The internal clock cheat works but DON'T USE IT!!!!!!!!!!! It messes up your game really bad. I tried it and almost ruined my game. What you do is when you turn on your DS, go to change time. If you are building a room set the time 8 hours in the future. Yadda, yadda, yadda. When you want to change the time back, change it to whatever time it is. This is where you get the problem.
If you go into the room after you change the time Everything will be white. Just turn off the game. When you do change the time back The guy at the front desk will say this, " You dirty little time traveler. Now the aliens have launched a full scale invasion." Then you have to defeat all of the aliens and they are everywhere! Have fun!:-)
