The riddle is actually the order you must hit those gray blobs around the island. Order is 1. In North East area... 2. North West Area... 3. On a Platform, Near where you hit the gray blob for the riddle and 4. Is On approximately north of the 3rd.
And by the way those gray blobs are actually statues that can only be hit by your sword.
