Copyright (8.00) -------- Introduction 1.00 -------- Hello to the readers of this FAQ. Its my first one so be patient with me. If I miss anything or you have a different type of money making skill, Ill be happy to read this if you email me at [email protected]. Anyway, this guide is how to make money (without cheating maybe) in the game of Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing Wild world is on going game so you can play till youre dead, although I doubt anyone is going to play it that long, but that doesnt matter. You start off with Kappn asking you questions and you simply answer them to determine your characters looks, but I dont care about this, this a money making FAQ. Onto the Money making scheme! ----------- Version History 2.00 ----------- First version 1.0: 18th January 2009 Finishing guide. No FAQs. Hope I get accepted into gameFAQs Finished on: 20th January 2009 I didnt expect to finish this in 3 days. I thought it would take like a week. At least Im finished. The room the computer is in is hot as. I cant wait to be able to stay in my living room where there is air conditioner. 1.1: 1st February 2009 Added section about animal hobbies, animal deliveries, actual money trees, interest and Lyle. Finished on: 1st February 2009 Damn. I didnt get accepted into GameFAQs, but Ill try neoseeker, supercheats and cheatsguru. 1.2: 15th February 2009 This is starting to get a bit annoying. Ill try IGN. 1.3:19th February 2009 Yes!! Finally I get accepted. Thank you IGN. Now I'm going to try www.chaptercheats.com --------- Walkthrough 3.00 --------- Fruit 3.01 Fruit I would say is one of the most easiest way to get money. Of course, this would only apply to non native fruit. If you dont have a non native fruit, you can easily be supplied with one. The most straightforward way to get it is to go to someone elses town and get one of theirs. Another way to get a non native fruit is to send a letter to one of your animal neighbours and attach a piece of fruit to it. They will always send a letter back (If the letter was in plain English.) with sometimes another piece of fruit which most likely is not native to your town. As soon as you get this fruit, bury it somewhere and hope it grows into a tree. If you want to make sure that the tree will grow into a tree, chop down a different tree, and use a shovel to shovel out the stump. Next, bury the piece of fruit in the exact same spot and the fruit which was buried will always turn into a tree. When the sapling grows into a tree, (4 days) take out the fruit and bury the fruit somewhere else. Repeat this process until you have loads of trees and then on harvest day, harvest them all and youll get loads of money. If you have enough trees, you can get 100,000+ in a day! Heres a list of the fruit Ive found out so far: Pear Apple Cherry Coconut Note: Find coconuts on the beach at random times. Orange Peach Also for coconuts, to grow them, they must be 1 square above the sand on the beach. Not on the sand or 2 squares above the sand, but 1 square above the beach. Fish 3.02 Fishing can be very annoying at times trying to get the right position for the bait to take its place, but at the end of the day, it can be quite rewarding. If you want to get a lot of money in one batch of fish, only take fish that are worth more than 1000 bells. Also, fish come out at different times of the day so dont expect to see a rare fish you caught at night to be there in the morning. Fish also come out depending on the weather and time of the year. To find out all this information, heres a graph in alphabetical order: Name Season Location Value Angelfish May Oct / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 3000 Arapaima Jul Sep / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 10,000 Arowana Jun Sep / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 10,000 Barbel Steed Year Round / All Day River 200 Barred knifejaw Mar Nov / All Day Ocean 5,000 Bitterling Nov Feb / All Day River 900 Black Bass Year Round / All Day River 300 Blue Marlin Jul Sep / All Day Ocean 10,000 Bluegill Year Round / Midday River 120 Carp Year Round / All Day River 300 Catfish May Oct / Dawn, Dusk, Night Pond 800 Char Mar Jun, Sep Nov / Dawn, Dusk Waterfall 3,800 Cherry salmon Mar Jun, Sep Nov / Dawn, Evning River 1,000 Clownfish Apr Sep / All Day Ocean 650 Coelacanth Year Round / Dawn, Dusk, Night Ocean(Rain) 15,000 Crawfish Apr Sep / All Day Pond 250 Crucian carp Year Round / All Day River 120 Dab Oct Apr / All Day Ocean 300 Dace Year Round / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 200 Dorado Jun Sep / Dawn, Midday, Dusk River 15,000 Eel Jun Sep / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 2,000 Football fish Nov Mar / Dawn, Dusk, Night Ocean 2,500 Freshwater goby Year Round / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 300 Frog May Aug / All Day Pond 120 Gar Jun Sep / Dawn, Dusk, Night Pond 6,000 Giant snakehead Jul Aug / Midday Pond 5,500 Goldfish Year Round / All Day River 3,000 Guppy Apr Nov / Midday River 1,300 Hammerhead shark Jun Sep / All Day Ocean 8,000 Horse mackerel Year Round / All Day Ocean 150 Jellyfish Aug / All Day Ocean 100 Killfish Apr Aug / All Day Pond 300 King Salmon Sep / All Day River 1,800 Koi Year Round / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 2,000 Loach Mar May / All Day River 300 Ocean sunfish Apr Sep / Dawn, Midday, Dusk Ocean 4,000 Octopus Sep Jan, Mar Jul / All Day Ocean 500 Olive flounder Year Round / All Day Ocean 800 Pale chub Year Round / Midday River 200 Piranha Jun Sep / Midday, Night River 2,500 Pond smelt Dec Feb / All Day Pond 300 Popeyed goldfish Year Round / Midday River 1,300 Puffer fish Jul Sep / All Day Ocean 240 Rainbow trout Mar Jun, Sep Nov / Dawn, Dusk River 800 Red snapper Year Round / All Day Ocean 3,000 Salmon Sep / All Day River 700 Sea bass Year Round / All Day Ocean 160 Sea butterfly Dec Feb / All Day Ocean 1,000 Seahorse Apr Nov / All Day Ocean 1,100 Shark Jun Sep / Dawn, Dusk, Night Ocean 15,000 Squid Dec Aug / All Day Ocean 400 Stringfish Dec Feb / Dawn, Dusk, Night River 15,000 Sweetfish Jul Sep / All Day River 900 Tuna Nov Mar / All Day Ocean 7,000 Yellow perch Oct Mar / All Day River 240 Zebra turkeyfish Apr Nov / All Day Ocean 400 And there is the list of all the fish you can get. I really wouldnt spend all my time trying to catch bugs. If you are going to, heres a list of their locations and so on. Bugs are just too rare to find and they give you a low amount of bells for selling them. My advice, dont waste your time trying to find bugs. Fossils 3.04 Youre probably thinking, how do fossils get me money. Well, surprisingly, Tom Nook will buy them. To obtain fossils, firstly have a shovel. Everyday, there will be three green star things in the grass or dirt spread around your town. Some of these give you robot things, (You can put them in your house, but I dont think they give many points.)some give you pitfall trap seeds and some of them are fossils! To sell the fossils, have them checked with Blathers. Like I said, there are only three of the stars and they may not be all fossils. Flea Market 3.05 The flea market comes around the first Saturday each month. This is a good way to sell the things you dont need, and to buy some of your neighbours furniture. This time, there is no table. (Phew..) All Im going to say is that this is a good day to make some money and buy some new furniture. Also, you should note how much you bought things for. That way, you can make sure that youre getting some profit. Turnips 3.06 Turnips are a good source of money. Every Sunday, Joan, a turnip seller, comes around selling turnips. There are the white ones and there are the red ones. Ill explain the red turnips first. Buy the red turnips for 1000 bells and then plant it near your house. Water it everyday until Saturday, and then shovel it out. Next, sell it to Tom Nook for an astounding 16,000 bells which gives you 15,000 bells profit. This may seem good, but Joan can only sell one bag of red turnips each week and you can easily get that 16,000 bells in a day. Dont depend on this money source too much or you will have very little money during game play. Now for the white turnips. The white turnips are the stock market. Sometimes its good, sometimes its bad. If you want to know the price of the turnips, ask Tom Nook what price he will pay for the turnips. I think it can go as high as 600 bells each. Joan has an unlimited supply of white turnips, so buy all you want. The bad thing about this is that the turnips go bad in one week. Also, Tom Nook changes his price against turnips after noon so check after noon. If you dont want to cheat, Sell them on the last day (Saturday), but if you do want to cheat, use this. The Table Trick. If you want to keep your turnips fresh until you get a high price for each turnip, follow these steps. 1. Go into your house and go to your table. 2. Put something on the ground in front of the table. 3. Store all your turnips on the table. 4. You can store up to 99 turnips in one space. I think. 5. On the day it has good pay, take the turnips and sell them to Tom Nook. White turnips are a great way to get money, so play around with the stalk market. Shells 3.07 Shells appear on the beach everyday and they take some time to reappear and they give you little money, but, if you need cash quick, shells are your answer. Heres a list of them. Name Value Conch 350 Coral 250 Dalls Top 90 Pearl Oyster 1200 Porceletta 30 Sand Dollar 60 Scallop 600 Venus Comb 150 White Scallop 450 Not a very good money source, but an easy way to get quick money. Animal Hobbies 3.08 Animal hobbies are like the name suggests, animal hobbies. Fulfilling a hobby will get you around 500 bells so its probably not worth it. To find out about a animal hobby, talk to a specific animal and they may say something like they want pink furniture or something like that. You can fulfill these if you want, but dont go over 500 bells. This wont get you that much money since you have to buy something, so dont depend on this. Fulfilling an animal hobby may also get you a piece of furniture. Animal Deliveries 3.09 This is simple. Just talk to an animal and they may ask you if you could give something to someone for them. After they tell you what to deliver and who to, they give you a time limit. You must finish the task on time and not open the package/ letter to get a reward. It is either bells or furniture. Again, dont depend on this money source. Interest 3.10 Interest is what it sounds. Every month, you get some money depending on the amount of money you have in your bank account. If you want to cheat, set the time ahead 99 years, go to your mailbox, take the money and repeat. Again, dont depend on this unless you want to cheat. Lyle 3.11 Lyle appears around your house every Saturday. On the first Saturday, if you answer his questions, he will make you buy health insurance for 1000 bells so everytime you get stung by a bee, you get 100 bells. The next type of insurance is Damage insurance. I think its 5000 bells and everytime you buy a fake item (Only from Crazy Redds) you get some money. End of this subject Hints 4.00 These are some hints about the game Animal Crossing. These may sound like cheats, but they were made by the game so its not really cheats. Magic Rock 4.01 Everyday, there is a magic rock which has money in it. To get this money, you have to hit the rock with a shovel. Simply go around banging each rock, but there is a problem. Each time you hit the rock with a shovel, you get pushed back. To avoid this, stand diagonally to the rock and dig 2 holes around you. Heres a diagram 11111111 11111111 11111111 555 888 1=Rock 555 888 5=You 555 888 8=Hole 888 888 888 The amount of money you can get is in this order: 1st hit= 100 bells 2nd hit= 200 bells 3rd hit= 400 bells 4th hit= 800 bells 5th hit= 1000 bells 6th hit= 2000 bells 7th hit= 4000 bells 8th hit= 8000 bells And this is all can hit it. Email me if you can hit at least one more time than me. Money trees 4.02 Nobody tells you about the magic rock, but one of your animal neighbours should tell you about this. This trick is simple. Have no equipment equipped and go around shaking trees with no fruit growing on them and eventually, you will find 100 bells. Not a very good source of money. Sometimes when you shake the trees, a beehive will fall out and the bees in there will try to sting you. You have two choices at that point. Either get your net out quickly and catch the bees, or run to the nearest house and get inside. You cannot outrun the bees sadly. If you get stung you have another 2 choices. Either save the game and then open your game up again, or buy some medicine and use it on yourself. Actual money trees 4.03 This is a money tree which you can grow to get 3 times more money than how much you planted. First you will need the golden shovel. Next, make a hole in the ground and bury an amount of money in there. You can bury as much money as you want, but the limit of money you will get from the tree is 30,000 bells each picking. So for example you bury 50,000 bells in the ground. If the tree grows, you will get a total of 90,000 bells altogether because the limit for each picking is 30,000. Also just because you chop down a tree and plant it in the exact same spot, doesnt mean its always going to grow. Also, money trees wont regenerate money again. Other things 5.00 I know this guide is about making money, but why not putting some other things in here. Here they are. Golden tools 5.01 Golden tools as the name suggests, are tools that are golden. These tools are obviously better than ordinary ones, but they may take some time to acquire. Heres a list of what you need to do. Golden Axe Getting the golden axe is the hardest to do I would say. I cant really be stuffed typing all the situations, so Ill just write how to get the golden axe directly. Start by purchasing a Red Turnip from Joan. Trade it to Wendel for a Turban or Country Guitar when he appears in town. If Wendel gave you a Turban, trade it to Sahara for a Massage Chair or Red Vase when she comes to town. If Sahara gave you a Massage Chair, trade it to Tortimer on the next holiday to get the Scallop Seashell. Give the Scallop Seashell to Pascal to get the Golden Axe. Golden Bug Net Catch one of each type of bug to get the Golden Bug Net. Golden Fishing Rod Catch one of each type of fish to get the Golden Fishing Rod. Golden Shovel Bury a regular shovel in the ground. When dug up after 24 hours, it will be a Golden Shovel. Golden Slingshot Shoot fifteen items out of the sky and a Golden Slingshot will appear in the sky. Shoot it down to collect it. Golden Timer Get the Golden Axe, Golden Bug Net, Golden Fishing Rod, Golden Shovel, Golden Slingshot, and Golden Watering Can. Then, Tortimer will give you the Golden Timer. Golden Watering Can Keep the environment perfect for sixteen consecutive days to get a Golden Watering Can from Pelly or Phyllis. Snowmen 5.02 You can only make Snowmen when it is Winter. If you live in the Southern Hemisphere, you can only make it in Summer. To make a snowman, find two snowballs around the place. You can either chose to make one for fun or to make it perfect. Making it perfect allows you to get some rare furniture in the mail. Firstly, kick a snowball around until its in the state where you can push it around with your arms. Keep rolling it on the snow until its as big as it can be. Next find the other one. Do the same thing, but when its height is at your nose, push it on top of the bigger snowball. The snowman will say something and if he is perfect, he will say so. A bit later, you should get a letter with a present attach to it. Balloons 5.03 Sometimes when you are outside, you will hear the wind . This means that a balloon with a present is passing by. Get out your slingshot and try to shoot it down. I think you get some money or some furniture. Im not sure. If you know the full list of the things you can get from shooting balloons, please email me. K.K slider 5.04 K.K slider, the dog too cool for the music industry, will appear in the caf on Saturday nights from 8:00 PM till Midnight. You can either choose to request a song or let him play a song he chooses. Some songs cannot be sung with the random song selector. Once he sings a song, he will give you the record of it which you can use to play at your house. Here is a list of the songs there are. Agent K.K. Aloha K.K. Cafe K.K. Comrade K.K. DJ K.K.
