The following list of characters are ALL unlocked by performing the corresponding task at the indicated stage of the game.
Unlock Ansom in Stage 5:
Speak to with anyone.
Unlock Owl in Stage 7:
Speak to with Marie.
Unlock Cotton in Stage 9:
Clear the hidden Stage 9.
Unlock Alhambra in Stage 10:
Speak with Serdic near the big boulder.
Unlock Rukia in Stage 11.
Speak to with Serdic.
Unlock Elmer in Stage 12:
Speak to with Selmer.
Unlock Arios in Stage 13:
Speak to with Elmer.
Unlock Shino in Stage 15:
While Marie is alive speak to with Serdic.
Unlock Aegil in Stage 17:
While Marie is alive send Serdic to east door of the start point.
Unlock Simon in Stage 18:
Speak to with Marie or Serdic.
Unlock Yumiluna in Stage 18:
Speak to with Serdic.
Unlock Izuna in Stage 19:
In stage 18 speak to Yumiluna with Serdic and have Shino speak with Izuna.
Unlock Garahad in Stage 21:
Speak to with Igraine.
