Question for The Urbz : Sims in the City

When I spoke to the monkeys on splicer island to get them to be my helpers a barrier appeared to stop me getting onto the island, how do I get this removed and what is the next s mission after this??

I really want to make a pet can any explain or help please?? I would be reaaly greatful because I have completed the rest of the game it's jsut these missions I'm stuck on.

It will be open in 10 days after you have completed all goals of LAND HO! mission.

All I can say because I can't get a pet either.
