***********************************************************************
INTRA Welcome
Hey, all, welcome to my first guide ever! Please excuse any messy or sloppiness
you may notice, and if there is anything wrong with it, or there is wrong
infromation, just email me at [email protected] I will credit
you if I end up putting any advice you give me. I also made it nice and short
for all you lazy people that hate reading long guides, so for you people, this
guide is short and simple, but I still made it as informative as possible.
Otherwise, just enjoy this charecter FAQ on Naruto!

INTRB Version History
1.3 Added more charecter info, as well as adding 1up in the legal info.

1.2 More combos added, more things in legal section (pretty much the
unimportant section).

1.0 Normal guide.

II BASICS BAIC
***********************************************************************
BAICA Controls
The controls for this game are relatively simple, and if you are new to this
game, you should get used to it fairly quickly. These controls are for when
you are fighting in game.

 Left/Right- move left and right

 Down/L/R- Guard
Up- For using moves that require the up button

 A-To jump

 B-Quick (usually) but weak attacks.

Y-Strong (not really slow...some are however) attacks.

x-The special attacks!! you press up and x for a different special attack

Down/L/R and Y/B A push (used to push boxes without breaking them, and you can
push opponents)

Touch Screen, tapping on a one square tile (1-koma)-a status effect is granted.

Touch Screen, tapping a 2-3 tile (2-3 koma)- summons a support charecter
performing a special attack or provides some effect, then leaves.

Touch Screen, tapping a 4-7 tile (4-7 koma)- changes battle charecter,
charecter you can move and attack with.

---
BAICB What is Koma?
A koma is 1 or more tiles connected on the bottom screen that are
fundamental in this game. Dont ask me WHY they are called koma, they just are.
Each deck you create must have at least 1 1-koma, 1 2-3 koma, and at least 1
4-7 koma. Tag attack komas do not count as a 1 koma requirement (I will get to
these later).

---
BAICC Different Types of Koma
There are help, support, and battle koma. 1 komas which grant status
effects, are help komas. 2-3 komas that you summon into battle are support
komas, and 4-7 komas are battle komas, komas you play as. Usually higher komas
are stronger in stamina(HP) and special attack damage. Each deck must have one
of each.

---
BAICD The "Koma Triangle"
Each koma, with the exception of help and blank komas (komas you unlock)
attack with knowlage, laughter, or power attacks. Knowlage has 1.5x damage on
laughter, laughter on power, and power on knowlege (remeber this, as it can be
very useful). Each charecter is also one of those types (for example, Naruto is
a power type charecter, but his 7 koma has the special attacks of a knowlage and
power type nature. Naruto, however, has a weakness to laughter type attacks).
---
BAICE How do I make a Deck?
To make a deck, from the main menu choose the second to the last option
and tap on "new". From here you should see a grid with 20 blocks on the top and
a bunch symbols and letters (japanese unfortunately, dont get your hopes up).
When you unlock komas, they will be blank, and at the bottom of the touch
screen, to make them playable, you need to insert the help komas required to
make the koma a support/battle koma. Once you have unlocked everything (took me
some time) there will be no more blank komas. Anyway, when you tap on a koma,
the top screen will come down, and you can place it wherever. Remeber (in case
I havent told you... I forgot if I put this in or not) each deck must consist
at least 1 help, 1 support, and 1 battle.

III CHARACTER CHTE
***********************************************************************
CHTA Naruto Uzumaki, history
Naruto Uzumaki is from the manga and anime series Naruto.

Naruto seems like your average ninja (pfft like any of them are average)
in the village hidden in leaves, but he is far from ordinary, he has a vicious
nine-tailed fox within him, which, long ago, threatened to destroy everything.
Because of this, others shun him, and Naruto is inspired to become the next
hokage (best type of ninja) and become respected by others (and to kick
Sasuke's butt).
*SPOILERS*
Uzumaki Naruto becomes able to channel some of Kyuubi (the nine tailed fox)
chakra. This chakra becomes very useful, and is often released with alot of
emotional despair, or life threatining situations. This is later released in a
greater volume in episodes 130 and up, when he begins fighting with Uchiha
Sasuke. Kyuubi then grabs hold of Naruto, and is surrounded by an orange
bubbling aura. This aura seems to protect Naruto, but it does damage him, and
takes quite a bit of stamina and chakra to with stand it. He grows an orange
tail.
*MANGA SPOILERS*
In later chapters, it becomes notable that he releases kyuubi chakra quite often
but not of his own accord. He gets to a point when fighting Orochimaru when
his power grows to 4 tails, when he looks like a mini fox. He gets a HUGE power
boost, but he looses his sense of justice, friends, and whatever else Naruto
may have been fighting for.

Some of the other ninjas that are in the game that are bennefited by Naruto, or
Naruto bennifits from, are:

Haruno Sakura (Battle koma available) Favored Attack: um.....Kawarimi?

Uchiha Sasuke (Battle koma available) Favored Attack: Chidori (mini Raikiri)

Hatake Kakashi (Battle koma availble) Favored Attack: Raikiri (Lightning Edge)

Rock Lee Favored attack: Omote Renge, Ura Renge, Renge (Inital, Secondary, and
  Primary Lotus)

Shikamaru (Dont know the surname) Favored attack: Kage mane no jutsu (Shadow
  copy jutsu)

Jiraiya (only help koma) Favored attack: Rasengan, Kuchiose no Jutsu

Hyuuga Neji Favored attack: Jyuukenhou, Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou (64 strikes of
divinity), Hakkeshou Kaiten (heavenly spin), and Hakke Hyaku Ni Ju Hashou
  (128 points of divinity)

Hyuuga Hinata Favored Attack: Shugo Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou (guardian divinity
seals: 64 strikes........or something like that)

Tsunade (tsunade baachan ha ha) help koma, Favored Attack: Strong-ass
  Taijutsu

CHTB Where to find his Koma
To find Naruto's komas, you need to finish certain missions in
j-adventure mode (first choice in main screen). You will progress through lands
of Grasslands, Desert of Wandering , Battle City, and Final battleground,
remeber the order, and what each land looks like.

1-koma Naruto-
You start with him

2-koma Naruto-
Desert of Wandering battle 3-2 mission 1, beat all opponents (get the most
points).

3-koma Naruto-
Desert of Wandering battle 3-2 mission 2 Use x attacks at least 3 times (also
do mission 1 AT THE SAME TIME to complete mission 2).

4-koma Naruto-
Desert of Wandering Battle 1-8 mission 1 beat all charecters.

5 koma Naruto-
Battle City mission 1-1 mission 3 have 40 secs left on the timer.

6-koma Naruto-
Final Battleground 1-8 never get koed (and win).

7-koma Naruto- Battle a total of 400 times
For each mission/battle you must complete the 1st mission as well as the
mission you are trying to accomplish. Each koma you unlock will be blank, to
unlock the narutos, just insert the 1-koma Naruto in the empty slot in each
Koma. To complete the 7th koma you will require the Naruto Koma and the Kyuubi
Koma.

Kyuubi Koma- Desert mission 1-9

	HELP AND SUPPORT CHARECTER...
Naruto 1 koma just gives you a critical hit status when you tap him on the
bottom screen.

Naruto 2 koma summons a shadow clone on the opposite side of an opponent and
they both slash inward towards the opponent (24 damage).

Naruto 3 koma farts in your opponents face!!(Seriously, im not joking) and
paralizes whoever smelt it.

	BATTLE KOMA SPECIAL MOVES...
   Naruto 4 koma:
X- Harem no Jutsu (Sexy jutsu in the english version)- Naruto transforms into
a beautiful woman and sends hearts all over the place, whoever is unlucky
enough to get hit gets paralyzed (no damage).
Up X- Same as Naruto 2 koma (24 damage).

   Naruto 5 koma:
X- Rasengan in training- Naruto performs a move where he dashes forward and
hits somone with a big sphere of chakra, knowlege type(27 damage).
Up X- Naruto Renden- Naruto performs a combo with shadow clones knowlege
(28 damage).

   Naruto 6 koma:
X- Rasengan- Basically the same as Rasengan in training except Naruto uses a
shadow clone to help him control the ball of energy and this time, when it hits,
it extends out as a projectile its also reasonably slower. Knowlege type
(30 damage).
Up X- Shadow clone combo- Shadow clones can hit opponents anywhere on the
screen!! Power(24 damage).

   Naruto 7 koma:
X-Rasengan- (he transforms into kyuubi Naruto) BIG. HUMANGOUS. COLOSSAL. Are
some words to describe the size of this rasengan. Its huge and it is a knowlege
type attack, it doesnt extend as a projectile though. (42 damage).
Up X- Power claw- ( Transforms into Kyuubi Naruto) Big red claw grabs opponent
and punches opponent. MMMMMMMM its a power type (41 damage).

To find how much damage knowlege type attacks do to laughter, laughter to power,
and power to knowlege, add half the damage to the current damage (see koma
traingle).

---
CHTD Super-Tag Attack
Every charecter can do a tag attack with another...however, only some
charecters will have a cool animation and be in sync with the other. Naruto has
one super tag attack and thats with Goku (Awesome!!!) To perform a super-tag
attack(or tag) you will require 3 1-komas known as friendship, effort, and
victor(marked with the pirate shounen jump icon). Place these three komas next
to each other in any order, and 2 arrows will appear. Where the 2 arrows point
to are the 2 charecters that will perform a tag or super tag attack when the
friendship, effort, or victory koma are pressed. It does not matter which of
the three komas are pressed to perform tag attacks. The tag attack is
spirit-rasen bomb, Naruto combines his rasengan with goku's spirit bomb (With
my super mystical psychic powers, I forsee a goku guide) (50 damage).
---
CHTF Combos
Now im sure there are many combos in this game for Naruto. Combos (for
those of you who have been living in the stone age) are a series of attacks
that give the opponent hardly or no time to counter. The combos I list are
mainly combos that you can get away with without depleating a special bar.
Now, you can use a finish to the combo with a special attack (I do it many
times) but I somtimes do it without, just to save my precious special bars (or
if im out of em).

If you have any combos you would like to suggest, email me (look around the
guide, its very tedious to type even though typing this sentence in the
parentheses takes longer) and If I add it to my guide, I will be sure to credit
you.
  Combo 1:
 B| Left/Right B| Up B| Left/Right B|** Left/Right Y| Double Tap Left/Right Y
(31 damage total)
This combo takes time getting used to because between first and second and
second and third you have to tap the buttons quickly enough or you have to wait
before you can press it (quite possible a whole second, enough time to give the
opponent time to flee or beat you up with some well timed combos of their own.
...now you wouldnt want that, would you?)

** If you have absolutly perfect timing, where the stars are, you can repeat
the last two buttons (Up B then side B) over and over and over, it takes time
to practice to do it forever but hey, if you want to rack up the damage, do it
a few times, your opponent will get mad and start cursing and blowing his head
off, you might take amusement in watching his head turn red, of course, combos
are harder to excecute when more then 1 other person is playing.

  Combo 2: Up B| Left/Right Y|Up X| (5 koma 36 damage)
This Combo utilizes a special at the end but who cares, as long as you hit em
right? Well this combo is fairly simple (thank god or whoever you worship).
*****Thanks to Cloudfan5 for this combo*****

  Combo 3: B| Left/Right B| Left/Right B| Left/Right Y|X (5 koma, 42 damage)
Hehe this combo has all movements flowing together. Naruto's special at the
end makes for a nice, quick finisher.
*****Thanks to Cloudfan5 again for this combo******

  Combo 4: Up B| Up Y| Left/Right Y| X (5 koma, 50 damage)
Another pretty simple combo with a nice quick special at the end. I only
suggest you use this if there are no platforms above you.
*****Another thanks is in order to....Cloudfan5!**

  Combo 5: Up B| Up Y| Up X (5 koma, 43 damage)
Once again, I recommend you dont use this if there is a platform above you.
Looks really cool (I like Naruto Rendan hehe) a bit more difficult to pull
off.
******Thanks to none other then Cloudfan5!*******

  Combo 6: Up X| Jump (or double jump)| Y| Left/Right Y| X (6 koma, 72 damage)
wow...quite alot of damage... the major flaw in this combo is the time you
have to wait to use the last special..and the fact that it uses up almost 2
bars..if they try to run away from the last special, itll do 9 more damage
(the damage of the special increases to 39 if their far away).
*********Cloudfan5 once again! Thank YOu!************

  Combo 7: B| Left/Right B| Left/Right Y| X (7 koma, 57 damage)
Another flaw is the wait of the special, but if you can pull it off, great!
*********Cloudfan5 strikes again!*******

-Feel free to email me combos-
