pet homer problem

I have a problem in pet homer. I've unlocked a book but I don't know what to do with it. Can someone help me please?

I also have unlocked the book on pet homer. When I try to give it to him all he does is shake his head and say no way.

I do not know either because I've tried it when he has a heart attack because when he is recovering he sometimes eats a vegetable but I can not get him to read a book and if he does not read it then what is the point of putting it on there??? Smile
