If you are nice to her friends and only mean to her ex-boyfriend Sean you will progress further with the girl.
This can be done by changing the perimeters at the 'Music' section of 'Extras'. If the perimeters are ALL low the music will sound negative (strange and eerie). If the perimeters are at the center, the music will flow normally. If the perimeters are ALL high the music will sound positive.

Here's some advice on how to get all the girls to rank you number one on the bonus speed dating level for the styrofoam cup and chips (pokie not potato)

First tell her that you wish you had more time to get to know her then when she offers you her contact details just tell her your only after her blog url.
Then tell her you wanted to get to know her before the contest and when she says about chatting online 17 hours a day comment that she must have an awesome avatar.
Your last words to her should be that you had a great time (last words to everyone else should be that they are your number 1 so far).
P.S for a bit of a laugh tell her about the bomb in the building as she takes you seriously Alex: Ask her what she wants to know about you and when she tells you that she heard a "little" rumor she was hoping to confirm say that there are no "little" rumors involved.
Ask her about the other guys, when she says that you and the guy before you are on pretty even ground tell her you know she is crazy about you.

Shana: Tell her you can tell from her eyes that she has a beautiful soul and then ask herself to describe herself in three words-when she does it in one (infinite) tell her the other two would have to be resplendent and transcendent (I think that's what they were).
Kiki: Tell her to kiss you and that she'll want more, kiss her, screw chemistry were both hot let's make this happen, kiss her again.
Leanne: Tell her to run away with you, let them talk you're the only one who matters, There is a bomb in the building we only have three minutes to live, what would that look like(dropping her ladylike discretion).
Becky:You can tell from her eyes that she has a beautiful soul, you wanted more time to get to know her, that was Becky the girl-you want to know Becky the woman.
