Where do we find the "wood heart" thing.And how do we get past this giant..

In a big chest on the "island of the dead" or the "island of ruins", I can't remember which one, but the one in the most north eastern part of the sea surounded by rocks but not the one with the giant hurricane. On that island you need to go to the pyramid in the north eastern portion of the map and go north one or untill you see a skeleton and tells you about the unending maze in there. Then if you start from the room when you first come in you need to go through the rooms in this order: North, East, East, North, North. When you get there talk to the spirt and go up the stairs behind the coffin/sarcophagus that he was contained in and go foward until you reach that big chest and open it to get the regal necklace then you can get to the island guarded by the big cyclone. The wood heart is part of a sequence of events.
After you compleat the Temple of the Ocean King for the fifth time you'll encounter a traveller's ship "N/E map" wich bords a man who he calls him self the Man of Smiles. Talk to him and he'll give you the Hero's New Clothes. Take it to the traveler's ship at "N/W map" and talk to the Self Proclaimed Hero and he'll ask you for the clothes. In return he'll give you a telescope. Take it to the travelers "S/E map" and there should be a Ho Ho with out a telescope (bottom right), talk to him to resive the Guards Notebook. Take it to Nyave at "S/W map" travelers Ship and you'll get the Wooden Heart. These you'll need to give to the Old Wayfarer. You'll see a new boat "N/E map". The Old Wayfarer should be aboard one of them. Speak with him. When you step out he'lll tell you to go by he's hut and take whats inside a gold tresure chest. -and thats the end of that.
