Chef troubles

Im wondering if anyone could help me, I am having trouble with the chef as I have collected chillies for him but he will never accept them as my sim keeps wanting 2 give him bananas even though I am giving the bananas to the woman, so the chef gets annoyed and therefor wont accept chillis, I've tried giving him them as a gift but he doesnt acknowledge them as being delivered 2 him. Im soo stuck! Ive got as far as I can, got the tomb and all the items in there and also been up to the top of the cliff where you're meant to put a telescope so what is next?

Your not giving him bananas, his going bananas. You need to increase your friendship with him before he'll accpet anything. Talk to him, give him a gift. The chef likes Eggs and Yams.

Only let your Sim talk to a new person one time to greet them. Offer help, then give them gifts and do not talk until the bar goes from red to green. What your Sim is doing is bragging how he is helping Mrs Weeder get bananas and that is what is angering the Chef. He talks about chilis all the time but if you give him one he gets angry. He likes peaches, salmon and eggs. It also will help if you light his campfire, he gets friendlier but then he wants more help!
