How to build the fire pit for chef Butcher

I have the axe, bamboo and the small metal bar that I found on the third island, and I still can't build the fire pit for chef Butcher. It's really frustrating. I'm stuck, can't you guys help me. I NEED HELP! BIG TIME.

To build fire pit you need to go to the chef, click the fire place and upgrade it. Then you need to light it and talk to the chef.
