Babies???
I made one baby (which is now 5 years old!) and now whenever I drop a male on a female it just has the "?" come up and they wander away... What am I doing wrong???? i made sure the huts are built properly etc... it's just not happening and my people are getting older!! HELP!

you just have to try it again and again i made a 58 year old man make babies with a 21 year old girl anything is possible good luck

try different people it sometimes works and the age dosnt matter in the game

you dont have enuff huts trust me its stumped me before i built all the huts in the lagoon and i couldnt make babies go to da jungle to build more huts and u can make babies

You need to build more huts, make sure none of your huts have been destroyed by bugs, and be persistent.

I have the same problem and I've tried probably 100 times and nothings working ): and my villagers are getting old and I need more babies

the huts don't have to be built fully there has to be food in your village and has to have to huts built and then you just keep triing to they start kissing.

You need more houseing! Make more huts then try to create more children.

I think I might have found the real problem. It's the numbers of villagers in one area, which I think it's limited to 15 villagers. Even if you build all the hut, you can't breed unless you send some people away to volcano island or jungle.
I noticed this when I try to revive the villagers, they revived just fine in the jungle but wouldn't work at the lagoon. I have to send some villages away before it work again. And if you try to bring back some villagers from volcano island or jungle while the lagoon population at it's max, you can only trade some villagers over. Same goes with breeding I think, if you got the population full, you can't breed.

Put a female on breeding as a skill and keep trying. You could do it to a male, but then you'd have several women with babies.
