Question for The Urbz : Sims in the City

Okay...I have searched for any help and come up empty handed so hopefully someone will be my angel and I can finally move on with this game!! I am on the Splicer Island mission.

I have read on the walkthroughs that after you win the pet show you should be able to pick up a red flag and turn into your pet and then move on to your next mission.

I have also read that the game is supposed to cut to a scene of Cynthia Braintrust calling for help or something. I won the pet show and obtained a YELLOW not RED flag and seem to not be able to do anything further with this mission.

My game never cut to any scene and I have no clue what to do from here.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!! I've also seen the question about the trash dissapearing after you are on a mission to recycle 100 pieces for the Arsties and no one seems to have an answer for this problem...

Just thought I'd take a last stab at finding an answer.

The trash disapears when you complete level 2 so you have to get them all before finishing that level.
