You to be lucky in order to get it to appear. I am not 100% sure, but I believe it appears in the Bigger shadow, because there should be two shadows but the bigger one rarely appears and it usually has the rusty swordfish. The Neptoona looks similiar to the Rusty Swordfish but it has dark blue instead of the reddy color.

Thank you for trying to help players, but when I tried it exactly how you said, Neptoona did not show up at all and I waited way over15 or 25 minutes.

I don't know but if it helps you guys have a 10 percent chance to get it in the rusty swordfish shadow wich pops up anywhere sounds useless but will help some of you

Dock at the Isle of Gust. Then leave, and press back so your map is on the top screen. If you wait for about two minutes, a swordfish shadow should appear.Go and fish it. If it is not a neptoona, be patient and try again. Remember: you must have the big catch lure.

Go to isle of gust and come back to sea... Wait for some time....you will see a big shadow catch it...If it is not neptoona do it over and over again...find neptoona ,Go to wayfarer to get 7 hearts and a bomb bag....Enjoy...
