How do you pop or get past the purple balloons in the wii zhu zhu pets wild bunch game level 1?

You hit the 1 button while you walk which makes you dash and pop the balloons as you come up to them.
You cannot pop them if they are floating in thin air , instead you bounce on them but if they are on the ground you charge them to pop them but they adventually pop up again so hurry past them[color=blue][b][/b] [/color]
