Well if you got him after Baby Mario fell down, that means that you got 100 points from collecting coins and circling enemies. Get him again by collecting 100 coins or getting 100 points with some coins and circling enemies. You can get different color yoshis. It depends on how many points you can get. Try to get yellow yoshi! He has 45 eggs or something like that. There is also black yoshi. He has more. There might be more. And I thought blue yoshi had more eggs? Whatever...

It's because you got 60 points:
Green: 60 and below ,20 eggs
Light blue:60-84 points, 25 eggs
Pink:85-99 points, 30 eggs
Dark bue:100 points, 35 eggs
Red:40 eggs
Yellow:45 eggs
Black: 50 eggs(farthest yoshi you can get)
