To get Ra you have to battle Marik enough times to get his friendship level with you up and then he may trade it to you.
Beat marik enough times to get him put ointo your friends list. Then put your god card in your trunk. And keep duelling marik until he asks you to trade his Ra for your Slifer (or Obelisk)
