How do you get treasure when your on the red X on the sea chart?
Cause I get on the X and nothing happens no treasure zero,zip,nada

Get the Salvage Arm, and when you are on top of the X, use it. It will take you to a minigame where you steer the crane, avioding all the water mines. You can collect rupees on the way down, but beware! Once your Salvage arm is damaged, you must pay a fee back at the island where you started the game (I forgot the mane) to repair it.

You have to go buy the Salvage Crane from the guy who sells you the cannon, then you have to go to Menu > Salvage when you're over the X, then you have to steer the crane down by using the bar and moving it around. You'll get the hang of it.
