How do I get through the ice temple? I'm at the part where I have to hit 4 purple things at one time with my boomerang

Have to hit the switches all at once. Forget the boomerang, you have to go stand in the middle of them, and then do a spin attack, thus hittign them all. All there is to it, my friend. :3
