I am in the level where you have a ape throwing barrels at you and you have to jump between the two middle ledges , BUT I CAN'T please help me , I'm desperate

Once you get to the first right hand platform you have to jump to the over side. Do a run up then jump once you are about 1/2 way across jump again, that should give you enough push to reach the other side. It did take me quite a few go's but I finally got there - also make sure you dump all the pins only then will the ape be defeated ! :-)
You have to stand right on the edge of the left platform, then jump once and just as you start to go down, jump again, this makes a double jump but further and you have to keep on trying because sometimes you can be too late and sometimes too early. Just try it. Hope this helps.
Run and jump ONCE when you are about 2/3 of the way across press B again!
When you are on the right platform just run and jump once and then at the very end when you are nearly to the left platrom jump again , that should get you over there
