To keep him from using exodia necross, use soul release on the exodia pieces. He won't be able to use his best monster and then a good powerful deck is all you need to destroy is life points.

Use Stop Defense when he sets a card, it's usually an Exodia piece. After getting rid of 5 pieces, use Soul Release and use powerful cards to attack directly.
