal. Move right
and fight the wyverns. The Mush-mushy may move in to help. Just use wind to
take care of them. After that move up to purify the crystal, then move right
again. Send one monster up to take the chest. After that take down the last
5 gnomes and you win.

Battle 17(West)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: destroy all monsters
Item N/a

Start by moving up, and taking out the monsters in your path. Purify the
crystal, and move up again.After taking the second crystal, take a few to
rest if you have the time, and then continue  to the final crystal.

Battle 18
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat All monsters!
Item: N/A

Move down, take out the mush-mushy you come across. Once you reach the bottom
take out the mud golem, and the two gnomes. After that purify the crystals
and move up. Move towards the upper crystal, and take out the golem, and 
mush-mushy. Purify it. Move down and take out the golem, then continue on. At
the bottom there are some spikes. Try to keep your party off of it. Take out
the golems, and gnomes, then use spells to take out the shog.

Ok I suggest having a gnome, a mush-mushy, and a earth hound. 

Battle 19 Earth Sage
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition:
Items: iron Shield
This is taken from the Nintendo power magazine: "It will be tempting to 
use flying monsters to avoid the map's shifting ground-don't. Instead, employ 
only Earth-based monsters, as they will be more resilient to the generals's 
long rang attacks. Make your way around the map, covering up the monster 
portals with your gnomes, or your Mush-Mushies. When you reach the earth 
sage, cast rapid wind, to push him away from the final mana crystal, then 
move in and purify it. Use the crystal as cover, and cast wind spells such as 
Typhoon or Rain Gale to flatten the difficult boss.

I used the same stratagy. I purifyed the crystals, left my gnomes on the 
portals, then when we got to the bottom just take cover and use the crystals 
as cover, while the survivers attacked the general. I uses the spell of Fire 
2 with Wind 1. It worked wonders.

Now after this you gain the second level wind, and earth spell. Sadly they
don't give you time to use it.

Chapter 4: [c4]

You have a choice. . . . You can go on a side mission, or continue on with
the story. If you chooses the side mission, just look for marked places on
the map, and go there. You will be asked a question, answer correctly for 
the reward, which you will get much later on. For more info on this side quest
go to the side quest section.  The Shortcut to it is [SeQt]

Battle 20
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition: Protect the people
Item:

In this battle you must be quick.  I used salamander, gnome, and earth hound.
When the battle starts highlight all your men and kill the two jellies
running after the person to your north; capture one jelly.  Next take
everyone and kill the golem to your bottom left; capture this too.  The golem
that starts on the bottom right corner should be moving up along the middle
or attacking the first person you saved, go and kill it.

Now move up along the middle and kill the golem to the right.  Send 2-3
salamanders to the person on the right and clear the middle some more
(the wandering golems).  During or after the combat in the middle you will
notice that the flying things will have come down to attack to person on the
right but your 2-3 salamanders should be taking the hits.  Once your monsters
look like they can take care of the middle on their own take Isaac and go
help them -- I used fire 1 throughout the whole battle because it�s quick and
strong.

Now move all your people and continue up the middle (don�t worry about the
left for now).  Try to get to the last person on the top left of the
battlefield as fast as you can.  The monsters that were fighting in the
middle will logically get there first and hold off the attacks.  Once Isaac
gets there finish off the monsters and then go back to the middle left and
kill the last golem (and the other surviving monsters, but I doubt there are
others).

It is you versus your father. You can't win. just move forward and lose. If
you try to attack him, you won't deal any damage.

Battle 22

Winning Condition: Defeat all Monsters
Item: Gale Shoes

Its a monster mash. . . no really it is. it is on both sides though. you
start out with your team scattered in all four corners. All sides
will be attacked.Attack the monsters to your right. Move down, and fight the
bats. Use light to get rid of them really quick. Move down and attack the
dark hounds from the other side of the wall with a light beam
(fire 1 + Light). Capture anything you can. You will need it. Move right, and
collect your remaining team (if any. After that kill the monsters on top,
then move around the center and purify the crystals. In the center engage
battle with the bats and dark walker.  

If You can, equip any dark monsters on hand. It will help.

Battle 23 Evil mage 
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning condition: Defeat the evil mage!
Item: 

The Evil Mage battle is back. He is a dark element user. First move down,
taking out the shogs. Capture one if possible. Move left and take out the bats.
Move Right some more, fighting the ghosts. Again capture one if you can. If
you have a dark or flying monster, leave one on the portal. If not, then don't
touch the different land. It will damage you. Go to the lower left hand corner
and purify the crystal. Move up, then attack the ghosts on patrol. As you get
to the top, the portal to the left will spawn dark walkers. Move up to stop
the portal. After that, get the chest and fight the ghosts and dark walkers.
Now send all your monsters to fight the mage. Use Light element spells, and
you should win.


Battle 24
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition: Defeat All monsters!
Item:N/A

OK first, purify the crystal. During this time a ghost will attack you. Have
your monsters deal with it. Move Right, while leaving someone on the portal, 
and send some flying monsters to seal the portal. Attack the huge group of
ghosts. Purify the crystal. Leave a monster on the portal, then go down and
deal with the shogs, Move right, and purify the crystal, if you can. 
Deal with the shog. Then move right, and purify the crystal, after taking
care of the shog. Now move left, to the giant group of monsters, and take them
out. Put a monster on the portal and finish any monsters left.

Battle 25 Jester of the prime Moon

Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition: Trounce the Moon Jester
Item: Hunter Eye

Move right take out the bats. Follow the path, destroying all that stands in
your way. Purify the crystal and, move right. Keep following the path and 
repeating the process. Keep a monster on the portal, and purify the crystal. 
Follow the path, and when you get to the top, send a monster to the right,
so you can get the chest. Fight the jester with your
strongest light spells, and monsters.

You gain a new spell. If you want try it out. When you are ready continue
on with the story.

Battle 26
Time limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat All the monsters!
Items:Dragon Scale 
You start out seperated from two of your three groups of monsters. All three
groups will be attacked. The groups to your left, and right, will be attacked
by yellow shogs. The middle group will be attacked by Talos'.  After the
fights move your team up, and continue fighting. After the two monster groups
finish the next fight, they can collect the items. At the end of the level,
you fight 1 talos and two yellow shogs.

Battle 27
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition: Defeat All Monsters!
Item: N/A

You are again seperated. This time you don't have any monsters next to you.
Deal with the monster next to you, and stand on the portal. Control your
monsters, so they all attack the monsters. After that move them through the
maze to Issac. After that, have a monster take your place on the portal.
After that split up, sending a big group of monsters up to fight, while you
clean up the area. At the right, put a monster on the portal, move up and
finish the rest off. 

Battle 28
Time limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all monsters!
Item: Life Bracelet 

This time you are not seperated. Move across the bridge. Take out the Cherubim
and take out the Yellow Shogs. Purify the crystal, and continue on. If you 
repeat this you could win. Up in the north-west, you can only get the chest
if you have a flying monster. 

Battle 29 Bishop of the white night
Time Limit: 10:00
winning Condition: Subdue the White Bishop
Item: Angel Coat

What you need to do, is take out the enemy one by one. Use dark spells, so
they can't cure. after the day walkers are gone, take out the shine hounds.
After the seraphim are defeated, move a flying monster to purify the crystals,
and to capture the chest. After that, finish off the shine hounds, and rush
the bishop of white night.

You gain the final light spell, but no random fights to try it on.
I suggest equiping your dark monsters right now. 

Battle 30
Time Limit: 3:00
Winning Condition: Elude the Twilight Diva!
Item: N/A

This is a race against the clock.. You need to get to the end within 3 minutes.
Run through this level dealing with any monsters getting in your way. Don't 
deal with the ones that leave you alone. Just go across killing the Talos and
Yellow Shogs. If the Seraphim gets in your way deal with them quickly. At the
end Clear a path, and run for the stairs.

Battle 31
Time Limit: 3:00
Winning Condition: Reach the exit on time!

Same thing applies as the last battle. Rush as fast as you can towards the
exit, while taking care of pesky monsters.


Now Here it is, the game altering choice. . . It depends what path you want.
If you want to choose the good path, give the wand. If you want to go evil then
keep the wand. If you choose the light path, you can get boxdog, or dogbox, the
final wind spell, and the trio-spells. For the most part the Evil path is the
same, but with different text, and is without the dragons or trio runes. So I
shall copy and paste most of it.

In this one You will want to bring some monsters that can purify the crystals.
From the start cast Light 2 + Wind 2 For added speed on your party. Move
down, and start from there. After that go up, purify the three crystals, then
the crystal in the bottom right corner, then finally the top right corner.

I moved to the right path again.

Battle 33
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Purify the mana crystals
Item: N/A

From the start Attack the hydras, then take the crystal right below where you 
started. Move up a little, them open the single block of ice leading to
the narrow path. Kill the Death Fish, then follow the path and continue. After
that move up, thenopen the upper area, move right, purify the crystals, move 
right and finish it up.

Battle 34 Mist Master
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the mist master
Item: N/A

Same as before. Bring in Water monsters, purify the crystals, attack the 
mist master. He does have more spells, but nothing you can't deal with. If
need be use Light 2 and other elements to boost your defence/magic defence.

After this I went after the mages.

Battle 35 Evil mage 1
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the Evil Mage
Item:  Did not get.

For this battle bring in a group of flying Monsters. Move up, purify
the crystal. Move right then defeat the monsters. Now Use Fire 1 +wind 2
and knock the wyvern things back. If you can destroythem, if not it ok. So
Follow the path, till you get to the crystal. From there Snipe the Wyverns,
and move morward. Now lure the other Wyverns away, and take them out. After
that move all the flyers over to the mage. Get the item if possible.

I moved over to the dark area for the second mage battle.
I suggest keeping your flying monsters.
Battle 36 Evil mage 2
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning condition: Defeat the Evil mage.
Item: wind shield

From the start move up, be careful of the barriers. Purify the crystal,
and move right, across the bridge lies another crystal. Move down, defeating
the dark walkers. After that, send a flying monster over to the chest. Move
down, kill the ghosts, leave a monster on the portal, and move up, and
rush the mage.

I then moved over to the mage at the entrance to the fire mage.
This one, I would send in water monsters.

Battle 37 Evil mage 3
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the evil mage!

This one is weird. You are attacked by a group of scout orkus, and the mage
is right near the start. As you get near him, he moves away, Move up,
get the chest, then move across the path, destroying the monsters. After that,
move up, and fight the mage.

After that mage, i went the way of the Fire Area

Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all monsters

This battle will be quick. All the monsters rush you! Cast your most powerful
water spells, and after that, gather the chest on the left side of the
south eastern wall. Now finish off any remaining monsters.

Brings back memories. The monsters are moving toward the center crystal.

the same stratagy on this level. Send a monster over to the right to gather
the chest. 


Bring in Fire Monsters.
Battle 40 Fire Sage
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition:Defeat the Haze lord

From the start, purify the crystal, then Move to the right, destroying
all the monsters. Follow the path. If during the trip, the lord of summer
haze, moves towards you, make the first move, then take her out.

New fire magic. This allows users to cast mini dragons (Fire 3+any other).

From there I went to the last place: Earth Area.

Here you are dealing with a pincer attack. That means monsters will come from
both sides. Split your troops, and deal with them as you wish. After that,
purify the crystals and move up from the left bridge and purify the northern
crystal. Move right and fight the monsters.

Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all the monsters!
Items: iron shield

Move left, and fight.move up, and then left. Leave the upper right corner
for last. Go and fight in the north-west, then the south-west.Now after
sealing the portal, move back and defeat all the rune gnomes.

Bring Earth Monsters
Battle 43 Earth Sage
Time Limit: 10;00
Winning Condition: Defeat the Wind Sage. 
Item: N/A

Ok Move up, take out the hounds. They will respawn. Sent something up, and
block the portal. After taking care of the hounds, move either left, or to
the bottom, and take control of the crystal. After that, go the path you
didn't. Now You can choose to do both or go only one way. Fight the gnomes,
and reach the bottom. Take care of the portal and the crystal. Move up, take
care of the hound. Now you can go over to the other end, and repeat this, or
you can rush the sage. Either way, the sage will be gaurded. Try to move him
away from the crystal, and claim it for your own. Soon he will fall.

Now You gain the earth rune, but are thrown into the last battle, against
Trista. 

Battle 44 Wind Sage
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning condition: Overpower the wind Sage.
Item: Iron Shield

If you followed the same path, then you have most likely have earth monsters
in your team. Now What I suggest, is snipe the monsters, being careful. An
explosion helps on taking care of the big groups. After taking care of every
monster Rush the sage. The sage will teleport all around the stage. What you
need to do, if you have the earth monsters in yout team, is die. That will
allow you to change teams. I suggest a team of flyers.Seperate the team in 4
groups. The monsters at the single crystals, and you at the double crystals.
After that, all you will have to deal with is you.

With all the Lost magic, you are at the end of the game. 
Time to ask yourself. What do you want first? Trio runes, or your first dragon?
If neither of them sound good, beat the game. . . but you must get the trio
runes, if you like it or not.
I choose the trio rune. To do that, first you must go into the twisted wand
castle. Then follow the story.

Battle 45
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Purify all the mana crystals
Item: N/A

For the start, rush out and move to either the left then up, or the right,
and down. Use the teleport spell (Wind 3) to get there faster.Either way,
you want to meet some allys. After that, go gather the rest of your allys.
Send a group down, and purify the crystal, and the other group go back to
the center. From here you know what to do. 

Battle 46
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat all Monsters
Item: Hunter Eye

This one is easier. Move over to the crystal, then move left. From there, if
you have all flyers, move them over to the portal for an short battle. All you
need is issac. Move over and strike the night walkers. Once all the portals are
sealed, move for the kill. . . 

Now you have the power of the trio runes. This will give you an edge against
the almighty dragons, and the diva. A combo you should learn is Wind 1 2 3
in that order. It teleports your monsters with you. Use it with Teleport,
and your set.

These are the Dragon Side quests. The element that apears next to the battle
number represents the dragons element. Each time I fought the dragons, they
were level 40. I believe the levels of the dragons were pre set.
Battle 47 (Water)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the ultimate dragon
Item: Angel Coat

For this battle all you need to do is kill the center monsters, then attack the
dragons without breaking the ice. Capture one if you want.

Battle 48 (Wind)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Beat the ultimate dragon!
item:Iron Shield, Gale Shoes

For this one, move up, and purify the crystal. Move back, and fight the dragon.
After this, move up, and continue taking care of the the monsters.

Battle 49 (Fire)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning condition: Beat the ultimate dragon!
Item: Demon Horn

This time, move left, and purify the crystal, then attack the dragons that move
forward you. 

Battle 50 (Earth)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Beat the ultimate Dragon.
Item: Iron Shield

For this, bring in a group of flyers. Send your flyers to the left and fight
the first monster. Wait for the third monster to join in the fight.Now take
place behind the bush, and take out the dragons. Now send some flyers to get
the treasure at the bottom left, and send them up, to purify the crystal. 
Now move while your flyers are going over to the crystal, to the patch of
spikes. Send your Monsters over, and snipe the monster with Fire 2 X 3.
Hit some of the others, if you can. Now it will move towards you, just take it
out. after that, teleport over to the other side.Take out the others, and
move to the top. Move left, and take out the monsters with you doing Fire 2
with wind 3. Hit all three. Soon the dragon will fall.

Battle 51 (Light)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Beat the ultimate dragon.
Item: dragon scale

From the start, Cast a powerful dark spell. Wait for the dragons to come for
you, then cast it. Send your monsters to fight the monsters. If you have
fliers send them to purify the crystals, and get the chest. Now, at attack the
critters flying around till they are gone. Now move up, and take out the rest
of the dragons.

Battle 52 (dark)
Time Limit: 5:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the ultimate Dragon.
Item: Did not get. . . 
For this battle, bring in earth based land monsters, and wind flyers. To be
able to beat this level with ease commit these spells to memory. The first
spell, attacks only flyers. Light 2 + Fire 2 + Wind 2 takes out wind monsters
after a second or third use. . . as long as they don't go near a crystal.
The second one is Light 3 + Water 2 + Earth 1. It does the opposite as the
other spell. From the start, move down and right. Attack the monsters,
capturing one if possible. Use the Second spell, many times to clear the
screen of many dragons. What you want to do, is capture the crystals, and
send your monsters to take out the monsters next ot the crystals, while you
stand near a crystal, and cast the spells.

The Final step is near. . . . Time to take out the Diva of Twilight.

Battle 53
Time Limit: 3:00
Winning Condition: Make Haste to the Exit!
Item: Life Bracelet

New monsters, no time to capture. Gather your team from the beginning 
(wind1,2,3) and move right. From there split up the team. One goes up, and
one goes right. Purify the crystals, and Cast Light 2 + Fire 2 + Wind 2 many
times. Now teleport over to the other side. Gather your monsters, and get the
chest, and move into the door.

Battle 54
Time Limit: 3:00
Winning Condition: Make Haste to the Exit
Item: N/A

Basicly, Have the monsters come to you, send three monsters out to cover
the gates, then teleport over to the exit.

Battle 55( final)
Time Limit: 10:00
Winning Condition: Defeat the Twilight Diva!
Item: N/A

Ummm. . . . You must fight one person, the twilight diva. Move forward, and
purify the crystal. The diva will split up. Take out the clones and start
purifing the crystals. Be warned of the yellow gas, as it will charm the
monsters. Now Go after the diva, with your monsters. Use Light 3 X 3 To make
your monsters more powerful. Keep this up, and you will win.

. . . Not quite. This time you are up against monsters, and the diva. Sadly
You are almost screwed. Move up, and take the first crystal.Now, Rush the
diva. Leave Issac at the bottom. Soon the Combined efforts of your monsters
will take her down.

Congrats. You beat the game. Now save, and start a new game + by loading your
file.

You are forced into the water area. You can only move North, as the south

Local games
Here we talk about those matches you play with the person next to you.
All you need is 2 DS's 2 games(lost magic). First go to Multiplayer.

Your choices are:

Duel: use your own save. You keep all the exp you earn.
Free Duel: Duel using one of the boss characters. You do not keep the exp, but
you do use your monsters.
Send Demo: For this all you need is your copy of lost magic, and 2 DS's. You
send a demo of the game to your friends. It is erased once the de is turned
off.

Now to look into the battles.

In these battles you are against your friends party. You can mix the modes. For
example, you need the exp, but your friend wants to use the water master. It's
cool, you all get what you want, just select the mode you want. Either way you
use the monstersyou have collected. The elements are the same with the story.
So if you know your friend is using the water master, use Fire.

When using Free duels you can fight as one of the bosses (once you beat them).
You can use your own monsters. The elements apply as usual.

WIFI

Here you fight people all around the world. It could be your friend from down
the street, or even your girlfriend from halfway around the world. There is no
way to talk during a WIFI match. 

What you need:
DS
Lostmagic
WIFI connecter or a WIFI compatable router.

The battles are just like the local, fast and fun. The one thing is, you
don't know the person you are up against. . .most likely. You can choose
people in your area, or world. I think that does not need explaining. The
other option is to fight random people or people of or around your rank.
To battle a friend, you need to have their friend code, and they need yours.
You can find it by going to friend list in the WIFI menu. On the top screen
is where your info appears. give that group of numbers to your friend, and
imput their friend code in the menu that says Enter Friend code. Once they
are in, connect. To fight your friend, you need to go to the friend duel
option.

Magic [Magic]

1. Fireball-It will shoot a ball of fire for short distance. 
2. Ice Shot- It shoots a single ice projectile.
3. Wind Blades-It shoots a wind projectile that pushes 
back the target.
4. Earth wall- Makes a wall to slow down the enemy. 
5. Heal light- It heals a single person.
6. Trap- It allows you to capture a monster by casting the rune and selecting 
the monster. You have a better chance to capture a monster if you weaken it 
first.
7. Explosion- Causes a explosion. It has a nice range. Choose 
the center of the attack.
8. Storm- Produces a raincloud that harms enemys and hardens lava.
9. Wind Shards- Damage multiple enemys within a selected radius with wind.
10. Tough Armor- Increases defence against physical attacks for one person.
11. Light Armor- Increases magical defence for one person.
12. Curse- Reduces a selected enemy's defence against all attacks.
13.Fire Rain- Rains Lava, leaves behind lava within a selected radius.
14. Freeze- freezes one enemy in his tracks.
15.Transport- Teleports user away from danger to a specific location.
16. Bolder- Rains bolders on enemies within a selected radius.
17. Restore- Restores an area altered by magic, such as walls or lava.
18. Poison- Poisons a selected enemy for a brief amount of time.

Items come in 6 levels. 1 being the weakest. The items improves stats by a 
percent not a set number. 
Life Bracelet- Raises max HP.
Iron Shield- Increases defence against physical attacks.
Gale Shoes- Makes the wearer faster.
Dragon Scale- Increases defence against magic attacks.
Wind Shield- Allows for faster attacks.
Hunter Eye- improves hit rate.
Demon Horn- Improves attack.
Angel Coat- Raises Evade

I was told that a level 6 life bracelet boosted a dragons HP by 50%, so we can
assume it works that way for all monsters.

Side Quests [SeQt]

Boxdog side quest (Must be on Light Path)
At some point in your adventure you will run into a boy named Taro and a girl 
named Zoe. You will see a quest marker pop up on the map. after you peak to 
one you will have to speak to another. The other person will ask you s question
including, where the other is going, and where the other one was. You will 
do this many times. If you answer them correctly, you will be rewarded with a 
level 35 monster named Boxdog soon after You must have space inside your
monster "inventory" before you can get the monster. It occurs after
getting the wand of hope and before the trio runes.

Anoter note: if you send the boy to the goldsand dunes and the girl to
silverpeak gorge and then send both of them to runedolf you get the dogbox
a blue and better version of the boxdog.

A fun fact about the characters: Taro, his sister, their father Galileo, and
the Boxdog are all from another Taito game called Magic Pengel for the PS2.


Dragon Quest: (Must be on Light Path)
	Near the end of the game, if you look around the map, you will find a
new area. It will say something about a roar, and when you fight the battle,
you will face the dragons. Don't worry if you don't capture a
dragon. The next time you fight on that space, you will come face-to-face 
with he dragons again. Please note, this is only on the good path.

Secrets [Shh!]

Ok its not really a secret, but once you beat the game you can start over  on 
a new game plus. You can keep all your monsters, levels, and Magic.
The only draw back is the enemys are stronger. You will keep the trio runes 
if you went the good path. So it makes the evil path much easier. . .
