While I do write all of my guides for free, it does take a lot of time and
effort to put them together. If you're feeling generous and want to show your
appreciation, I am gladly accepting donations. I don't know exactly what the
donations will be used for, but just know that you would definitely be helping
me make more quality FAQs! Even the smallest donation amounts are appreciated,
and are a great way to say how much you appreciate the work I do. If you do
decide you'd like to donate, please send the donations through PayPal at the
e-mail address listed below. Thank you so very much for considering this!!

4. Darkside**********************KH4*****************************************
This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

==============
BOSS: Darkside
==============

------
Part 1
------

The first form is similar to those of the other games. It can thrust its arm
into the ground to leave it open to damage while also summoning Shadows.
Another move has it summon some blox. Just wail on the arm when it is stuck
into the ground. Defeat it to continue onward.

------
Part 2
------

For this form, simply wait until its arm gets stuck in the ground. Destroy all
of the blox on the arm to stun the Darkside, leaving its head open to attack!

------
Part 3
------

For this final form, there is a Core Blox surrounded by other blox. Dodge it
until it spreads out, leaving the Core Blox open to attack. Wail on it before
it comes back together again!

5. Guard Armor (Boss) (2D stage)***********************KH5*******************

=================
BOSS: Guard Armor
=================

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

At the start of battle, simply use your ability constantly, unless you have
Thunder Rain. Why? At various points in the battle, blox will fall from the
"sky". If they are not destroyed quick enough, the Guard Armor will hit you
with a large laser; Thunder Rain can destroy these AND deal damage in just one
use. As for its attacks (aside from the aforementioned laser) it'll simply
flail at you and jump around to cause shockwaves.

6. Trick Master (Boss) (3D Shooter)***********************KH6****************
This is one of those 3D Shooting Stages. You'll move two-dimensionally; left
is left, right is right, B/Up is jump with hover, A is attack, and X is your
elemental ability. The abilities are very similar to the ones presented in the
Mario-esque stage in Traverse Town. Hold A down and move the target across
enemies and blox to lock-on to up to five at once and hit them when A is
released. If you do it like this instead of hitting one enemy at a time, you'll
get a higher score. There are ten waves of Blox, enemies, and the like. I need
not give you a strategy; it is just dodge and shoot, dodge and shoot. At the
end of the first stage, you'll encounter the Trick Master.

This is not the real boss yet. You'll fight in the 3D shooting mode, still, so
if you got the Blizzard Arrow, good for you. If not, oh well. You can also lock
on to all over its body. It has two main attacks: a wide, non-homing stream of
fire and a single homing fireball.

Do Stage 2 as you did Stage 1. Be sure to pick up (and KEEP) a Blizzard Arrow.

Again, you'll fight the Trick Master. Again, it is not yet the real boss. As
before, you can target all over its body and it has the same attacks as it did
in the previous encounter. It also can now summon fiery bouncing balls and
Damage Blox.

In Stage 3, you'll change angles a bit. The controls are based on YOUR
perspective. For example, if you are flipped upside-down, it is B/down, not
B/up, that does the jump/hover thing. If you are flipped ninety degrees
counter-clockwise, up moves you to Sora's right, down to Sora's left, and
B/left operates the jump. Get the idea? Be sure to get a Blizzard Arrow this
time for sure: it is now the real boss.

==================
BOSS: Trick Master
==================

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

As with the previous two encounters, you'll fight in the 3D shooting mode. The
Trick Master can be targeted multiple times as before, and has all of the
attacks from the previous two encounters. Remember, it is a fire-elemental
enemy (it at least seems to be), making it weak against Blizzard Arrow.

7. Cloud (Miniboss)**********************KH7*********************************

---------------
MINIBOSS: Cloud
---------------

For this battle, you may want to use the Auto-Life-L on Sora. Cloud has
Omnislash; if you've played and completed Final Fantasy VII, you know how
deadly it can be. It is equally deadly here. Auto-Block works, too. Other than
that, just make some damaging combos, as well as use the Strength-Ls and
Defense-Ls, as their usage doesn't take a turn.

8. Cerberus (Miniboss)**********************KH8******************************

------------------
MINIBOSS: Cerberus
------------------

Cerberus's attacks consist of a triple-bite attack that could hit multiple
targets and a series of fireballs. The actual execution of battle is simple:
just attack. If you know any good strong compilations, use them. Also be sure
to remember the licenses!

9. Hades (Boss)**********************KH9*************************************

===========
BOSS: Hades
===========

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

Hades can attack with triple fireballs and a burst of flame. He also can summon
three Shadows into battle. He is immune to Fire and weak against Blizzard-like
attacks. If you have a Regen-L, use it, as you have no time to heal between
fights. Other than the above, simple.

10. Rock Titan (Extra)**********************KH10*****************************
You must play the 15-layer episode to do this. The Rock Titan is on the 15th
layer.

================
BOSS: Rock Titan
================

You get an item for winning: the Wristbands.

The Auto-Block license is good here (hard to deal with Blocking) as is the
Strength-L (high defense/HP). The attacks are rather limited, though. I won't
give much else here, as it is a simple boss. Just manage to stick it out and
use any high-power compilations (ie. Zeus Spear LV. XX).

11. Behemoth (Extra)**********************KH11*******************************
You must play the 30-layer episode to do this boss. The Behemoth is on the 25th

==============
BOSS: Behemoth
==============

Winning nets you nothing. Zip, zero, nada.

It is a good idea to bring Strength-L (high HP), Defense-L / Auto-Block (high
Strength), and Regen-L (you know why). Its reportoire consists of a shockwave
and some lightning. Easy enough to block. As with any turn-based boss, use the
most out of those high-power compilations.

12. Ice Titan (Extra)**********************KH12******************************
You must play the 30-layer episode to encounter this boss; it is on the 30th
layer.

===============
BOSS: Ice Titan
===============

Winning nets you the Leather Gloves quest item.

It is VERY GOOD to ditch all Blizzard-element compilations and bring in the
Fire-elementals (it is the ICE Titan). It can fire many ice shards, so bring
either Defense-L or Auto-Block-L, because they'll do a LOT of damage, even at
Level 60+. The other attacks (hail and icy breath) do some decent damage too.
Do, in essence, use all of your stat-boosting licenses (including Auto-Life-L)
as possible. Good luck, and remember the fire-element compilations, such as
Explosion LV. XX!

13. Jafar (Miniboss)**********************KH13*******************************

---------------
MINIBOSS: Jafar
---------------

For the most part, Jafar will simply teleport and shoot fireballs at you. It
can be difficult to keep up with him. If possible, try to use fast multi-hit
moves, such as the Elemental Storms. If this is not possible, just rush at him
and wail on him with the Keyblade.

14. Jafar -- again (Miniboss)**********************KH14**********************

---------------
MINIBOSS: Jafar
---------------

As before, Jafar will mainly teleport around and shoot fireballs. However, this
time, he has clones to distract you. The clones are transparent; you want to
aim for the real, solid Jafar. Try to use long range attacks (eg. Fire, Element
Raids, etc.) to stun the real one, giving you time to get to him and get some
hits in.

15. Jafar (Boss)**********************KH15***********************************

===========
BOSS: Jafar
===========

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

Throughout this whole battle, you are to attack Iago (Jafar's bird). Iago is
the one holding Jafar's lamp, which is Jafar's Achille's heel. Iago, however,
can only retaliate by flying away. In fact, Jafar is the one who takes the
offense. He can throw boulder at you for the first stage.

After defeating Iago the first time, the second part begins. In this one, Blox
appear and Iago tends to fly higher than before. Henceforth, you'll have to use
the shifting Blox to get to him. Jafar will also begin to cast Slow on you in
this fight, although I rarely see it.

Pete has many attacks. He can summon Danger Blox, use mini fire crackers, roll
and inflict Silence (disables commands temporarily), and use a punch combo. The
idea is simple: use commands while you can, then wail on him while they
recharge. After the first round...

Pete will begin by summoning some sort of homing Thunder spell (Pulse Tracker?)
to follow you. Just stay away from the yellow circle - that is where the spell
is and where it can hit you. After a bit, Pete reappears. He'll use the same
moves as before, as well as the Thunder-thing. Again, just wail on him.

17. Data-Riku (Boss)**********************KH17*******************************

===============
BOSS: Data-Riku
===============

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

The first part is more or less easy. Nothing is special here (at least,
anything noteworthy). Just wail on him.

In the second round (beat him in part one), he'll use a diving attack that
summons about ten Danger Blox. Again, nothing new.

The third and final part is hell on the 1-HP playthrough. Data-Riku will use a
warp-and-strike technique immediately, going randomly around the field,
teleporting, rushing at you and damaging you, then repeating this about ten
times. I find that if you Dodge Roll when you hear Data-Riku's yell, you'll
manage to get out of the way 90% of the time. After that barrage, wail on him
before he does it again.

BOSS: Dragon
============

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for

There is a near-regular pattern to the most of this battle. It will sometimes
be interuptted by the Dragon's jump-shockwave move that may launch it forward
or backward.

For the main part, you'll first aim at the chest of the Dragon. Use your basic
Attack for this part. At one point, the Dragon's knee(s) will give, making it
fire three fiery green flames into the air to rain down upon you. Use the Wind
Spin to attack its head repeatedly here. If you hit it enough, the Dragon will
be stunned. Use your basic Attack here to damage the head (be sure to dodge
the fireballs!). The battles will end when the HP has expired entirely.

20. Sora's Heartless (Boss)**********************KH20************************

This boss awards score/difficulty based prizes. See tables below strategy for
details.

=================================================
BOSS -- Part One: Sora's Heartless, Darkside form
=================================================

Remember the Darkside from just about every game in series? Sora's Heartless
has taken this form to battle you at first.

Its submerging-fist attack will vary depending on which side of the field you
are on. It is three fiery fireballs for the left; icy pillars on the right. I
prefer the ice. Either way, hit the arms as much as possible.

It may also disappear and stick its hand out of the ground, giving you a quick
chance to hit it. Ignore this chance, and just Dodge Roll all over the place.
The enemy itself may also appear in the center, giving you an open shot or two
to the head. Just wail on it when you can -- that is the basic strategy.

========================================================
BOSS -- Part Two: Sora's Heartless, Dark Sora Clone form
========================================================

Now the boss has reverted from a Darkside to a near-precise copy of Sora. It
has high strength, but lower HP and Defense. It has many attacks, mostly
consisting of the basics: basic Attack, sliding rush, and so on.

One unexpected and highly beneficial move -- FOR YOU -- that it uses will
consist of a storm of Keyblades. Dodge Roll around until the golden one falls.
Touch it and use the Drag 'n' Drop technique to turn your powerful assailant
into a measly Shadow. Use all you have at this point.

=================================================================
BOSS -- Part Three: Sora's Heartless, Three Dark Sora Clones form
=================================================================

This is essentially the same as before, except against THREE. The ones with the
weird aura around them tend to go down easily enough, so get them out of the
way (the Finisher Mega Flare is a good method). Once the aura-clones are
defeated, Sora's Heartless will do the Keyblade storm once again. As before,
use this to your advantage by using the golden Keyblade's Drag 'n' Drop
technique to turn the enemy into a Shadow. Get rid of it!

================================================
BOSS -- Part Four: Sora's Heartless, Shadow form
================================================

(Literally the weak Shadow.) In the chain of events after part three, Mickey
came and used the Keyblade to turn the massive Darkside into a Shadow. It is
no different from your typical one, excepting the somewhat higher HP. Now, we

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FINAL BOSS: ??? (Identifiable as Roxas, Organization XIII Member (No. XIII)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I-Is that the Oathkeeper and Oblivion? Yes, it is indeed. As you can tell from
the weaponry, his voice, and the massive-multi-light-beam attack (Roxas's limit
from KH 358/2 Days), this is indeed Roxas, who has been guiding Sora the whole
time.

Roxas has your standard combo, an uppercut, a sliding rush, and the
aforementioned light beam attack. These are all avoidable if you stay out of
his way when he attacks. As for the light beams, just Dodge Roll continuously.
The main idea is to attack when Roxas is not doing so. Hope you have some items
equipped!

22. Eliminator**********************KH22*************************************
These may be found in System Sectors after clearing all of the buggy Heartless.
There is a guaranteed one in the ever-so-damn-hard System Sector of Hollow
Bastion, in the upper level of the Entrance Hall, on the 12th floor.

These are VERY tough to beat. The only way I've ever beaten one was a repeated
try with the HP Cheat set to 0% (everyone has 1 HP). It took awhile to get the
hit in. If you would like to send in a more detailed, less risky strategy,
please do so! Send it to [email protected] and I'll evaluate it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is one strategy. Credits go to BlazinBeat.
For the Eliminator it only has two attacks (in addition to teleportation).
Triple homing energy balls (its spins its shield and the shield illuminates
first before they're fired), and a shield bite. Patience is required to defeat
one, and the HP cheat does help shorten the time required to defeat one
significantly. Both attacks can inflict random status effects (DEFINITELY not
good to get).
The strategy is to put survival first by blocking (not dodging) the homing
energy balls - it can fire as many as 4 in a row. Also be sure not to be
standing right next to it when it fires - the fireballs fly past you, then
tend to hit you from behind several seconds later when your block animation
finishes, so make a bit of distance. The shield bite has no giveaway signs
before it happens - it's very sudden. The strategy to dodging the shield bite
is to run to either side of the Eliminator after it teleports - if it spins its
shield, make some distance and prepare to block, if it bites you'll have just
dodged it by running sideways. It takes a few seconds for it to pull its shield
back after its bite - use this time to hit it from behind! Magic seems to do
much less damage than physical attacks - and Judgment Triad is VERY punishing!
To make things easier, the Oathkeeper keyblade will prevent status effects on
the off-chance you get hit, and both regen and auto-life will also help. The
accessories that grant "Block Charger", "Second Chance", "Once More", and
"Round Block" also improve your odds of survival. And if you charge your
overclock to a finisher, Mega Flare does huge damage even if you attack it
front-on (hence equipping "Block Charger")!
[Note from KeyBlade999: The accessories with these abilities are, in respective
order, Energy Earring, Eternity Charm, Immortal Charm, and Armor Bangle.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is another strategy, sent in by [email protected].

Get prepared by putting in the HP Cheat set to these choices: 1% ~ 5% (for
Second Chance ability or Once More equiped) or 20% ~ 40% (for no Second
Chances). Next, get the Keyblade with Regen set as the soonest clock ability
(Oathkeeper is the best) and try your best to have Auto-Life on. Now to a System
Sector with levels 50 or higher. Now, destroy the buggy heartless and find the
Eliminator. To survive, block any of the attacks and get behind the shield and
hit him to beat the Eliminator. If this is your first time to beat this
ever-so-dang-hard heartless, go to your Debug Reports to claim your Trophy
Chip/

23. Buggy Roxas**********************KH23************************************
The buggy Roxas is essentially Roxas as a bugged Heartless or something. He is
on the thirteenth floor of the ever-so-damn-hard System Sector of Hollow
Bastion, in the upper level of the Entrance Hall.

Frankly, I cannot really describe how to beat him (I have, I just can't do an
organized strategy: I just went in wailing, retreated, etc.). I'll post the
normal Roxas strategy here.

Hope you have some items
equipped!

If you would please do so, send me a more organized strategy to my e-mail:
[email protected]. I'll evaluate it, see if it works, and put it here if it
works. I'll fully credit you, of course!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Credits for this strategy go to BlazinBeat.
For Data Roxas, it'll take some preparation, but Judgment Triad and Triple
Pursuit are two VERY powerful, long-range and homing commands. As most of
Roxas' attacks are close range, this puts you safely out of harm's way. Just
remember to keep dodge rolling when he uses the light-pillars (and when his HP
falls below 50% to keep rolling after the first wave of light pillars because
he follows-up with a second wave of bigger pillars!).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Credits for this strategy go to [email protected].

He has 4 forms. An optimal deck includes 1 Curaga, 1 Judgment Triad, and 1
Shock Fall. Dodge Roll lvl 2 is great here, as well as the Oathkeeper since it
has regen and undo. His attacks include a standard ground combo, an uppercut
and launch slash, a thrust, summoning circling pillars of light to chase you
down, and Faith X, his Limit attack. In the first phase, Bug Roxas will flash
blue, indicating he has increased defense. Keep your distance from Roxas, since
he deals a lot of damage regardless of his phase. He will often attack using
the homing pillars. After you dodge a set of pillars, quickly counter with
Judgment Triad or another long range attack. If he combos you, escape quickly,
and regain distance. Cure as necessary. Once you deplete his first 2 lifebars
or so, he will change to phase 2 and flash yellow. His defense is normalized,
but now he is at triple speed. Launch Judgment Triads and anything else you
have at him because this is the phase that if you don't get him out of it
quickly, you will likely be defeated. No attacks change from phase 1 to
phase 2. After Roxas is reduced to half his health, he turns red. This phase
increases Roxas's attack, and also renders him immune to staggering. He will
start whipping out Faith X so be ready for continuous Dodge RSolling. The same
attack strategy applies but be much more cautious. As he is immune to stagger,
you have extremely small openings to attack from. Once Roxas reaches 1/4 of his
remaining health, he enters phase 4. He glows green, doubles in size and also
doubles in all stats. His Faith X will cover incredible areas per blast so
launch all that you have at bug Roxas from thus phase until you defeat him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Note from KeyBlade999: I believe he meant to have the commands in the order
they are listed here.]
Buggy Roxas is similar to normal Roxas. However, he is bugged and has improved
stats. A good command deck would be, with 8 command slots, 1 Cura/Curaga, 1
Judgment Triad, and one eruption; add a raid command, another Cura/Curaga, an
air spiral/elemental storm, a rising rush, and sliding dash.
He also has 4 forms that improve Buggy Roxas. Form 1 = Blue. This means at
certain times, he will be invisible and have improved defence. Form 2 = Yellow.
His defence is now normalized, but, his haste speed is tripled and attack speed
is a sonic art speed. Form 3 = Red.  Speed is normalized, but has high strength
and no staggers. He will start firing Faith Xs. DO NOT DESTROY PHASE 3 UNTIL HE
FIRES HIS LAST (3rd) FAITH X . If you do, when he is at phase 4, his Faith X
will become extremely dangerous. Phase 4 = Green. Still no staggers and this
time, he is extra large and improves all his stats. Whip out everything you
have and wail at him until he's dead.
The Oathkeeper Keyblade will improve your odds of survival and also the
Immortal Charm and Eternity Charm and Block Charger will improve your odds of
survival.
