Ok, if you corner a chicken anywhere in the game, start attacking with slash or stab attack (slashi sword horizontally or vertically), it won't work with a homing attack. Anyway, if you attack and hit it 4 times, it will turn red and start following and attacking you. But that is not the end of it. A bunch of chickens will be flying around, and if one touches you, you lose 1/2 a heart. It's fun to do, but not very helpful.

OK you want money quick and fast in this game.Go to gust island and there will be a bunch of those little purple and Grey guys all around the island. Kill them all to make hundreds, because every time you kill a group of those Grey things you get 20 rupees.

First go to Mercay Island now go to the highest place on the island(the darkest on the map)go to the part that is sticking out towars the east go on the south part of this part of the landform and place a bomb a cave will open enter it and go east and exit you will be on a mini island go up and talk to the person with a guitar and talk to him/her/and he/she will go on yammering about magic boxes.This is Tag Mode now talk to a box and put something in that you don't want and you will have activated Tag Mode now press a button on the southern part of the island to extend a bridge making it easyer to come and go no when you choose your save file it will say:Adventure Battle and Tag Mode

To do the vertical slice, put your pen in front of link and schetch towards him but don't do it behind him or it won't work(its just like doing a horizontal slice)...

On Mercay Island, at the docks, there are a lot of chickens running around. If you manage to catch one (lead it into a corner so it can't escape) tap it to pick it up. Next go to the south-west corner of the docks and there is a little island over some water. If you walk into the sea carrying the chicken you can glide across to the island and go up the steps there is a treasure chest up there.

In the Temple of the Ocean King, once you have the super spin attack that you receive from one of the side quests, if you perform the super attack on the blue floor that makes noise, there will not be any noise, making it a lot easier to kill the phantoms and on top of that, you moving a lot faster while doing the attack than just plain running.

After you get the great spin attack, go to mercay island, go up left of the temple of the ocean king and use it on the trees. If you hit a certain place on the trees you will recoil and teleport behind the trees and you can run around outside the boundaries of the game. There isnt anything here but it's fun to do!

The Cyclone is a fabulous Slate found in the hidden secrets of Uncharted Island. Uncharted Island is found west of Isle of Gust. Solve the Puzzle and enter the cave to get the Slate from the Golden Frog Chief.

Golden Frogs: There are 6 of these frogs hidden in the ocean for you to Hunt down to get there mark of travel. When you get their mark, use the mark on the slate to come to that location next time you want to come here as well as having the gold frog head on the sea chart so you know where to find him next time you forget the mark.

Golden frog Locations:
NW Sea Chart: North of Isle of Guest
NE Sea Chart: Bottom of the Chart, approximately between south of Maze Island and South of Isle of Dead
SW Sea Chart 1: North of Molida Island
SW Sea Chart 2: South of Mercay Island
SE Sea Chart 1: About North West of Dee Ees
SE Sea Chart 2: North East of the Sea Chart, approximately around where the traveller's ship is when you first enter the chart on a new day.

Cyclone Marks: Since there is 6 Golden frogs, there are 6 cyclone Marks to know. Some of the marks are easy to get completed, others are not so simple to complete. The marks recieved from NW, NE and Both from SW are easy to draw and shouldn't get too much trouble from.

First Mark from SE Sea Chart can be draw as straight Lines. Example draw the Little Line bits on the end and draw the curved part as if when you've finished it's a triangle looking thing.

Secound Mark from SE Sea Chart can be draw different as well. Since This Mark is Straight, it's no point saying to anyway. Instead Draw a Square except when you get to the Bottom, in the middle draw a line and back down than continue your way as if it looks like some Shorts.

Uncharted Island if you didn't know already, looks like a whale. The tail is the top-right area and the top-left area is that water coming out. And when you talk to the Golden Frog for the first time, he'll say that the Ocean King told him or showed him this island. Isn't this a little fishy to you. Yes it is, the Ocean King is Indeed a Whale which is why it is the shape of Uncharted Island. You may have already known this if you found Uncharted Island and drew around the outside and finished the game.

Wow, I know, I know a lot of the game so stop asking me to give away my secrets.

Harrow Island is a great place to find treasures. You can dig around all over the place to get either Rupees or Rupoors.

Other than Rupees and Rupoors you can also find Treasure Maps, if your lucky (I know of 2 of them hidden in there so far. If there was more I'd say theres another 2 hidden there) and If your extremely Lucky, you may come accross Lucky Lee. Lucky Lee is a fabulous person just based on luck, pay 50 rupees for your chance to win Rupees up to 300 (or it was 200) or Lose 100 rupees. Lee will say for you to choose a small or a large treasure, doesn't matter what size you choose, you'll still have the same luck as the next time you come accross Lucky Lee.

Now to increase the your swords power:
To get these powers you must collect 10 or 20 of each gems and take it to Spirit Island.

10 Power Gems: Link's Sword is coated in flames, increasing it's damage.
20 Power Gems: The Flames burn hotter and the damage is dealt is increased.

10 Wisdom Gems: Link's Sheild becomes stronger, able to deflect more powerful attacks.
20 Wisdom Gems: Link becomes covers in a powerful sheild that greatly reduces damage.

10 Courage Gems: Link's sword emits a short shockwave when used, increasing it's attack range.
20 Courage Gems: The shockwave is greatly enhanced, striking everything that stands before Link.

These arn't really cheats, these are more like secrets and minor things in the game.

1. Seagull Shooting.
Yes thats right, you can shoot seagulls, but apparantly it's not that easy to everyone unless you know how. When you want to go seagull shooting, just get into your boat and use your cannon. You can only shoot the seagulls near you, not far away from you. Cannon shooting is only designed to aim at the sea (or where you press on the Touch screen), which makes it hard for you to shoot the seagulls away. When there are close enough, very possible really close to your ship, you can shoot them and they blow up in the air. Once you shot a seagull and it blow up, all other seagulls fly away. Very fun activity on the sea when your waiting to get somewhere.

2. Beedle and Masked Ship.
Have you ever wondered who is the Masked ship is? And Why Beedle is never around the same time as the masked ship? Well I can tell you this, THERE THE SAME PERSON. I don't know anyone who would not know this, but if you didn't know at all, well now you know so stop asking question about him. The only difference is that the Masked ship is expensive and never uses the point system.

3. Dizzy Link (You)
Have you ever seen Link (You) Dizzy at all. Well you can now throughout the whole game. Getting Link (You) Dizzy is extremely easy if you got the great spin attack after the trading sequence, but Have you wondered how to do it if he hasn't got the attack? Well I know and I can tell you. Do exactly the same way to unleash the great spin attack, Spin Attack 3 times. And since you don't have the great spin attack, he'll just feel dizzy instead.

4. Game, Cutout Story Board at the Start.
Have you ever wondered what this was all about? Cutout Story Board with the evil guy and you thinking you may Know him. Well I can tell you exactly what this was. That story you were shown was all What happened in the GameCube Game, Zelda: The Wind Waker. If you were thinking that this game was complicated now, wait until you try the Wind Waker. I'd say it's about 5 to 7 Time harder than this game.

5. Me Telling you this.
Have you ever wondered whats the point of me telling you this. Its for you to know every single angle of the game so you can know lots more than what you know in-game adventure of defeating the final boss. I Hope you like my secrets.

Take these to zauz and have him smelt them together to make the phantom sword blade.take the sword blade to oshus aka grandpa and he will magically polymerize the phantom hourglass and the sword blade.vuala!you can now kill bellum and phantoms not to mention the bonuses you getfor killing all the phantoms on the floor!my record time is 2:49.

If you chart the map like linebeck said,you will realize it`s a whale.the first one you hit is the tail part of the island(or upper-right).the second one is the blowhole(or upper-left).third is where you go upstairs(or flipper).the last one is surrounded by water near the ship(or the eye).the path will open and you`ll get a cool item.

Here is a list of all the possible ways to make lots of Ship Parts, Treasures and Rupees. I'm sure that these ways are great because I ended up getting all Golden ship parts by using these ways and even every single ship part within 48 hours after I got to the end of the game.

1. Ocean King Temple Cheat
Requirement: Phantom Sword
On level's B1-B4 and B6, Defeat all the Phantoms and a treasure chest will appear containing a random treasure
On level's B7-B9, Defeat all the Phantoms and a treasure chest will appear containing a random ship part
On level's B10-12, Defeat all the Phantoms and a treausure chest will appear that will contain rupees. All three together makes 600 rupees (100, 200 and 300)
On level B13, Defeat all three sets of Phantoms that appears and 2 treasure chests appear through the doors containing ship parts. Note: B13 only happens after you beat Belldum in the arena ahead.

2. Pirates Cheat
Requirement: Salvage Arm
Go to an area that contains pirates. Shoot the main pirate boat (The one with the sail) and if you must, shoot the other 2 down, because they can get annoying. A red X appears on the map after the ship is destroyed. Go to and use your salvage arm to pick up a treasure chest containing a random ship part.

3. Beedles Ship Shop Cheat
Requirement: Rupees. Lots and lots of rupees
Go to Beedle's ship shop and buy all the items except potions. If a treasure item worth 50 or 150 is sold at least 200 more rupees, 800 worth treasure sold at 300 more rupees and 1500 treasures sold over 2000, than don't buy it. It would be wasting all those precious rupees. Save and turn power off. Go to the Ds options and in the date option, go forward by one day. Get back into the game and visit Beedle again. Do this over and over again and you should have tonns of ship parts and treasure items. Its good if you saved this and only did this in South West area.

4. Ho Ho Tribe Ship Cheat
Remember how I said in the last cheat when buying treasure how not to buy treasures at least that much higher than the original price, well Beedle's Ship shop cheat can also be used with this cheat.

Requirement: Treasures
Go to South East area and go to the travellers ship. Talk to the guy at the front and sell your treasure type. They buy a certain treasure for a certain number of days and Treasure prices are random but higher than original price.
Do the same thing with the last cheat by saving, power off and changing the date. After that go visit them again, and sell the next treasure type unless the same one. Do this over and over again. To check which treasure they wany easily, on the right side, talk to the secound guy and he should say something like "Wheres a (treasure item)....." with the other stuff afterwards of course.

Note:If you got the Cyclone slate, with the Golden Frog near the top right corner of the South East map, than this would make it way more easier if doing this cheat with Beedle's Ship Shop.

5.Island Store
Requirement:Rupees
Go to a store on one of the 3 Islands that has one and buy the treasure. Save and change the date on your DS by one day. Get back on and buy the new treasure that appears. Do this over and over again. If your a beginner, sell them at the Treasure seller, but it would be wise that you wait until you get to the end of the game where you could make more money than this.

6.Man of Smiles
Requirement: Nothing but ready to battle
Go to the Traveller's Ship in the North East map and beat all the enemies. Go towards the door and the Man of smiles appears. If this is your first visit, you would get an introductory and the Heroes new Cloths. If this happens, after you get the item exit ship and re-enter the ship and beat all the enemies. Talk to the Man of smiles and than do it again to get a postcard. Go to any postbox and put it in. Save and go forward by at least a day. Go to the post box and receive a letter saying that you won but you don't get anything or a letter saying you lost but you get a loser prize which is a random ship part. (I believe this was added to have some sarcasism to the game). If you don't like the ship part, or want to change it, just restart the game making sure you didn't save it after you got the letter, but you still get a random choice of the kind of letter.

7. Dead Guard
Requirement: Nothing but ready to battle
Go to the Traveller's Ship in the South West map. Defeat the enemies and talk to the Guard pretending to be dead. If you already got the gem from him, you should get 1 or 2 random treasure items.

8. Free Rupees
This is not really good but it something I thought could have been added. On all the islands, even in the Temples, remember how you see free rupees on the ground, well these rupees reappear. So where ever you see free rupees on an island, take them and enter a house or temple and come out and get them again. If it's a temple, get the rupees and exit temple and re-enter the temple and claim them again. And of course do this over and over again. If your a starter, the Temple on Isle of Gust has a 100 rupee in a hidden wall that reappears that you could claim.

Hope I helped your Rupee and Item problems.

If you read the title don't just scroll past it, looking for a different cheat. When you are on mercay island and you see a treasure chest in the southwest corner of the big area with lots of houses.theres no place to hookshot, you can't jump it, how do you get that chest??? You creep up slowly on a chicken,
Pick it up, and when you try and jump that distance, the chicken flys you over the really far distance. This works everywhere there is a chicken and a long distance.

To get 100 ruppes go to the place you start at the begging by the shop where costimies your ship but don't go in just keep going up till you go to a diffrent place then go up the stairsthen go up the second stairs and there should be 2 trees go to the farthest tree away from the stairs then roll aganist the tree then a big green ruppe should fall out and is worth 100 ruppes. [ps. You can only do this 1 time]

Its quite simple
First, recommended things:
> at least 1500 rupees
> at least has met and can get to the ho ho tribe people (south east map)

First thing, go to the south west map, save, turn off the DS system, then turn back on, move one day ahead ON YOUR DS SYSTEM
Next, turn it back on after it automaticlly turns it off for changing your date, beedle should be on the same map, go to him and check what he has for the treasure, CHECK THE PRICE OF IT NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, these are the prices that you want it to be UNDER

Pink Coral: 150
Pearl Necklace: 50
Dark Pearl Loop: 50
Zora Scale: 1500
Goron Amber: 800
Ruto Crown: 50
Helmaroc Plune: 150
Regal Ring: 1500

Now, once you bought the treasure, bring to the trasure guy at Mercay Island, you will make profit

BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!!
If your lucky to get Goron Amber from him, go to the ho ho people, talk to the guy that isnt looking out of a window, he will say something like he can't see, talk to him again and he will buy the Amber off of you for more than the treasure dude, I'm not sure what else he takes, but he took my Goron Amber

This skill is basiclly called Marketting, buy low, sell high!!!

You know those springy stones?You know how they give you info?Well I figured out a way to get the locations of chests for free!When you see one save your game,talk to it and pay 20 rupees,get the locations of the chests,remember them,and turn your game off,load your file and wale!scribble down the remembered locations and you have the locations of the chests in the area/floor for free!This will work even better if you have a non-forgetful mind.So,do this with every springy stone you find and you'll save tons of money!

Just dig a lot and you have a ton of fives:) I really need the cheat for a boomarang [only] because I used an action replay code to get the graple thing and the bow and it got rid of my boomarang so please give me an action replay code that only gives you the boomarang:(

All you have to do is wait one day then go to Beedele's and he has two parts for sale.

If your desparate for rupees go to the first island you start out on (i forgot whats it called) and next to the ship yard there will be a decent patch of grass it will almost give you $5 every time just cut and go inside th shipyard cut and go inside the shipyard.
