It contains information about all the souls and a small description of them. It also contains some Soul Combos and advices to use the souls. Let's just say that, you will find almost everything you need to know about the souls here. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Version ----------------------------------------------------------------- 10/22/05 1.0 === 10/26/05 1.1 === 10/28/05 1.2 === 10/30/05 1.3 === 12/16/05 1.4 === 1/16/08 1.5 (Final Version) ------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Soul List ------------------------------------------------------------- Here you can see some information about the souls. Like: Soul name and how many levels the soul has. It also shows from which enemy you can get the soul. you can also see the souls type (Bullet, Guardian, Enchant or Ability), and a small description of it. I hope this list will help you. But first, I'll explain the Soul levels and Types, so that everyone understands. ----------------------------------- What Are Soul Levels? ----------------------------------- Well, all the souls have their own level. some of them may have 1 and some of them may have 9. And remember that You can't have more than 9 of each soul. Here is a small explanation: About Lv: /9 Souls: --------------------------- Lv: /9 souls are type of souls which have 9 levels. 1 Soul: Level 1/9 2 Souls: Level 2/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 3 Souls: Level 3/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 4 Souls: Level 4/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 5 Souls: Level 5/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 6 Souls: Level 6/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 7 Souls: Level 7/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 8 Souls: Level 8/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) 9 Souls: Level 9/9 (Power Increased Very Slightly) If you have 9 souls of a certain Lv /9 soul the power of that soul will be increased, this way the soul is much more powerful and useful. About Lv: /3 Souls: --------------------------- Lv: /3 Souls Are type of souls which have 3 levels. 1 Soul: Level 1/3 2 Souls: Level 1/3 3 Souls: Level 1/3 4 Souls: Level 1/3 5 Souls: Level 2/3 (Power Increased) 6 Souls: Level 2/3 7 Souls: Level 2/3 8 Souls: Level 2/3 9 Souls: Level 3/3 (Power Greatly Increased) As You can see Lv: /3 Souls Increase their power 2 times. And they still need 9 souls to be upgraded to Lv 3/3. About Lv: /5 Souls: --------------------------- Lv: /5 Souls Are type of souls which have 5 levels. 1 Soul: Level 1/5 2 Souls: Level 1/5 3 Souls: Level 2/5 (Power Increased) 4 Souls: Level 2/5 5 Souls: Level 3/5 (Power Increased) 6 Souls: Level 3/5 7 Souls: Level 4/5 (Power Increased) 8 Souls: Level 4/5 9 Souls: Level 5/5 (Power Increased) As you see Lv. /5 Souls power increase at each level. And Lv: /5 souls also need 9 Souls to reach Lv 5/5. About Lv: /2 Souls: --------------------------- Lv: /2 Souls Are type of souls which have only 2 levels. 1 Soul: Level 1/2 2 Souls: Level 1/2 3 Souls: Level 1/2 4 Souls: Level 1/2 5 Souls: Level 1/2 6 Souls: Level 1/2 7 Souls: Level 1/2 8 Souls: Level 1/2 9 Souls: Level 2/2 (Power Greatly Increased) Lv: /2 Souls are very rare. Actually there is only one enemy who has Lv: /2 Soul, and that's Disc Armor. About Lv: /1 Souls: ---------------------------- Lv: /1 Souls Are type of souls which have only 1 level. So, Lv: /1 Souls can not be upgraded. Even if you have 9 of that soul, the power always remains the same. 1 Soul: Level 1/1 2 Souls: Level 1/1 3 Souls: Level 1/1 4 Souls: Level 1/1 5 Souls: Level 1/1 6 Souls: Level 1/1 7 Souls: Level 1/1 8 Souls: Level 1/1 9 Souls: Level 1/1 See? No upgrades. None. The power will always remain the same. ------------------------------------ What Are Soul Types? ------------------------------------ This Part is easy. I think everybody knows what are the Soul types. But I'll explain them here so that we are sure that everybody knows what they are. Ok, they are really simple, There is 4 types of Souls: Bullet Souls. Guardian Souls. Enchant Souls. Ability Souls. These are the 4 types of souls which we have. Bullet Souls. (Red) --------------------------- As you can see from the term "Bullet", Bullet souls are pretty much all offensive. Almost all of them cause some kind of damage. there maybe only couple bullet souls which are not harmful to the enemies. Most of the Souls are Bullet Souls. Guardian Souls. (Blue) --------------------------------- Guardian souls, once again as you see from the term "Guardian", they are often defensive. For example all the familiars which you can summon are Guardian typed souls. There is also offensive Guardian souls. But the main thing in them is that, when you enable a Guardian soul, the effect of it wont stop till you disable it or you run out of mana. Enchant Souls. (Yellow) ----------------------------------- Enchant Souls are type of souls which will help you in many ways. They may increase your stats or they may do team work with some of the Bullet/Guardian souls. Or they will just simply aid you in battle. Ability Souls (Grey) ----------------------------- Ability Souls are always on. You can Disable them if you like but why disable them when they are always on and they do nothing else than help you in the game. Most of the Ability souls will be received from the Bosses. There was everything about the Soul types. Simple isn't it? if you are new with the game and the levels/types of the souls seem still a bit confusing. Believe me, you will learn them very soon. -------------------------------------------- Advice And Soul Rate. -------------------------------------------- My Advice may be personal, as we all have our own way to play the game, so sometimes you may not completely agree with me, but I try to give a clear picture of the souls and how good they are. Soul Rates. ----------- 5 Stars: Very useful. 4 Stars: Good. 3 Stars: Decent. 2 Stars: Rarely needed. 1 Star: Useless. -------------------------------------------- Soul Rarity Rate -------------------------------------------- * Common Soul ** Uncommon soul *** Very Rare Soul -------------------------------------------- Souls. -------------------------------------------- 1. Zombie Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Zombie Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Lost Village Rarity: * Description: Summon Zombie. Soul Advice: Early in the game it may be used pretty much, but the reason is mostly because there isn't any other souls to use. If you have the Zombie soul level at 9/9 then it's useful to use when the monster is big and blocks the way. The Zombies that Soma summons March trough enemies and do minimal damage. Soul Rate: * ================================ 2. Bat Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Bat Type:Guardian Location of Monster: The Lost Village, Silenced Ruins Rarity: ** Description: Summon Bat as familiar. Soul Advice: Bat soul can be useful early in the game. but if you manage to get it to level 9/9 (3 bats) then it maybe useful even later. But there is so much better familiars to summon that bat soul will be left behind very soon but it's good to use early when you are in The Lost Village and Wizardy Lab. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 3. Ghost Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Ghost Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: *** Description: Separate from the body and conduct reconnaissance. Soul Advice: I haven't used this soul at all. I see no use of it. The ghost moves slowly and can't move far from somas body, since you can't use soma while moving with the ghost. And you can't attack while being a ghost. Soul Rate: * ================================ 4. Skeleton Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Skeleton Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Lost Village, Wizardy Lab, Demon Quest House, Lost Ruins Rarity: ** Description: Throw bones. Soul Advice: Useful when is your first bullet soul. Skeleton Soul works just like Axe armors soul but is much more weaker. Though Soma throws The Bone a little bit more forward, when it throws the axe more upwards. Anyway I think that this soul will not be used after obtaining axe armor soul. Of course you can use it but I don't recommend it... Even after getting the souls level to 9/9 the bone which some throws gets only bigger. But is still weak. Soul Rate: * ================================ 5. Ouija Table Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Ouija Table Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Lost Village Rarity: *** Description: Sit in the chair to regain health. Soul Advice: Now this soul can be very useful! I don't recommend to equip it till you see a chair somewhere. When you see a chair, just equip the soul and press up at the chair to sit down. Your health will restore to full in few seconds... It also restores slightly your MP. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 6. Peeping Eye Soul Lv. /1 Obtained from: Peeping Eye Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Lost Village, Silenced Ruin, Demon Guest House Rarity: *** Description: Identify breakable walls. Soul Advice: As it is hard to obtain it's also pretty useful. I recommend to use this soul after defeating all the bosses and when it's time to explore the map 100%. Just equip this soul and go run all around the rooms of the castle. and if you see a big yellow shining dot at the wall, it means that the wall is breakable. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 7. Axe Armor Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Axe Armor Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Lost Village, Demon Guest House Rarity: * Description: Throw an axe upwards. Soul Advice: As many other early obtained souls, this soul is also pretty useless. Of course it's much more powerful and useful than the Skeleton Soul. But you will soon get souls which are much more better than this soul is. BUT! If you manage to get this souls level to 3/3 then this soul can be pretty useful even later in the game. Then it's very useful even against many bosses. Because at level 3/3 the axe that Soma throws upwards grows bigger and does more damage. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 8. Skull Archer Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Skull Archer Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab, Silenced Ruin Rarity: ** Description: Shoot arrows with deadly accuracy. Soul Advice: This soul is probably the most powerful soul in the game if fully charged. It causes tremendous damage to all the enemies when charged. Skeleton Archers soul is useful when you get it till the end of the game. I recommend to use it against Final Guards, they can die from 2 fully charged arrows. But remember that when charging the arrow, your mana runs out fast. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 9. Warg Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Warg Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Lost Village Rarity: * Description: Use fangs to tear at foes. Soul Advice: very useful soul in certain situations. Though the range isn't very good, but the damage that it causes is pretty high. Specially at level 9/9. Wargs soul is useful early in the game and IF you like it and have mastered the souls power, then it's also useful till certain place of the game (maybe till The Dark Chapel). Soul Rate: *** ================================ 10. Spin Devil Soul Lv: /5 Obtained from: Spin Devil Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Lost Village Rarity: * Description: Create tornadoes. Soul Advice: I didn't find much use for this soul... It can be useful in rare situations since the tornado appears over Somas head. But mostly I don't think you will use this soul much. only in certain situations... i'm not saying it's totally useless... But I don't think you will use this much. since there is so much better Guardian souls than this one. But you are able to absorb enemy bullets with this souls power. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 11. Armor Knight Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Armor knight Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Lost Village Rarity: ** Description: Attack with spinning spear. Soul Advice: Can be useful if surrounded with enemies. It's useful early in the game but soon you will get better guardian souls. While soma is spinning the spear around he can't move. so that's one weak point of this soul. the souls power is decent but not high unless it's at high level. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 12. Student Witch Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Student Witch Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Lost Village, Wizardy Lab Rarity: ** Description: Summon a cat. Soul Advice: No way. There is so much better bullet souls obtained when you get this one. When soma summons the cat, it just runs through enemies and causes minimal damage. Not very useful. only when soma is at high level and enemies die from one blow. But this soul is useless from beginning to the end. Soul Rate: * ================================ 13. Slaughterer Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Slaughterer Type. Bullet Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: ** Description: Smack enemies with quick straight punches. Soul Advice: The punch that Soma does has very bad range, it almost doesn't have range at all. But the damage that soma does is VERY high. but being so close to the enemy is dangerous. if combined well with the werewolf soul then it can be very useful. (Read more at werewolfs soul Advice section) Soul Rate: ** With Werewolf, Soul rate: ***** ================================ 14. Bomb Armor Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Bomb Armor Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: ** Description: Toss a high-power explosives. Soul Advice: The Bomb causes high damage but Soma throws the bomb too close to himself, that's why you need to be close to the enemies while using this soul. I highly recommend to get this souls level to 3/3. then this soul is much more useful. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 15.Golem Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Golem Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: ** Description: Raise STR. Soul Advice: Well this soul is simple. it increases your STR. Higher the level, more STR increased. Actually very useful Enchant soul. It's useful from beginning to the end, specially in boss fights. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 16. Slime Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Slime Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: * Description: Summon a bouncy slime Soul Advice: Very useful in small places. the slimes bounce from walls, floor and roof. pretty useful when obtained. And if known how to use well then it can be pretty useful even till certain place of the game. If you use this soul, I recommend to use summon many slimes at time. But when you get this soul, you all ready how many better bullet souls. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 17. Une Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Une Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell, Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Throw une at a foe. Soul Advice: Only useful against big and slow enemies which don't move much/at all. Soma throws the Une too close to himself and the Une doesn't have much power. There is way too many better bullet souls when you obtain this one, that I don't think that you will use this. I don't recommend to use this soul much since the range and damage is so low. Soul Rate: * ================================ 18. Skeleton Ape Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Skeleton Ape Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Garden of Madness, The Lost Village, Condemned Tower Rarity: *** Description: Throw a foe with incredible power. Soul Advice: This soul is tricky... Alone it does nothing. but if combined with other souls then it can be very useful. (read more in the Skeleton Ape soul combo section) Soul Rate: * Combined, Soul rate: ***** ================================ 19. Manticore Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Manticore Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: ** Description: Grow a tail. Soul Advice: Actually very useful when you get this soul, I found it useful against bosses and many other enemies. the tail that soma grows attacks every time that you attack with soma, This way you strike two times with one strike. But it will get old after a while. Soul rate: *** ================================ 20. Mollusca Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Mollusca Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Summon a mollusca. Soul Advice: This is like many other summon souls: Not very good. Soma just summons a mollusca which races for couple second forward and does medium damage to the enemies. I have never found this soul useful since there is so many better bullet souls when you obtain this. It has a slight chance to poison foes. Soul Rate: * ================================ 21. Rycuda Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Rycuda Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Summon Tunderbolts. Soul Advice: This soul is not very powerful but it can be useful in some situations. The range and the power of the tunderbolt that Soma casts from his hand is very low. But it's useful to use in situations where is lot of weak enemies in the room. When the level of the soul gets to 9/9. the tunderbolt multiples on many enemies. But the damage is still low. I don't recommend to use it much since there is bullet souls which can kill harder enemies from one blow. with this soul you may need three strikes to kill a decent powered enemy. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 22. Mandragora Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Mandragora Type. Bullet Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Shout to send monsters flying. Soul Advice: This Souls is probably one of the best souls there is. It does tremendous damage with very good range. Though the mandragora that Soma throws doesn't have much range... but when it explodes the range/damage is massive. I highly recommend to use this soul. It's useful everywhere. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 23. Yorick Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Yorick Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Kick a skull like a ball. Soul Advice: The Skull that Soma throws does very low damage and also has low range. Bur if you throw the skull and do a slide so that Soma kicks the ball and hits the enemy then it does amazing damage. But is useless against fast enemies which dodge your attacks. And the slide takes you near the enemies, and thats not good. there is better bullet souls to use when you obtain this one, use them! And, the slide kick is hard to do so that it hits the skull. But after you have mastered to do it right... This soul is great! I've heard rumors that it's useful against final guards.... Soul Rate: *** ================================ 24. Skeleton Farmer Soul Lv. /1 Obtained from: Skeleton Farmer Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: *** Description: Enhance the performance of plant type abilities. Soul Advice: Well. Nothing Special... This soul just boosts the power of plant type souls. Like: Une, Mandragora, Corpseweed and Alura une. I highly recommend to use this soul with Mandragora. Then you will do tremendous damage with it. of course alone without any plant type soul this is useless. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 25. The Creature Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: The Creature Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab, The Dark Chapel Rarity: *** Description: Restore HP gradually. Soul Advice: Very useful soul. Every second you restore 1 HP. It's good to have equipped. when you have taken too much damage and there isn't a save spot near just stand somewhere for couple minutes and you have restored about half of your health. but if your soma is at high level so that it has over 700 health, then this soul wont help you much... Soul Rate: **** ================================ 26. Catublepas Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Catublepas Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Garden of Madness, Cursed Clocktower, The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Breath clouds of petrifying gas. Soul Advice: Not very powerful... and the range isn't very good either. but it still does good damage equal the MP that it uses. I recommend to level it up to 3/3. Then you have a chance to petrify the enemies. and then this soul is useful. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 27. Ghoul Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Ghoul Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Silenced Ruin, Garden of Madness Rarity: *** Description: Eat food that is normally unpalatable. Soul Advice: Very useful if you are out of health potions and you have Rotten meat or rusted food tin in your inventory. You see, when equipped this soul you can eat: Rotten Meat, Rusted food tins and Toxic mushrooms. I recommend not to equip this soul till you are planning to eat a food which you normally couldn't. Anyway, this soul has saved me many times. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 28. Corpseweed Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Corpseweed Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: * Description: Summon Corpseweed as a familiar. Soul Advice: Not very useful... The corpseweed appears on top of the Soma and starts dropping seeds from it mouth all the time. The higher the level, more seeds will be dropped down. I don't think this is very good familiar. since there is better guardian souls when you get this one. even after lv. 9/9 this soul isn't very useful. the seeds that corpseweed drops have low damage and low range. Soul Range: ** ================================ 29. Yeti Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Yeti Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Lost Village Rarity: * Description: Create a white orb of dark power that grows as it rolls. Soul Advice: Doesn't take much MP, and is fun. You have to run pretty much till the Snow ball that soma is rolling gets big and powerful. and it often gets stuck somewhere and disappears. and when the Snowball is small it doesn't do much damage. Believe me, this will be fun... but I don't recommend to use it as a weapon in real fights. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 30. Tombstone Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Tombstone Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: *** Description: Nullify petrification. Soul Advice: Very useful! Specially when in Cursed Clocktower. The medusa heads there can petrify you and that's very annoying! So this soul is very useful there and against other enemies which are able to petrify. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 31. Ghost Dancer Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Ghost Dancer Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Demon Guest House, The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Raise LUCK. Soul Advice: One of the most used souls. Best Enchant soul for soul harvesting. Because luck increases the chance to get a soul. I recommend to level up this soul to 9/9. And use it when harvesting souls. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 32. Flying Humanoid Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from. Flying Humanoid Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Cursed Clocktower Rarity: (100%) Description: Raise INT and LUCK. Soul Advice: Soma grows big angel wings and raises his INT and LUCK for few seconds... Useful when harvesting souls. I recommend to use spells after activating this soul, because INT raises the power of spells. And LUCK increases your chance to get souls. So no, this soul isn't very useful when fighting against bosses, I prefer to use it against normal enemies. If needed. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 33. Mini Devil Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Mini Devil Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Summon Mini Devil as a familiar. Soul Advice: Not very good familiar. There is better. Mini Devil is too weak and since there is so many better Familiars to summon this one wont be much used. I recommend not to use this soul alone, unless with the Guillotiner. (Read more in the Soul Combo section) It has a slight chance to curse enemy from above level 2. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 34. Quetzalcoatl Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Quetzalcoatl Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Summon Quetzalcoatl as a familiar. Soul Advice: If you know when to use this soul, then it can be very useful. I recommend to use it against bosses and big enemies. Since it doesn't strike it can be pretty useless sometimes. Try to get the level to 9/9. Then Quetzalcoatl becomes longer and causes more damage. It just spins around Soma and tries to hit the enemies, which is lame.. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 35. Treant Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Treant Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Garden of Maddnes Rarity: *** Description: Increase MP recovery speed. Soul Advice: Yes, you regain faster MP... but very slightly faster... so that you may not see the difference. But it still is useful. Because after using lot of MP equip this soul and fight with attack only. and after while you see how your MP has recovered. When you get Chaos ring... this soul becomes useless. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 36. Amalaric Sniper Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Amalaric Sniper Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Summon an archer to support you. Soul Advice: Powerful, Fast and Cool looking. Need to say more? Yes, this is one of the best bullet souls. It does high damage to enemies and Bosses. And I Highly recommend to use it and level it up to 9/9. the looks wont change at level 9/9 but it becomes much more powerful. And it becomes even more useful with the Skull Archer Soul. (Read more at Soul Combo section) Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 37. Valkyrie Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Valkyrie Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: *** Description: Transform into a Valkyrie and charge at foes. Soul Advice: As it is hard to obtain. but it is very nice soul. When you turn into a Valkyrie you are invincible, but you can't control your self. you just start charging with pretty high speed through enemies. And as Valkyrie your mana runs low pretty fast. I didn't use this soul much because you can't control your self and it takes too much mana. very useless against Bosses. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 38. Great Armor Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Great Armor Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Summon Great Armor as a familiar. Soul Advice: Great Armor is probably the best Familiar there is. When you strike Great Armor Strikes after you. No, it isn't as big as it normally is. It flies above Soma and hits enemies every time you attack. the blows are slow but powerful. I recommend this soul against bosses and when exploring the castle. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 39. Killer Doll Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Killer Doll Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Demon Guest House Rarity: *** Description: Nullify Curses Soul Advice: Maybe not as useful as Tombstone soul, because there isn't many enemies which can curse. Only the Killer Dolls and in New Game + the tanjellys are able to curse. So you wont use this soul much. Maybe when fighting against Tanjellys and Killer Dolls. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 40. Waiter Skeleton Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Waiter Skeleton Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Demon Guest House, Silenced Ruin Rarity: ** Description: Serve delicious curry. Soul Advice: As a bullet soul it's pretty useless. But without this soul you can't Get yetis soul. So in that way this soul is a bit useful after all. When soma throws the curry bowl on the ground, if the enemies touch it they suffer minimal damage. So yes, as a bullet soul this is useless. And at level 3/3 the size of the curry bowl icreases. Remember to use it while killing Iron Golem. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 41. Persephone Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Persephone Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Demon Guest House Rarity: ** Description: Enable "Magic Vacuum". Vacuums up enemy HP. Soul Advice: The vacuum does small damage to the enemy and from each struck Soma restores 2 HP. I recommend to level it up to 3/3 as it becomes more powerful and drains more HP. But the range of the vacuum always remains short. Very useful with Succubus soul. You can also drain enemies bullets like Killer Clown's cards and etc... Also use it to blow up Witch Student's skirt up :) Soul Rate: **** ================================ 42. Witch Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Witch Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel, Demon Guest House Rarity: ** Description: Launch magic shots that track targets. Soul Advice: Not very powerful but it does track the enemy. Even after leveling it to 3/3 it's still pretty useless. I recommend to use it to flying enemies, because the magic shot tracks and kills them since most of the flying enemies are weak. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 43. Buer Soul Lv: /5 Obtained from: Buer Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Demon Guest House Rarity: * Description: Wear a cloak of tumbling fire. Soul Advice: Does very small damage, but can be useful. I often use it when there isn't save point near and I have low health. It does save lives, trust me. And I recommend to level it up to 5/5. Because then enemies suffer more from the fireballs around Soma, and also the amount of fireballs increase. At each level one more fireball appears around Soma. At level 5 Soma has 5 Fireballs around him. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 44. Lilith Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Lilith Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Demon Guest House Rarity: ** Description: Increase INT. Soul Advice: Simply Increases your INT. INT increases the power of your spells. I really don't recommend to use Lilith soul, when you have much better Enchant souls. But if you really want to make this soul useful, then Level it up to 9/9. Then the amount of INT is increased even more. Do you really think that this is the Enchant soul you should have equipped? I don't recommend that. there is better Enchant souls. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 45. Killer Clown Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Killer Clown Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Demon Guest House Rarity: ** Description: Throw cards as weapons. Soul Advice: Good Range, Medium Damage, Fast and cool looking. I recommend to level it up to 9/9, Then you will start seeing familiar faces on the cards. and the cards do much more damage. This is pretty good Bullet soul, but i don't recommend it on boss fights. And if you like to use this as your bullet soul a lot, then i recommend to use it with the Skeleton Ape soul, as the cards become even faster. Soul rate: **** ================================ 46. Skelerang Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Skelerang Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Lost Village, Demon Guest House, Silenced Ruin, Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Enhance throwing ability. Soul Advice: Only useful when using long range weapons (Boomerang, Death sickle etc...) But I really Don't recommend it, unless you really like to use weapons like that. Because weapons like: 2h Swords, 1h Swords, spears and axes are much more powerful. And I recommend to use some other Enchant soul than this. Believe me, there is better. thoigh this soul isn't completely useless. Can be handy sometimes :) Soul Rate: ** ================================ 47. Fleaman Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Fleaman Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Condemned Tower Rarity: ** Description: Summon Fleaman. Soul Advice: Don't use this soul as your Bullet soul. Soma summons Fleamans to start bouncing in the room and causing minimal damage to the enemies. And the will disappear very soon. Only good thing that I see in this soul is that, when you are in Bat Form you Can still summon Fleamans (Read more in Soul Combo section). Since there is so many better Bullet souls, I think this one will be one of the less used souls. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 48. Devil Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Devil Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Cursed Clocktower, Silenced Ruin, Demon Guest House Rarity: ** Description: Enter a pact with the Devil to sharply raise STR. Soul Advice: Useful Soul.... But only when you don't have low health. When you enter a pact with the Devil, Soma will lose 10 HP every second, But Somas attacks will do tremendous damage while in the pact. I recommend to use it against powerful enemies and some bosses. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 49. Guillotiner Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Guillotiner Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Pinnacle, The Dark Chapel Rarity: * Description: Summon Guillotiner from hell. Soul Advice: Sometimes it's hard to hit with the Guillotiner. Because it appears pretty close to Soma and strikes pretty fast. But when you manage to hit with it, it does heavy damage. It's very useful against some bosses. And also when exploring the Castle. Remember to use it with the Mini Devil soul (Read more at the Soul Combo section). Soul Rate: **** ================================ 50. Draghiganazzo Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Draghignazzo Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Condemned Tower Rarity: *** Description: Raise resistance to flinching upon taking damage. Soul Advice: I have found this soul useful in all the situations. I Highly recommend to use it if you use Maces, Axes or 2h Swords as your main weapon. Because slow weapons like them are hard to hit with. Most of the time when Soma raises his Axe, Mace or Claymore he gets struck and the attack ends. But if you have Draghiganazzo soul equipped, Soma wont flinch after receiving an enemy attack, unless you are hit in the air. And remember that though you don't flinch you still lose health after every hit. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 51. Needles Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Needles Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell Rarity: ** Description: Summon Needles as a familiar. Soul Advice: Again one of those pretty useless familiars. When soma summons needles as his Familiar, needles attack every now and then. I haven't found this soul useful at all. It does very minimal damage and moves slowly. Only good point it has is to combine it with the Fish head soul(Read more at the Soul Combo section) Soul Rate: * ================================ 52. Hell Boar Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Hell Boar Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Lost Village, The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Knock down enemies with power-packed uppercuts. Soul Advice: This soul works just like Slaughterer soul. It has a little bit more Power, but has even less range. And I recommend to use this with the werewolf soul, just like slaughterer soul. Soul Rate: ** With Werewolf, Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 53. Bone Pillar Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Bone Pillar Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel Rarity: *** Description: increase CON. Soul Advice: This is just like Lilith, Golem and Ghost Dancer Soul. But Ghost Dancer and Golem souls are useful, but this is like Lilith soul, Not so useful.. Yes it does increase CON but I recommend to use some other Enchant soul than this one. CON will just increase Somas Defense. It's not totally useless if you level it up to 9/9, but there is much better Enchant souls than this one. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 54. White Dragon Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: White Dragon Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Abyss, The Dark Chapel Rarity: ** Description: Breathe fire. Soul Advice: This is just like Catublepas soul. When holding R button, Soma starts shooting Short Range fire from his hand which does minimal damage. Catublepas soul had a chance to petrify enemies at level 3/3 but White Dragon soul doesn't have anything special, not even at lv.3/3, then the power just increases, but is still low. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 55. WakWak Tree Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: WakWak tree Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Garden of Madness Rarity: ** Description: Lower STR and raise CON. Soul Advice: Lower ATK and raise DEF? That's not very good trade... ATK power is so much more important than DEF. Besides there is much more better Enchant souls to use. Though It raises CON more than Bone Pillar Soul does, because it lowers STR. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 56. Imp Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Imp Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Cursed Clocktower Rarity: ** Description: Create space that inflicts spiritual damage. Soul Advice: Useless against certain enemies. When you activate this, the enemies around you get a lower max HP. This way it doesn't take so many blows to kill them. Useless against weak enemies, but powerful against Defensive enemies. This soul is probably the best soul to use when fighting against Iron Golem or Final Guard. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 57. Harpy Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Harpy Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Cursed Clocktower Rarity: ** Description: Summon Harpie as a familiar. Soul Advice: This is a good familiar just like Great Armor is. Though it works a little bit differently. When summoning Great Armor, it hits every time Soma attacks, But when summoning Harpy, it attacks all the time. It appears like all the other familiars, above Soma. Harpy is useful familiar against bosses. I recommend to level it up to 3/3, as it grows more powerful and useful. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 58. Barbariccia Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Barbariccia Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Dark Chapel, Garden of Madness Rarity: *** Description: Transform into Barbariccia. Soul Advice: Works exactly like Valkyrie soul, but the shape is different. When as Valkyrie, soma looks like an angel, and as Barbariccia Soma looks like a Demon. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 59. Malachi Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Malachi Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Abyss, Cursed Clocktower, Demon Guest House, The Pinnacle Rarity: ** Description: Summon a dark sphere that spew dark energy. Soul Advice: This is the same attack that Dimitrii uses against you, before you use some souls power on him. The Dark Sphere does medium damage, has medium range and moves slowly. The slow moving is a advantage, because enemy gets stuck to the sphere and suffer more. Pretty useful Bullet soul. Useful against many bosses. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 60. Cave Troll Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Cave Troll Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell, Wizardy Lab Rarity: * Description: Attack by lashing out the tongue. Soul Advice: Soma lashes the enemies with his tongue and causing minimal damage. The higher the souls level, longer the tongue. There is better bullet souls than this. Damage that this soul causes is very low, though the range is pretty good. I didn't find this soul useful in any situation. Soul Rate: * ================================ 61. Larva Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Larva Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Silenced Ruin Rarity: ** Description: Summon Larva. Soul Advice: When Soma summons the Larva, it races through enemies and causes medium damage to the enemies. leveling up this soul increases the damage done by the larva and the speed of it. I found this soul useful only against weaker enemies. If you have managed to level it up to 3/3, then it can be useful against some of the bosses. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 62. Heart Eater Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Heart Eater Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Abyss, Wizardy Lab Rarity: *** Description: Obtain more hearts. Soul Advice: This souls power is simple. If you seem to have problems with mana, then this soul can be useful. You obtain more hearts from the breakable lights... but I wouldn't equip this soul, just to earn more hearts. There is better souls to equip instead of this. If you have problems with mana, just break the lamps and you will get your mana back in no time... Soul Rate: ** ================================ 63. Merman Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Merman Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell, Wizardy Lab Rarity: * Description: Shoot a stream of water. Soul Advice: This soul is incredibly useless. It has medium range and minimal damage. Even after getting it to level 3/3 it's still useless. The stream simply does too low damage. It's useless against all the enemies (except the ones which die from one tiny blow, like zombies and bats) and bosses. Soul Rate: * ================================ 64. Fish Head Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Fish Head Type: Buller Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell Rarity: ** Description: Throw Fish Head's head. Soul Advice: Low Range, medium damage. So yes, as a bullet soul this is also useless. Only thing that makes it good is that it combines with needles (Read more at the Soul Combo section). And you can cast it from air and drop the Fish Head on the enemies... which is also good. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 65. Medusa Head Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Medusa Head Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Cursed Clocktower Rarity: *** Description: Become capable of hovering in one location. Soul Advice: this soul is useful only in certain situations. In Paranoia boss, I used the souls power to dodge the laser that Paranoia shoots from the mirror. And it's very fun and cool to use it to make your "Stomp" (down and B button in air) much much more powerful... While in air use this souls power to hower and then do the stomp and it does tremendous damage! How much longer in air the more powerful is the stomp. But you have to practise it to do it in fights. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 66. Ukoback Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Ukoback Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell Rarity: ** Description: Set fires. Soul Advice: Soma leaves fire balls for enemies to get hit by them. Just like Ukoback does. The Fire balls do medium damage and can actually be pretty useful sometimes. For example I have found this useful against some of the bosses. But still there is better Bullet souls to use than this... Soul Rate: ** ================================ 67. Killer Fish Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Killer Fish Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell, Wizardy Lab Rarity: ** Description: Launch torpedoes in water. Soul Advice: The torpedoes are actually small killer Fish's. This soul is useless on the ground, but in water it does tremendous damage. So yeah, use it only underwater.... and it's also useful against Rahab. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 68. Mimic Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Mimic Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Garden of Madness, Wizardy Lab, Subterranean Hell, Demon Guest House Rarity: *** Description: Gain money when taking damage. Soul Advice: Need Money? Equip this soul and go get your butt kicked. Though you only get 1$ from each hit that you receive. But if you jump on spikes you get 100$. And if you have Gold Ring equipped, jump with this soul on spikes and get 500$. But I don't recommend to equip this when fighting against enemies and bosses. But this soul is very good for money making. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 69. Dead Pirate Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Dead Pirate Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Subterranean hell, Cursed Clocktower Rarity: ** Description: May cause greater damage on enemies attacked from behind. Soul Advice: Pretty useless against bosses and enemies which are able to turn around fast. But if you use Puppet Master soul with this you can get easily behind your foe and backstab them causing much more damage than normally. Though it's sometimes hard to get behind some of the enemies. Enemies like Iron Golem which are unable to turn around are doomed if you use Puppet Master soul to get behind them and kill them by using this souls power. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 70. Frozen Shade Soul. Lv: /3 Obtained from: Frozen Shade Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell, The Abyss Rarity: ** Description: Create a blade of ice that causes freezing. Soul Advice: Works almost just like Aguni soul, but looks cooler. Soma summons ice spikes from ground which move forward and cause High damage to the enemies. Very useful against enemies which are in ground but useless against them which fly... I have found this useful also against few bosses. One of my favorite Bullet souls, pity it doesn't hit the flying enemies. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 71. Homunculus Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Homunculus Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Wizardy Lab Rarity: * Description: Summon Homunculus. Soul Advice: One of the most useless souls in the whole game. The homunculus's which Soma summons, move slowly, cause minimal damage and disappear fast. Useless against enemies and specially bosses. Even after getting it to level 9/9 it's still as useless as it was. I don't recommend to use it since there is so many better Bullet souls than this. Soul Rate: * ================================ 72. Disc Armor Soul Lv: /2 Obtained from: Disc Armor Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Condemned Tower Rarity: ** Description: Hurl a sharp-edged circular blade. Soul Advice: Fast, low range and medium damage. Pretty useful soul since it can be cast from air. I highly recommend to level it up to 2/2 because the damage will increase from medium to high. This soul is useful against normal enemies and bosses, because it's so fast and has pretty decent power... Soul Rate: **** ================================ 73. Decarabia Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Decarabia Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell Rarity: * Description: Hurl a Decarabia Soul Advice: soma hurls a Decarabia on enemies, It has once again low power, though it doesn't disappear fast like many other soul powers do... But it's still pretty useless in boss fights or when fighting against normal enemies... I recommend to use some other bullet soul than this. Even after level 9/9 it's as powerless than it was earlier. Soul Rate: * ================================ 74. Dead Mate Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Dead Mate Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Silenced Ruin Rarity: * Description: Summon a dog. Soul Advice: Works like Student witch soul (Summon Cat). But this one is more powerful. I highly recommend to level it up to 9/9, then the dog that Soma summons runs through enemies with high speed and does decent damage. So, I recommend this soul more than the student witch soul. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 75. Bugbear Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Bugbear Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Mine of Judgement, The Pinnacle, Cursed Clocktower Rarity: *** Description: Gain resistance to lightning. Soul Advice: I haven't used this soul much, because there isn't many enemies which have electric powers. I used this soul only when I was fighting against Death (Boss). Soma did take less damage from his second forms attacks. But still, there is way much better Enchant souls than this one. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 76. Procel Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Procel Type: Ability Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell Rarity: *** Description: Increase mobility in water. Soul Advice: This one is a Ability soul. And yes, it is useful. Though there isn't much water, but it's still useful on the parts where there is. I Recommend to try to catch this soul. It's easier to run in the water. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 77. Bone Ark Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Bone Ark Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell, Silenced Ruin Rarity: *** Description: Summon a skeleton to provide transportation. Soul Advice: You wont use this souls much. But you will need When passing the water and spike room in subterranean Hell. And it's also very useful against bosses to dodge their attacks. And when at low health use this soul to pass the rooms. So, on second thought it can be quite useful. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 78. Gorgon Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Gorgon Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Silenced Ruin Rarity: *** Description: Breathe a toxic gas. Soul Advice: Works just like Catublepas and white Dragon soul. But this soul has a slight chance to poison the enemy. If you manage to get this souls level to 3/3 then it's much easier to poison your foes. Power and range is just like catublepas and White Dragons soul. Once again, there is better Guardian souls than this one... Though this isn't totally useless. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 79. Alura Une Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Alura Une Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Subterranean Hell Rarity: ** Description: Summon Alura Une as a Guardian. Soul Advice: Very useful when surrounded by enemies. When you summon Alura une, you are not invincible but the hands (or what ever they are) of Alura une do pretty high damage. BUT! When Soma summons Alura Une to be his guardian he becomes unable to move... which is bad. But combining Une with this soul is very useful.(Read more at the Soul Combo section) Also very useful againts bosses, since the MP cost is low and the attacks do high damage. Use the stylus to choose who to attack. At lv.9/9 Alura Une's attacks do devastating damage. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 80. Great Axe Armor Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Great Axe Armor Type: Bullet Location of Monster: Condemned Tower, Wizardy Lab, The Lost Village Rarity: *** Description: Perform a spinning sweep with a huge axe. Soul Advice: One of the best bullet souls. The huge axe that cleaves around Soma and does Massive damage is very useful in almost every situation. I Highly recommend to level this soul up to 9/9 if possible (Very hard to obtain). Great Axe Armor Soul is useful against normal enemies and specially in boss fights. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 81. Mothman Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Mothman Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Pinnacle Rarity: * Description: Gain more experience points. Soul Advice: Soma Simply gains more Exp. If combined with Shaman Ring, you will get LOT of Exp. I recommend to equip this soul only when you are really going for Exp Hunt. But in normal battles it won't help you at all. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 82. Mushussu Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Mushussu Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Pinnacle Rarity: ** Description: Grow a poisonous tail. Soul Advice: Works Exactly like Manticore soul. But the power is higher and this Tail has a slight chance to poison Enemies. If you like to use the tails, because they are pretty useful in certain situation, I recommend to use this one, because of the poisoning ability and higher power. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 83. Dead Crusader Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Dead Crusader Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Pinnacle, Silenced Ruin Rarity: *** Description: Reduce the amount of damages from attacks. Dead Warrior Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Dead Warrior Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Pinnacle Rarity: *** Description: Use Bullet typed souls while executing standard attacks. Soul Advice: While equipping this soul Soma is able to interrupt a weapon attack with a bullet soul. It can be very useful in certain situations. I didn't find much use for this soul against bosses but it can be very handy in normal battles against enemies... Soul Rate: *** ================================ 85. Erinys Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Erinys Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Pinnacle, The Abyss Rarity: *** Description: unleash divine energy that causes widespread damage. Soul Advice: Soma Summons an Angel to do massive area effect but with pretty low range. This is very useful against bosses and normal enemies. The soul is pretty hard to obtain but it is worth it. One reason it's very useful is that it can be cast even in air. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 86. Succubus Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Succubus Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Pinnacle, Demon Guest House, The Abyss Rarity: ** Description: Regain HP by drinking blood. Soul Advice: Soma drinks enemy blood and regains health. Has short range and does medium damage. I recommend to use this along with the persephone soul. That way you will regain lot of health. With succubus soul something around 70 HP from each bite and with the vacuum 2 HP every second. But the only problem is that you have to be pretty close to the enemy. you can also use the souls power on breakable items like: candelabras and statues. The higher INT you have, more you will drain health. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 87. Ripper Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Ripper Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Abyss, Mine of Judgement Rarity: ** Description: Throw knifes. Soul Advice: Soma throws fast but very low powered knives at enemies. As said, the knifes have low power but have incredible speed, specially when combined with the skeleton Ape soul (read more at the Skeleton Ape soul Combo list section). The knife goes right through all the enemies and doesn't stop at the first enemy that it gets hit by, like killer Clown soul does. But there is much better bullet souls than this. I highly recommend to use killer clown soul than this. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 88. Black Panther Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Black Panther Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Abyss Rarity: * Description: Move at high speed while creating a shockwave. Soul Advice: Probably one of the most useful Guardian souls in the whole game. While holding the R button and running, soma runs with incredible speed and does minimal damage to the enemies. Pity that it wont help you much in the main battles, but it helps you to dodge enemy attacks. End of the game you will probably use this soul more than any other soul. I recommend to combine it with the Valmanway weapon ;) Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 89. Mud Demon Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Mud Demon Type: Ability Location of Monster: The Abyss Rarity: ** Description: Prevent loss os mobility even in sand. Soul Advice: This is ability soul, just like Procel is. It helps you to move easily in the sand. I recommend to get this soul, it will help you to fight against the enemies in the sand section of the Abyss. But remember that Abyss is the only place that has sand... so it will help you only there. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 90. Giant Slug Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Giant Slug Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Mine of Judgement, The Abyss Rarity: *** Description: Nullify Poison. Soul Advice: Pretty useful against enemies which are able to poison you. As you may all ready know that when poisoned, Soma's attacks won't do much damage. So I recommend to equip this soul when you fight against enemies like tanjelly.... (They are so annoying) Soul Rate: *** ================================ 91. Werewolf Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Werewolf Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Pinnacle, Condemned Tower Rarity: ** Description: Perform short dashes. Soul Advice: I have heard many times that "Werewolf soul is useless", but trust me it isn't. Well it is useless if you don't use it with the right soul, but if you use it with Slaughterer soul or Hell Boar soul then it's very useful. Use the werewolf souls power to get near the enemy and use the Slaughterer soul or Hell Boar soul to do tremendous damage. Soul Rate: * With Slaughterer or Hell Boar Soul, Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 92. Flame Demon Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Flame Demon Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Pinnacle, The Abyss, Demon Guest House Rarity: ** Description: Shoot devastating fireballs. Soul Advice: Flame Demon Soul is probably one of the most useful souls in the game. Fast, powerful and long range. If you manage to obtain this soul I highly recommend to use it. it's one of the best souls to use in soul harvesting, because most of the monsters die from 1 or 2 fire balls. Also very useful against bosses. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 93. Tanjelly Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Tanjelly Type: Enchant Location of Monster: Cursed Clocktower, Mine of Judgement Rarity: *** Description: Gain resistance to physical attacks. Soul Advice: Something like Dead Crusader soul. But this soul reduces the damage of physical damages but Dead Crusader soul reduces the damage of all the attacks. I recommend Dead crusader soul than this one. Though this reduces physical damage more than the Dead Crusader soul... Soul Rate: *** ================================ 94. Arc Demon Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Arc Demon Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Abyss Rarity: *** Description: Gain resistance to dark spells and attacks. Soul Advice: There isn't many Dark typed attacks or spells that enemies are able to do, that's why i didn't find much use for this soul. There is better Enchant souls than this one, I recommend them more than this. Soul Rate: ** ================================ 95. Gaibon Lv: /3 Obtained from: Gaibon Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Mine of Judgement Rarity: ** Description: Summon Gaibon as a familiar. Soul Advice: Actually this is pretty useful Familiar. It does decent damage and attacks every once in a while and it looks cool. But has annoying sound. And remember to Combine this soul with Slogra's Soul.(Read more at the Soul Combo section). Soul Rate: *** ================================ 97. Stolas Soul Lv: /9 Obtained from: Stolas Type: Enchant Location of Monster: The Abyss Rarity: *** Description: Raise INT and lower STR. Soul Advice: When you equip this soul, your INT raise and STR lower, Which I don't prefer. It means that your spells do more and attacks less. Of course it's just about how you like it, but I don't recommend it, because spells take mana, but attcks don't take anything. And when your out of mana, you have hard time to kill the enemies... Anyway the choice is yours. If you have high MP or Chaos Ring, then I prefer this. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 98. Final Guard Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Final Guard Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Abyss, The Pinnacle Rarity: *** Description: Gain iron-clad defense. Soul Advice: One of those "Hard to Obtain" souls, but it is worth it, The shield that Soma casts from his hand nothing goes through it. And you will need this soul to upgrade your weapons... so I recommend to try obtaining it. I didn't actually find this soul very useful against bosses, but when fighting against normal enemies in the castle it's very useful to protect your self from enemy attacks... Just practice to use it. Soul Rate: **** ================================ 99. Malacoda Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Malacoda Type: Bullet Location of Monster: The Abyss Rarity: ** Description: Attack with a tail Soul Advice: This is very powerful bullet soul. Soma lashes the enemies around him with a giant tail causing massive damage to them. It has pretty decent range too. Useful against bosses and against normal enemies. Since it can't be leveled up, you don't need to worry about the levels. Instead just lash the hell out of the enemies! Soul Rate: ***** ================================ 100. Alastor Soul Lv: /3 Obtained from: Alastor Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Abyss, The Pinnacle Rarity: ** Description: Summon Alastor as a familiar. Soul Advice: Pretty good familiar, something in same lines as Gaibon. Attacks every once in a while (which means often) with a medium power and speed. It can't be combined with any other soul, but it's still very useful alone. I still recommend Great Armor more than this as a familiar. And if you really like to use Alastrol as your familiar I highly recommend to level it up to 3/3. Soul Rate: *** ================================ 101. Iron Golem Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Iron Golem Type: Guardian Location of Monster: Demon Guest House, The Abyss, Wizardy Lab Rarity: *** Description: Transform into an invincible Iron Golem. Soul Advice: This is one of the Funniest souls ever! It gives you the power to turn into an Iron Golem. It takes lot of MP but if you have Chaos Ring equipped then it doesn't take MP at all (thanks to the regeneration power of chaos ring). As an Iron Golem, you are invincible and slow but powerful, and also unable to jump. So think before transforming into one. I don't think this soul is meant to be used against bosses, mostly just for fun... Soul Rate: **** ================================ 102. Flying Armor Soul (Boss) Lv: /1 Obtained from: Flying Armor Type: Guardian Location of Monster: The Lost Village Description: Reduce the speed of falling. Soul Rate: ***** ================================ Hell Fire Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Beat the Game + with hard Type: Bullet Description: Fire 3 fireballs at the enemy. Soul Advice: Soma shoots 3 small fire balls which cause high damage. Same attack that Alucard has in julius mode. I don't recommend this soul against bosses, Since there is so many better bullet souls to use against them. It can be obtained after beating the new game + with hard. cast time of this soul is a bit slow...and it can't be casted from air like flame demon soul... Soul Rate: **** ================================ Doppelganger Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: Garden of Maddnes. Type: Ability Description: Switch souls and equipment using the X button. Soul Advice: Most useful soul in the game. Makes things so much easier! Pushing the X button changes the equip settings. Very useful! Soul Rate: ***** ================================ Hippogryph Soul Lv: /1 Obtained from: The Abyss Type: Ability Description: Press Up + L button to jump higher, Soul Advice: Soma jumps to the roof. Replaces the Bat Company soul in many situations. Pity it's obtained so late. I recommend to use it when at low damage and the enemy is just going to hit you, just jump to the roof by using this ability and dodging the enemy attack(s). This ability can be very handy sometime. Learn to use it. ----------------------------------------------------------------- I hope this list will help you in the game. Hippogryph Soul and Doppelganger Soul are breakable items in the game. so they're not enemies. And you can command Familiars to attack certain enemy by pointing at it with your stylus. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.Soul Combos ------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know all the soul combos yet, But I will put here all that I know. ---------------------- What are Soul Combos? ---------------------- they are simply combo of 2 souls.
