Item list xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Introduction xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Animal Crossing: Wild World is a game where you can do almost anything. You can fish, catch bugs, participate in festivals, and help neighbors. There are almost no limits. I hope this guide helps you. In this guide youll find hints, tips, and much, much more. I hope its useful! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Controls xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx L or R- nothing B- Pick items up or cancels action A- Interact with people or select item Start- saves the game Select- nothing Stylus or d-pad- move around xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Starting the game xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You start out the game in a cab ride with Capn. Hell ask you a bunch of questions that determine your name, gander, and where you live. (Hell ask you what brought you to the town, and whatever you chose, your house will be closest to that place or thing) After that, youll go into the town hall. Talk to the girl. It doesnt matter which option you chose. Then use your map to go to your house. As youll see, theres not much there. When youre ready, leave. On your way out, youll run into Nook. Hell tell you to meet him at his shop and about your enormous dept. Go to his store. Hell give you a bunch of work On the Brightside, it will give you 1,500 bells out of your dept. Now youre free to do whatever you want. Yahoo! Im free! Thats what your character will shout. Or something like that. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ressetti xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ressetti is an annoying little mole who pops up every time you play the game after not saving the last time you got off. He will lecture you, and if you have seen him before, yell at you for not listening. There is a trick to avoid him though. Simply save before you exit your house, and he won't show up. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Making money xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx There are many ways to make money in ACWW. My advice is to experiment. -Foreign Fruit- One way to go is foreign fruit. The first step is to send a letter to everyone in your town. Be sure to attach a piece of fruit to each letter. Open the letters you get back. If you get some foreign fruit, thats good. Do this until you have about 20 pieces of foreign fruit. The next step is to plant all the fruit. But not like regular trees. You need a shovel, axe, and watering can. Once you have all those, chop down a non-fruit tree. Dig out the stump and plant a piece fruit. Do this with all the fruits. Then water all the saplings. Make sure to water them every day until theyre fully grown!!! Oh, and if you have coconuts, its a lot more complicated. In my opinion, its not worth it. For coconuts, you have to grow a tree on the soil between the sand on the beach and the grass. You have to grow your own because trees dont grow there. Then cut and plant. The reason I say its not worth it is because it only has 2 fruits, while other fruit trees all have 3. But, do whatever you want. Anyway, back to growing foreign fruit trees. Alright. Dont sell the fruit until you have a nice size orchard. Keep planting the fruit. And if you plan on having a huge orchard, dont cut all the non-fruit trees down. Cut the native fruit trees down. Ill explain why later in this section. Once your orchard is a size to your liking, you can sell the fruit for 500 bells each! With 3 fruit per tree, if you had an orchard of 100 trees, that would be 50,000 bells every day!!! This is personally my favorite way to make cash. I have a whole orchard. Whenever I need cash, I just shake some trees for some fruit! -Collecting shells- This is a horrible way to make cash in my opinion. They rarest shell is the pearl oyster. But that only sells for 1,500 bells! And you rarely find one of those. But if you just started, its ok. But I do recommend sweeping the beach, because once in a while a coconut washes up. -Fishing and Bug catching- These are pretty good ways to make bells. Fishing is pretty easy. Just buy a rod and cast when you see a fish, which appear as a shadow in the water. Most fish sell for a pretty good price. Bug catching can be good too. The best way to make money this way is to catch a bee. Not a normal honey bee. No way. Have your net ready. Not equipped, but ready. Shake non-fruit trees until a nest falls out. Run south and quickly equip your net. Run to the swarm and swing your net. If you catch it, you can sell it for 4,500 bells! If you don't, you'll get stung and get a large bump on your face. Get rid of it by turning of the game or buying medicine and using it. Also, if you ever find yourself playing at night, equip your net. There are some rare bugs hanging about the trees.... Like the herculese beatle. A lot of bugs only come out at night. And if you don't play at night, just set the time of day to night. I recomend doing this on the ds screen, not in the game. The reason is because this can cause glitching. Bad glitching like the game freezing up. So don't do it. Like Resetii would say, JUST DON'T DO IT!!! -Fossils- Selling fossils is not a very good idea if you care about the museum. If you get a double, then you can sell it. I dont recommend using this method if there are other ways you can get bells. If you're just starting out though. it is a quik way to make some cash if your really in need. When you see an x like marking in the ground, equip your shovel and dig. It could be a fossil, trash, or an item. If you want to get the museum 100% done, you must donate one of each fossil, bug, and fish.. Which isn't easy. -Shaking trees- Shaking trees can be a good way to make bells. What you do is go around and shake all the non-fruit trees. This is why I said not to cut all the non-fruit trees down in the foreign fruit section. Some of the trees will have one 100 bell bags. And some of them will have furniture or a bee nest. You can sell the furniture and try and catch the rare bee. -Trash?- A nice way to make money on this game is garbage picking. Yep. You read right. Garbage picking. Head to the town hall. Check the recyclable box. Take anything in there out and sell it too Nook for easy cash. Also, check the lost and found by going to the gate and talking to Booker. Take everything but the pitfall seeds. Nook won't buy these and they're worthless. You know the sayin, "One mans trash is another mans treasure?" It's true in a wild world. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The Environment xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Taking care of the environment is a big part of ACWW. It makes your town look good, and it keeps your neighbors happy. Keeping the environment in good condition means picking weeds, making sure theres no trash on the ground, and picking shells off the beach. This can be hard work. But just pick up a piece of trash as you run errands for Nook. Or pick a weed when fishing. The little things add up. In the town hall, you have the option to read letters from townmembers regardeing the environments condition. Normally, you will get suggestions on how to improve the town. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Town Hall xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx There are many thing to do in the town hall. You can access your bank, mail letters, pick through the recycle bin, give money to the town of Boondox, and read letters about the environment. You can also pay off your debt to Tom Nook. -Boondox The town of Boondox is a neighboring town that's poor. Basically, you just donate money. But there is an upside. If you donate enough, you can get a reward. They are as follows: Green Feather- Donate 10k bells. Blue Feather- 200k bells. Yellow Feather- 500k bells. Red Feather- 800k bells. Purple Feather- 1.1 million bells. White Feather- 1.4million bells. Rainbow feather- 6.4million bells. Museum Model- you have to donate more than any other save game. -Bank Here, you can deposit or withdraw money. Over time money in the bank will increase. Phyllis's picture Save 500,000,000 bells. Town Hall Model Save 999,999,999 bells. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Museum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You can look at countless items at the museum. Dinosaurs, bugs, fish, and constellations. That is, if you donate them first. You can also buy coffee, listen to music and make constellations. Its a useful place. To complete it, you have to donate EVERY kind of fish, fossil, and bug. If you care about the museum, only sell doubles. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Upgrades xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx There are house upgrades and shop upgrades. You have to pay for the house ones. But not for the shop ones.(Thank God!!!!) -Sore upgrades Nook 'n' Go lvl2 Spend 25000 bells Nookway lvl3 Spend 90000 bells Nookingtons final Spend 240000 bells and have a friend shop at the store -House upgrades First house expansion- Pay off 19,800 Bells in the Town hall Second house expansion- Pay off 120,000 Bells in the Town hall Left room- Pay off 598,000 Bells in the Town hall Upstairs room- Pay off 298,000 Bells in the Town hall Right room- Pay off 728,000 Bells in the Town hall Back room- Pay off 848,000 Bells in the Town hall xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Golden Tools xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Golden tools are tools that never brake. -Axe Trade a scallop seashell to Pascal for the golden axe. -Watering Can This is the hardest golden tool to get. You have to keep the environment clean for 16 days! That is hard work. -Shovel Getting the golden shovel is relatively easy. Buy two shovels, bury one, and then dig it up after 24 hours.
