I am not sure what it does yet, but it is Simons special sprite and you can only get it by getting the 3 items on the page in the field guide about it. I found the beetle when I walked into the celler. It is right next to the wall and it's small and sparkley. I found the white flower ring-looking thing in the hidden glade when I met Aurther Spiderwick. Its hard to see and is small, white, and sparkley. I havent found the third ring-looking thing yet though. Hope this helped.
