Someone told me you make friends with the owner, wait until everyone else in the house is either out( and that means in the city, not in the garden), sleeping or in the shower ( all three at once if you like) click on the object you want to take and click steal1 Oh yeah, and you have to be in the criminal career. Hope this helped!

yes u can rob people u have to the criminal job and once you reach level 5 you can go to your friends house and steal dressers and their kitchen counters

Haha I'm going to try this although I've got a really good career in the medical earning 2000 200 simelons every day but this will be funny I guess you could steal from your enemies!!!
I think that if you really want to steal, steal from someone rich like alex goth, or a Landgraab like Malcolm or Bambi to get the best's of stuff,but I'm also guessing that if they find out that you will be their enemy

I steal money from my friends off their kitchen counters my sim isn't in the crimnal carreer but has the trait thats says it causes them to end up with other peoples monye heheehehe

If you want money just do this...
Firts buy a really exspensive thing like statue or tv
Then place and put it back in storage
In storage tap it then then press the button to take it out
DO NO PLACE IT
Go back into your storage and sell it
Then you can still place it but you got the money for selling it

Tap on an object (counter, dresser, etc.) and then the word 'steal' will appear. Click that and voila, although you might not get that much money. You have to be in the criminal career to steal or have the kleptomatic or whatever it's called (ending up with other people's money) trait to steal though. I think you get more money if the people are in the room when you are stealing, or you steal an expensive item. My advice is to go to some really rich sim's house and steal, you'll get more cash there. :D

Well if your sim has the kleptomatic trait, you can go to other sims' houses and steal. All you have to do is click on a dresser or a counter and click steal.
