  C1:Introduction
 ---------------------------------------

 Welcome to the Jump! Ultimate Stars Dio character guide. This is my first try
 at a FAQ, so please bear with me. I ordered Jump! Ultimate stars after hearing
 great reviews and many recemendations. Since I cannot read nor speak japanese,
 I went to game FAQs for help. I would like to thank  Genroh, in particular,
 and all of the other guide's creators for helping me play the game. When
 looking through the character guides, I was a little outraged that there was
 no Dio character guide. Dio, the main antagoinst of parts 1 and 3 in the
 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. Dio is a vampire that posess a guardian called
 a "Stand"(because they stand beside you) that has superior attack and the 
 ability to stop time for a few seconds. That's all I'll say about him for now,
 but if you are interested in his character, you can learn more on wikipedia.
 Just search for Dio Brando. You can also read the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
 manga.

  C2:Why Choose Dio?
 ---------------------------------------

 Dio has many usefull abilities and attacks that are worth checking out. He
 has great attacking moves, decent speed, and great distance because of The
 World. Dio's real ace in the hole is the ability to stop time with The 
 World. This, combined with his attack and distance, make him a deadly
 adversary.

 ---------------------------------------
  C3:Obtaining Dio
 ---------------------------------------

 Dio is obtained on mission 7 of Planet X: Boss Tower. To unlock him, you must
 KO two characters with support character. I recommend using either 3 Koma
 Trunks or 3 Koma kenshin after wearing down your oppoenets. After you unlock
 him, you must buy his support and battle Koma and Dio's  stage. Altogether
 (including Dio's stage) it will cost you-

 890 Red, 950 Green, 140 Blue, 80 White

 Pretty cheap when compaired to others, eh?

  C4:Basic Attacks
 ---------------------------------------

 Basic attacks are attacks that all Dio battle Koma share. This includes 
 buttons B(weak attacks) and Y(strong attacks).

 *****************************
  B Attacks
 *****************************

 B - Dio uses a sideways punch, good for starting combos
 10 damage to power/laughter and 15 damage to knowledge

 B+side - Dio shoots a vampire lazer beam(Jojo vampires just get cooler 
 and cooler). It makes a good end to combos, but it's hard to connect
 with most. Just use it when you see an opening. 
 10 damage to power/laughter and 15 damage to knowledge

 B+up - Dio does a backflip kick that launches him in the air. This is the
 perfect aerial combo starter and a good dodge move, use it often
 10 damage to power/laughter and 15 damage to knowledge

 B+down - The world does a quick sideways punch. A good combo starter
 10 damage to power/laughter and 15 damage to knowledge

 B in air - The World punches downwards. Good move if you're just randomly
 falling, okay for an aerial move
 10 damage to power/laughter and 15 damage to knowledge

  Y Attacks
 *****************************

 Y - The World does a quick 1-2-punch in one attack. Strong and perfect
 for combos
 20 damage to power/laughter and 30 damage to knowledge

 Y+side - The World rushes foward for a sweeping punch. With great streangth 
 and distance, this is his best combo move
 18 damage to power/laughter and 27 damage to knowledge

 Y+up - Dio jabs his hand into his oppoent to steal blood. A great stand alone
 move that recovers your health
 14 damage to power/laughter and 21 damage to knowledge

 Y+down - Dio rushes foward and turns around for The World to punch his
 oppoent. Good streangth, speed, and distance, use it often
 20 damage to power/laughter and 30 damage to knowledge

 Y in air - Dio throws a knife at his oppoent. A good aerial move, use its 
 distance well
 15 damage to power/laughter and 22 damage to knowledge

  Other Manuvers
 *****************************

 Over twice - Dio does a dash foward with a red aura around him.

 A - Jump, press it agian in mid-air for a double jump.

 A+down in air - this cancels a jump in mid air. It's useful agianst aerial
 moves.

 L or R - Uses supports, changes characters, or does nothing depending on
 what you set them to do.

 Select - Dio's ultimate action. Dio pulls out a book, and if he is attacked
 while reading, he'll teleport behind the attacker. It's not all that useful
 or easy to use. Avoid using it.

  C5:Special Attacks
 ---------------------------------------

 The X button is Special attack. Each Battle Koma has two different(usually)
 attacks. They are as followed.

 *****************************
  4 Koma Dio
 *****************************

 X - Muda Muda
 Dio unleashes five kicks to an oppoent that is hit by the first kick. It's
 an okay combo ender, but fails when compaired to Muda Muda Muda(5+6 Koma Dio)
 and it's very weak, Dio's weakest special.
 15 damage to power/laughter and 22 damage to knowledge

 X+up - Circle Knives
 Dio takes out knives and teleports them around his oppoent to hit them. A
 good special, it goes REALLY well with a longe distance combo, fairly good
 with a normal combo. The only worthwhile special of 4 Koma Dio.
 30 damage to power/laughter and 45 damage to knowledge

  5 Koma Dio
 *****************************

 X - Muda Muda Muda (Tap X rapidly for more hits)
 The World comes out and rapidly hits his oppoents with his fists. This is
 Dio's best combo ender, and an all around great move. Use this as a
 croud clearer, ringout move, and as a normal combo finisher.
 19-43 damage to power/laughter and 28-64 damage to knowledge

 X+up - Road Roller
 Dio finds a steam roller and crushes his foes with it, he than bashes the
 roller until it explodes. This move is a bit iffy. On one hand, it makes a
 great suprise attack, is pretty strong, and looks really cool. On the other
 hand, if you see it coming, it's VERY easy to dodge, it falls pretty slowly,
 and you can kill yourself with it if you're not carefull. It's okay by
 itself, but it holds nothing to The World(Dio Koma 6). It also has another
 great use , use it on a fall through are to ko other oppoents and youself. 
 But, only use it if Dio is not your last battle koma, otherwise, you lose
 too ;_;
 40 damage to power/laughter and 60 damage to knowledge

 *****************************
  6 Koma Dio
 *****************************

 X - Muda Muda Muda(agian)
 The same as 5 Koma Dio except it's a tad bit weaker. Still a great attack
 though.
 19-41 damage to power/laughter and 28-61 damage to knowledge

 X+up - The World
 Dio and The World use their ultimate attack, ZA WARUDO! Time is frozen! It
 takes a second to start, so it's faster than some specials(Wich means it
 can save you from damage). Once time is frozen, it stays frozen for about
 2 seconds. During this time, Your oppoent will not be moved by any attack,
 but will still recieve damage. If your oppoent was in the middle of an attack,
 the attack will be cancelled if you damage them with any attack. I will say
 that this move, in my opinion, is one of the best moves of the game. It has
 so many uses! You should have enough room for one combo during frozen time, 
 or, if you have the SP, can just spam Muda Muda Muda. You can also run away
 to heal, if you health is low(beware though, you cannot use supports or change
 character when time is frozen). You can also freeze time to make the Time run
 out to force a sudden death(Note:the time guage does not move when time is
 frozen DUH! :P). The worlds only weakness is that your oppoent can hear the
 world be activated, and thus block  to stop themselves from being damaged.
 Thus, The World works better in 4VS4 matches, considering that most oppoents
 will be too occupied to remeber to block during The World's initation.

  C6:Dio and Help Koma
 ---------------------------------------

  Dio's Help Koma
 *****************************

 Dio's help koma regenerates the SP guage if you don't change characters or 
 use support characters. Dio's help koma has an okay effect. It's kinda 
 usefull for 1+ Battle koma decks and it's REALLY useful for 1 Battle koma
 decks.

 *****************************
  Help Koma For Dio
 *****************************
 Helpful help koma for Dio include Giorno, Jonothan, Rohan, Gyro Zeppili,
 Taizo(Taizo Mote King Saga), and Frieza(Bragon Ball Z). You'll deffiantly
 atleast want some type of koma of Giorno, Jonothan, and Taizo because they
 support Dio, making him stronger. I mainly recommend Rohan, Gyro Zeppili,
 Taizo, and Frieza as being used as help koma.
 
 Giorno increases your SP when you attack or block a support character. 
 Jonathan Increases your HP when you are revived. 
 Rohan prevents you from being battle and support sealed. 
 Gyro Zeppili increases your maxium SP guage by 1. 
 Taizo increases you SP guage when you KO an oppoent. 
 Frieza increases your SP guage when multi-hitting.

  C7:Dio and Support Koma
 ---------------------------------------

  Dio's Support Koma
 *****************************

 2 Koma: Flip Kick (Causes Blindness effect) 
 
 Size/shape - [ ][ ] 
 
 22 damage to power/knowledge and 33 damage to laughter

 This is a faily useful koma, great as a suprise attack, and it causes
 blindness.

 3 Koma: Niku no Me (Select target)

 36 damage to power/laughter and 54 damage to knowledge
 
 This is a failrly decent support. He teleports, attacks, and that's it.
 Nothing more, nothing less.

  Support Koma For Dio
 *****************************
 Since Dio is long range, why not have long range support? I suggest the
 3 koma Hiruma(Eyeshield 21), the 3 koma Sena(also Eyeshield 21), and the
 3 koma L(Death Note). For close range, I would choose 3 koma Trunks or
 3 koma Kenshin. Lastly, I would choose 2 koma Josuke for healing.

  C8:Dio and Battle Koma
 ---------------------------------------

  Dio's Battle Koma
 *****************************
 Out of the three Dio battle koma(4 if you count the alternate 5 koma),
 I'd have to say 6 koma is the best, with 5 koma second, and 4 koma last.
 Time stop is just too useful to pass up. Road Roller is pretty good... but
 time stop is FARRRRR superior to Road Roller. 4 koma isn't that good at
 all, I would just avoid using it.

  Battle Koma For Dio
 *****************************
 Since Dio is a long range fighter with subpar speed, complement him with a
 speedy close range fighter. I also suggest a sword fighter like
 Kenshin(Rurouni Kenshin) or Gintoki(Gintama) to even it out with both power
 and laughter or knowledge. Another option is to go the whole nine yards
 and make your deck an entirly long range. If you want to go this way, I
 suggest Train(Black Cat) or Alan Walker(D-Gray Man).
