How do I scan a car?

On the right corner on the bottom screen there is a target shaped thing tap it and you have your scanner to get off it tap it again
Tap the scan button on the touch screen (with the circle reticle on it), and aim your scanner towards the car you want to scan. Make sure you stay still and keep the car within the scanning reticle until the scan progress hits 100% lest it resets to zero the moment you aim away, forcing you to start the scan over.
