Question for The Sims 2: Castaway

Hi I'm stuck again Suzy the girl on the 3rd island wants a grass skirt I have grass but I don't know what else I need for it everytime I go to my clothes in my survival guide I don't see it anywhere. The rice that is next to the pineapple I can not harvet it wont let me it is full grown and when I tap on it it says it is ready to harvest. What all do I need to make the thread

I think you need the leaves from a palm tree. You have to chop down the palm tree to get the leaves. You have to wait until you get the knife from the chef to harvest the rice.

There are no palm trees to chop down they wash up on shore where you washed up. That is a key area to look at everyday for abunch of the stuff you are going to need.
